Seeing the Formula Student car in this list really made my day. Seeing it P1 is something else. So happy people keep enjoying my car and having fun with it :)
I've only just discovered it having recently built my gaming pc! Thing is, I'm with an Xbox controller and finding the game extremely difficult.. Is it worth investing in a wheel and pedals? Also a little daunting looking at all these mods, not sure how I would go about loading all of this content into the game.
Felt like sharing an opinion. One of my personal favorites for me has to be the Honda NSX by Some1 and his team. It's a car pack which comes with different models of both the Acura and the Honda. The model is scratch made and insanely detailed, the sound is really well made and it uses many features from CSP for effects and physics stuff, allowing them for something more detailed physics wise than what is usually possible in Assetto. It really caught me off guard how close it was to videos I've seen of these cars, Mainly the original Honda NSX and the NSX R, and overall, they're a fun ride. They're challenging enough to punish driver error, but lenient enough to be controllable in those cases 80% of the time if you know what you're doing. I do have to warn you about something. The original NSXs are sensitive to weight transfer when braking or decelerating while turning in, so being delicate about that with those is recommended. This is closer to real life than what you may think though, because they did have this problem in real life based on what I've seen and read. Now. Before anybody comments. No, I haven't driven any of these cars in real life, nor I have a driver's license, so I can't really comment on how close they really are. What I've said about how "realistic" these cars potentially are is only based on information I've read and footage I've seen about them, which doesn't give me much criteria to judge how the cars "should" drive. Ultimately, I mostly like it so much because of what it makes me feel when I drive it, but a part of it also comes from seeing just how much work the creators have put into this. You can find this mod on RaceDepartment. Even though it's already on version 3.1, the mod is still getting developed, and there are still going to be updates which are aming to make it even better. It's free too! So give it a try, try to stick with it for a bit and judge it by yourself. You might enjoy it quite a bit :D PS: Apologies for my bad english
The turning while braking sounds accurate. It's called snap oversteer, and affects cars that are mid engine. If you're interested, look up RU-vid videos explaining the effect, particularly on the Toyota MR2.
I'm aware. I just wanted to point that out because I saw people on RaceDepartment complaining about how easily you could lose the car, even though it actually resembled how people described this car as
Found this channel today, coz I'm installing AC right now and I'm looking for mod recommendations. Very informative stuff and nice video edit. Already subscribed your channel. Too bad the GT Pack is a paid mod, I absolutely love those cars.
Assetto Corsa is basically the gaming world of Skyrim but for cars. It will never die DUE to mods. If Skyrim wasn't able to be modded it would have been a pretty dead game a few years after.
Glad that you spoke about Targa Florio and featured the track from my home region, Sicily! Fantastic video though, I've started playing AC recently for the first time.
I have a question about the V8 Super Cars, how do i install the liveries for them, i downloaded them and tried to drag and drop into content manager but it wouldn't install for me, i have the cars but not the liveries, any help would be great!
Nice List! Goria Thun is so fun. The short track is great for pitting light weight against big and heavy. Take Esprit 3905's suzuki cappuccino and race the Cadillac Escalade. So fun in VR!
Thanks for the video but paid mods smh. I got the ultimate edition in discount for 0.75 EUR and you're telling me there's a mod priced at over 9 EUR. Thats more than 10 times more expensive than the game.
@@CoyoteRacing no problem, I believe its just to support them and have access to pre-release versions and WIP features as well as some app key for enabling new features
@@CoyoteRacing just curious, what would you say there is for them in the first two minutes? It’s all about you padding the runtime. They did not like it because of that, they liked it despite you wasting their time.
@@InShadowsLinger i actually liked it. Ive just brought it, and found the information he talked about and just the general stuff he talked about very interesting, and i think he did a good job on the video. Theres no need for you to be mean, just skip the 2 mins and 20 seconds if you dont want to watch it :)
People like you are apparently too lazy to just tap fast forward a few times, but then spend the time to leave toxic replies 🤷♂️ Why go around spreading salt?
@@ConfusedGeriatric “just tap fast forward a few times” - so you agree it is useless? While I agree my comment should have been less coarse, the main point still stands.
Thanks for the recommendations. Very sad to hear of Shaun Clarke's passing. I'm going to race in his car mods this week as a way of remembering his excellent work. Would you have any paid website recommendations for production car mods? I do like racing, but love just giving standard production cars a go too.
How the F do you download MAD I have to be missing something. I have scanned that webpage fore 15 min and cant find the supposed download link. What am I missing?
I didn't know there was a mod for the Targa Florio, which is hosted in my homeland. I'm from Palermo and I'm definitely going to download it. Thank you so much :)
English as my part time language and not familiar with the accent I spent like 5 minutes replaying you saying paid thinking you said paired version trying to figure out if you meant the fruit or there two content managers
cant wait to jump into these , im going to be new to sim racing all together but fancy my chances against anyone , its every mans dream to be a racing driver and im going to live it on this game. should have a wheel next week , cant wait ! great content btw !
Love the list!! Goria Thun, and indeed all of the current tracks by doublezero are just excellent (I'm partial to Anadara Circuit myself)! I will be heading over to check out the V8 supercars ASAP!! Thank you for the reviews and continue celebrating the drive!!!!
Well hey while your here why not check out my latest video. It's an absolute banger and I think it gives insight to the other content we do here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eQg_MyYcbMQ.html&t
I just moved from my hometown of Montreal to BC and got into sim racing, downloading amazing long distance highway mods as well enjoying stock tracks. I was thinking to myself “wouldn’t be amazing to drive through Vancouver highways like to Whistler” because it’s so beautiful... I found your channel because of your 1998 Vancouver which unfortunately isn’t what I was looking for but it’s going to be REALLY cool to drive Tremblant 😁 thanks!!!
Very cheap on pc on console it is dumb expensive haha, but on deals I got ac with all dlc for 5.99 insane and well well worth it for anyone looking or just getting into sim racing don't be scared by this game it is amazing
Yeah I see ur problem. On the website there's a tab that says "downloads". What ur gonna need to do is click that with ur mouse. That's the tricky part.
