10 Best Watches Under $100 

My mom worked as a watch maker, she used to build HMT watches.

I have never thought that a foreign channel will include HMT, even the Indians have already forgotten about the brand lol. Pilot, Saathi, Janata and Kahinoor are on my bucket list when it comes to HMT. It's hard to get brand new these days.

Really didn't expect to see Pagani on this channel. I'm wearing a PD 1703 and it's probably my favorite watch. Gorgeous, and easily readable. The Seiko VK movement is perfect for this type of watch. Switched it with a buffalo strap that cost as much as the watch itself and I hardly take it off.

Hmt Kohinoor is such a beauty. A mechanical hand wound citizen movement in a beautiful case for under $40 is unbelievable.

I recently bought a Pagani Design PD-1715 with a blue palm dial(in green it looks to much like a datejust than). But i have it for 35 days now and it is keeping perfect time(no adjustment for now) like a well regulated Seiko NH-35 A would. And the fit and finish is much better than expected.

Glad to see you mention the Invicta Pro Diver in this video. It's hard to beat a 200 meter dive watch with an NH35 automatic movement for under a hundred dollars. I have several and most were around eighty dollars. Those Citizen watches were impressive for the price, and the Skagen looked cool, too. I'm not familiar with the brand, but I'll check it out. Casio Edifice EFB-108D-7AV is my pick for watch of the year under $100. Sapphire, 100m WR, PRX styling, awesome bracelet. Hard to beat unless mechanical is mandatory for you.

I picked up my blue and gold Invicta Pro Diver Automatic for $30 in a black friday sale. Definitely worth more than i paid for it.

For the best-under-$250 roundup which is surely looming, give the Tissot Couturier a shot. Isn't even listed on the US website but at 39mm, sub-12mm thickness, and a Powermatic 80... it sets a high value bar indeed.

Instead of the Timex field watch, theres an offering from Lorus that's made of titanium, 100m water resistance, seiko lumibrite on the hands, 7mm thick. it's an absolute steal for around $70.

love the seiko 5, but some specific variant (which looks gorgeous) does not available in my country tho

The stories I’ve read were the French Navy divers started the use of parachute webbing as a watch strap in the 1960’s which were modified by the riggers. The British MoD standardized a webbing strap in 1973.

Never imagine I would see Pagani Design and San Martin mentioned on Watchfinder & Co. Channel one day LOL And to tell you the truth, headquarters of both companies are just 60-80 minutes drive away from my hometown (and I am pretty sure that San Martin used to have their headquarter located just about 10 minutes drive away from my home, but I never knew that until I started my watch collection earlier this year) 😂 For this round I gotta go with the Hand Man, much closer to the $100 price tag, and in particular I love the Vostok, Seiko 5, and Orient watches, all are very decent choices covering a variety of styles.

San Martin are almost always EASILY over $100 (often over $200) sometimes with Swiss movements and finishing to rival Seiko and Swiss brands.

The vostok amphibias are great watches,had one for a long time now and never had any problems with it, the same with the komandirskies. For $100 you can buy two of those 😁.

The Seiko SNKL23 is a little thing of beauty. Love mine. I'd wish the Casio Duro would come in a smaller size, those are great value.

The Vostok Amphibia with a custom bezel is now my daily driver, replacing my more expensive watches. It has survived an intense rafting trip where it was knocked on several rocks, sub -20 C temperatures and several hikes. Incredible engineering.

The Casio MDV 106 is a real gem. Mines on a Barton Bands black sailcloth strap and looks great, keeps good time, and looks much more expensive than it actually was.

I love HMT I buy and sell in California but truthfully I rarely sell they just wear so well on the wrist it feels light but visually is just awsome watching the smooth second hand.

Amazon has loads of Invicta diver's watches for less than £/$100, personally I love Invicta, great value for money. I currently wearing one with a NH35 movement that cost £70

Im building a japanese collection, absolutly love em. Have a Orient diver aswell as the bambino dress watch.

One vote for the human. Having seiko, citizen, orient, swatch, timex, casio and vostok is a win I don't think anyone can do a 10 watches list for under 100$ and skip any of those.

I have a few SanMartin watches because I really think they are great quality. Not just great quality for the price but really great quality overall. I am not here to pretend they have the same class or collectable status but I enjoy wearing them. I am not pretending they are more than what they are. I get a sense of pleasure from them and that’s all that matters to me. I wonder if this channel would ever review a SanMartin?

I had that very model of Invicta acquired 15 years ago when they used ETA movements. And it was over $200. The value now for less than $100 is remarkable. Their 1953 model can be had with a Seiko movement for $60!

While i agree that there are some san martins do have some very VERY close models, i also think they have some pieces that are more of the true "homage" territory (like the explorer with the different finished dials and different numerals/ milsub with different case shape, finishing + proportions, etc.) that are totally fine and i don't think warrant the amount of hate people give to it- i see them in the same category as smiths and invicta, but with better QC. Everything is an homage to something, and at the end of the day, its just a watch that 99% of people won't notice or care about. Most of these fancy trinkets are either discontinued and/or out of the price range for most humans, so buy whatever makes you happy

I'm new to watches, had a ~100€ budget and instead of going for a casio/citizen/seiko I went for a typical fashion brand with miyota quartz movement which design I really like. Speaking from ignorance, is there ANY REAL ADVANTAGE of buying an automatic apart from brand heritage, technical stuff and people's opinion? Cheers

Best buy for me is a Vostok Amphibia. Not so long since you could buy many different Seiko 5s under $50 never mind a hundred. I thought the AI was wise to pick some more expensive watches. In these inflationary times surely the $100 watch is doomed!!

Too bad that robot went to Armitron but missed their actually-cool retro LED offerings. But anyway, I have the "Alien" Casio, a couple of Amphibias, and that green Timex Expedition (which is the best-made/quality-assured Timex I've had yet, including much more expensive options). They're all great options, proving that inexpensive watches can be legit.

8:35, I got a very similar one from China for 15$ as a "try before buy" for a G-Shock that are similarly sized (read: BIG), I opened it and I made good laughs! Inside there is a circuit board that drives the LCDs, retroillumination and so on, with its own 3V large lithium battery... AND a COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT ultra cheap quartz analog movement (with its own small battery) that drives the hands 😆🤣😆🤣 There is NO WAY to properly synchronize the 2 watches also because after a couple of days the analog one is already at least a couple of seconds ahead or behind the LCD one. A real joke of a watch :D :D (and yes, regardless my 19.5cm wrist, I feel that thing, and consequently a G-Shock, too big for me :) )

I got the snkl23, cheap enough from online store in Singapore. Nice looking dress watch particularly the face and hands. Old movement with no hand winding and hacking, rattly cheap bracelet and hollow end links, Mineral crystal. Better off getting a good homage with better spec and newer movement (like the Pagani design) or spend a bit when a Seiko etc half price (never worth RRP).

The Casio MDV-106 is my go to when someone asks for a decent watch. Best beater watch around, looks better than it has any right to look (especially in the color combo you didn't show, gold and black), actually a dive watch, stainless steel, etc. The only downside is the lume is absolute crap compared to a Seiko, but for $50, come on! I always got more complements with this cheap beater than I do with my more expensive watches... My favorite $100 watch I have is a Carnival with tritium indices and hands. Sadly, they don't seem to make it anymore, or maybe it's much more expensive. Came with a Swiss Ronda Quart movement and it's all stainless, including the bracelet. "EPOCH" makes one now, probably the same factory given how similar the case and bracelet look. Yes they're Chinese, but where else would you get a tritium watch for that cheap?
