While watching animal on the theatre & when he said lick my shoe i was literally shocked & like what’s going on . Its really unnecessary and so wrong in so many levels .

I have not taken animal movie scenes seriously at all.

Animal has other problematic plots. 1. I don't the way Ranvijay flirts with Gitanjali as she was his friends sister. If anyone flirted with Ranvijays sister he may have killed him 2. Kissing and talking about sex in front of parents and children. It can not be normal or okay. Everybody should maintain decency in front of family member. However maybe it was to reflect animalistic instincts of the character as animals sex publicly. 3. Rashmika cheated her fiance for Ranbir. Undoubtedly it's very insulting for her fiance. 4. Ranvijay could torture Zoya to know her truth instead of having sex and cheating his wife. However, irrespective of gender who has come to destroy your family doesn't deserve your respect. Even if the person love you.

I still believe that whole ranbir and tripti storyline was of no use ....... I don't want to nit-pick the movie but the whole i love my father more than my life flawed .........

Well the dialogue "lick my shoe"was a bit too much but the intention can be understood when ranvijay removes his foot before she licks it and tells his gaurds to behave with her respectfully and drop her wherever she wants safely.

Laal Singh Chaddha 2022 is the remake of 1994 Forrest Gump. In Laal Singh Chaddha , he saves the Pakistani Soldier who had lost his both legs during Kargil War which garnered controversy. But in this place in the original (Forrest Gump), he actually saved Lieutenant Dan during the Vietnam War.

I have not even thought of this scene (lick my shoe) post watching becoz i was totally convinced watching this scene because from the first minute we have seen the characterisation of ranvijay and at that point after all of that happening there's ntg wrong seeing ranvijay saying that dialogue .we have seen him firing gun in the clg and that kind of character in that moment what should he say "maafi mango mujse" and getting influenced by this scene on how to respect women is totally a wrong conception if we see in the perspective of the movie we see ranvijay saying this dialogue not ranbir and after understanding the dimensions and emotions of the movie it wont influence anyone.Soo what i say is plz understand the context of the movie as Mr.Sandeep reddy Vanga said.

He is not supposed to be emulated by general public.

I may sound offending, but I think Animal scene could be defendable. The actor said, "lick my shoe", but the action was never done. Whereas there are many movies in which hero gives death threats to their counterparts and complete the action too. Sometimes women were also given threats to. This scene in particular got so much attention as, > Sandeep is a very controversial director. > The movie contained many controversial and brutal scenes. > Feminism getting too much westernised. These reasons may make the scene bit controversial but for me as an audience of Indian cinema, I don't think this scene should be a priority for criticism compared to many other scenes in multiple movies and this movie too. Opinions are welcomed.

#Bawaal I watched the film and it was insensitive at best. They both were comparing (through dialogue) their marriage problem as of equal to a couple who were put into the camps and one of them died. This comparing in itself is illogical. If we see, they in films, they were reason for their own predicament but what happened to Jews couple was not something they opted for.., they were forced into that camp, in trauma beyond their control. I was deeply disgusted and disappointed that makers didn't research for their work. I would have taken only one book (the origins of the totalitarianism; first volume) to grap the depth of the jewry problem, and and another one (The testimony of Jewish in case of Eichman) to understand the condition of Jewish in the camp. This film coming from Nitesh Tiwari, i didn't expected this kind of lousiness.

I didn't watched film animal but I have watched film lal singh chadda & I wanna say a thing about this film that.... While watching the movie from the beginning to the end I never felt something is wrong in this movie !! Talking about that kargil war scene - in the film we see the character of lal was helping injured soldiers 1/1 by picking up from war place to a safe place. & he's eyes goes on that Pakistani enemy which was also injured as a human being he decides to help him also & in the film it is clearly portrayed that lal singh chadda didn't know properly that Pakistani enemy was his enemy what lal see's is just a helpless person who is bleeding..... Every scene in the movie is justified by their correct explanations so I don't think something is wrong with this film & I liked this movie a lot 💙

Boycott of Lal Singh Chada movie was done not because of any screen but because of Aamir Khan. Even though that movie wasn't bad

I think that, that scene from Animal was like any other generic scene we see in any other Bollywood movies. It was like how some Protagonists say to his heroine or vice versa in movies that "Agar tu muzse pyaar karta hai, to apni jaan dede". But as we know that Sandeep Vanga wanted the movie to be as controversial as possible, so he said that line in that interview, that a man can do whatever he want with his woman, as to attract more wannabe dank people and so it resulted in more publicity. Atleast this is what I interpreted from it while watching the movie, and I didn't took it that seriously.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga tries to justify "lick my shoes" scene by saying that Ranvijay was angry at Zoya as she had come to kill his father and harm his family. but it would have made sense if Ranvijay had asked Zoya to lick his shoes if he had not slept with her. why did he sleep with her if he already knew her ulterior motives and if he was mad at her?
