Mark Henry is correct as their respected finishers have their opponents head to hit the mat it will take trust and confidence to perform the moves. Plus with the Undertaker’s chokeslam lot of times he always has his other hand to help keep his opponents safe during the move. Along with Triple H before he does the spine buster he always makes sure his opponents land safely. The Undertaker will always be my favorite wrestler.

The problem with Hogan is, when he was young and in the thick of his career, he knew where he was going in life. When he got older and he was no longer the top drawing power for the promotion he worked for, he never seemed to handle that well. I grew up watching his entire career. Hogan either couldn't stand the fact that his greatest time in his career had come to the end, or he didn't recognize it. He always thought of himself as the elite best of all time. Now in order to keep the camera on, he would rather tell bs to have something to say, then to let his years in the business remain golden. He really does bring himself down a notch by doing this. He really doesn't know what else to do with himself. Instead of going on with crap like this, he would have been an excellent person to make his older years reporting on the current talent. Stone Cold Steve Austin is a prime example of that. Stone Cold takes his golden years for what they were and now he contributes to the business in other ways that doesn't ruin what he did before.

And sadly companies like WWE, and in the past WCW and TNA, have have given/keep giving him everything he wants on a silver platter, so on some level I think he thinks he can say whatever he wants purely on the fact he's Hulk Hogan and knows if he walked back into McMahons office he would still be going out to the ring as the undefeatable Legend... And that's probably the worst thing for his already fragile ego

Was never a big fan of Steve Austin in the ring, but I knew his character added some "rogue" talent to the roster. But all his works outside the ring, the man carries himself quite humbly and much like Mick Foley, it's obvious the love the sport has always been there. And for that, I have all the respect for him and it's actually made me retroactively a Stone Cold Steve Austin fan; got me looking up some of his matches.

My particular favourite lie from his is that the George Foreman Grill people originally wanted Hogan to be their spokesman, but he didn't answer the phone on time. Hogan: "You hurt my neck by holding it completely still." Literally Anyone with Minor Medical Knowledge: "That makes literally zero sense." I also gotta say, I suspect his Make A Wish claim was inspired by a need to piggyback off John Cena's actual contributions to Make A Wish.
@robertlduncan12
@robertlduncan12 2 года назад
You know Hogan was basically the Make-A-WIsh go to celebrity for the first ten years of the organization, right? When he got the award for reaching whatever milestone it was in 1994 after he had switched to WCW, the WWF started a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish on their own show. The only five celebs with over 200 career wishes granted are Hogan, Cena, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Justin Beiber.

That makes 100% sense. What he is claiming is that taker had his head held still with his knees and his body slid down causing the vertebrae in his neck to slam together
@mattthomas1442
@mattthomas1442 2 года назад
@@spaztik7880 The problem with that is that Taker hit a tombstone on him earlier in the match holding just as tight and Hogan completely no sold it and popped back up, and the fact that Taker has given hundreds of tombstones since and nothing has happened. While not impossible I find it extremely implausible that this one time was the one that hurt an opponent.
@ayjanu
@ayjanu 2 года назад
@@mattthomas1442 Exactly. Also, if you slow the video down to 0.25x speed, and watch very carefully, the way that Hogan's hair flops just after the impact of the move, versus the angles of his head and Taker's body at that particular instant, strongly indicate that Hogan's head never directly touched Taker's knees (in other words, that there was enough of a gap for Hogan's head to pass cleanly through for that instant, if his head ever contacted Taker at all). Thanks to Taker wearing black, and Hogan's hair being almost white, it's pretty easy to spot.
