Meeting Pele was a glorious moment in my life. I was once asked what I enjoyed most after coming to America. Meeting Pele was up there with the top 3.

They reduced Pele's goals so that he could not be top scorers of all time, because he is black, but we still consider him the best of the best

I am sure all of you never heard about Eusébio Ferreira da Silva. He was black, born in Mozambique, moved to lisbon - portugal, several years before independence and become portuguese after the independence of Mozambique. Seek and wacth the 1966 (?) world cup macth between Portugal and Coreia.

King George Weah won Ballon D’or, African Footballer of the year two times, European Footballer of the year and World Best in 1995. There has never been any African player to win any title out of Africa since 1995. He was and still the only player who won the World Best without playing in the World Cup. FIFA could not give the title to anyone else because George Weah dominated the game.

Until pele’s name came up, I thought it was a list of African player. Other than pele it is an African not black list. Where is Nkono Thomas (GK) of Cameroon - probably the best goalkeeper the world has ever seen but of course whites will think it is Lev Yachine, or others.

Aged 17, Maradona couldn't get into his nation's team..even in a home World Cup. Four years later, he was the only difference in a World Cup winning squad. He made no difference. Messi Aged 17 was still on growth hormones. There is no skill Pele did not author or master..many he did for the first time. His weaker foot better than the stronger of all others. His heading abilities cannot be surpassed, neither can his touch using thighs, chest, inside and outside of either foot. Apart from over a thousand goals, Pele scored 92 first class hattricks and his three World Cups will never be matched either.

You forgot Eusebio, the mozambican player. He played at Benfica and was first player to be awarded with status in Lisbon in middle the city. Was a wine printind Eusebio. After Benfica, he played on Canada in the time the great musician, Julio Iglesias was playing in Canada as well.
