As someone who used to be fat, it was weird for me to learn have to eat more. Figuring out what foods digest well with you is really important if you're failing to eat enough food. Making simple swaps like you said can make a big difference. I used to be so bloated all the time because I was so used to eating in a deficit (trying to maximize food volume,) but after making just a few simple switches I feel much better. The core of my diet is the same but I swapped in white rice, nut products, higher fat dairy products and I've been feeling much less bloated and actually excited to eat food again. I appreciate how you highlight that you should do what you figure out works for you and not what others tell you is best
