On my 2009 Rocker C i have the V&H Big Radius. On my 2014 Dyna Wide Glide i have the V&H Side Shots and on my 2021 Street Glide i have a complete Cobra head pipes with Cobra Neighbor Haters. All 3 bikes are tuned with the Screamin Eagle Pro Tuner, all 3 sound awesome
It's sounds totally awesome! Will be getting my new 2023 Harley Davidson Fatboy 114 in Vivid Black for my birthday on August 8th. Gift from my wife and three children!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁 Will be getting the same pipes, but in solid chrome. But the black ones look really sweet! LOL 😂
The title is misleading, unless you think V&H make the best exhausts for HDs because V&H are the main ones demonstrated in this vid - except one Cobra exhaust (which is an awesome brand). There are many other cool HD exhausts out there.
Cobra pipes sound the cleanest and best sound level but I do love the big shots appearance of VH pipes alot. I have Python Throwbacks which are same length as big shots but wrapped. Im ready for a change though cuz they sound great but are just way too loud and the wrap color faded so it looks kind of doo doo now. Im getting the Cobra 909 in black for my Iron. The best by far in my opinion and best price point too and not too loud but just right.
Glad i've got my old set of PORKERS still on the bike, but guess they don't make things like that anymore? Not since V&H bought them up, the performance of PORKER pipes is so much better!!
Ive been really considering something from the cobra speedster line, just haven't seen a whole lot of videos or reviews on them for a harley. Im looking for a good loud sound and performance.
Increase the horsepower 5 to 10 percent at redline almost but everywhere else the bike has no torque. Off road pipes like V&H don’t offer enough back pressure to give full performance from the crack of throttle to full . The bikes bottom end to mid is flat . It’s mostly for looks and sound
Roberto Alcaraz depends on the motor. Thunderheader X is made for S&S 124. Not enough back pressure for smaller engines. The regular thunder headers r great. If your running 110 then vance and Hines is the ticket propipe 2-1
Jeffrey Ricketts are you dead set on true duals? Or just want the true duals look? If you want just the look I’d recommend a D&D with the ghost pipe or a Thunderheader with the ghost pipe. They are a performance 2into1 but you can get the false second pipe for the look. Both in my opinion are the best sounding and loud!! I’m not a fan of true duals. You’ll get the loud noise but that’s about it.
He is not wrong. They are the walmart of Harley pipes. So many others make better sounding and better performing ones. BUT, if your happy, your happy and thats all that matters. Jim, the only people who say that are 1. Harley rider wannabes, 2. snowflakes, 3. not real mean who dot appreciate the sound of torque or know what it is(60's muscle car for example, loud, not speed demons)......and notice I did not say non harley riders. Plenty of them out there and most enjoy the sound of a Harley, just dont prefer it themselves. I got plenty of buddies that ride rice. They got nice bikes and although we poke at each other a bit, we all appreciate the rides. Two wheels is two wheels.
Lol the title is misleading as all this video shows is vance & hinze exhausts only. They are not the best. I wonder who sponsored this bias vid 🤔 V&H 😒
WOW all of these sound like crap. I installed my LA Chopper pipes myself and they sound way better than any of these 10. Plus they are a good price as well.
