If you can afford a weekend car as a toy and you live in London then paying one ULEZ charge a week isn’t an issue. I happily pay. You can insure them as classics so save way more than you pay for ULEZ

I have various cars, and one of them is a Peugeot 406 coupe 3L V6 manual 194cv de begin with, and it's still an absolute joy to drive and look at! I'd have one of these over the Fiat coupe, who is really like Marmite, you either love it or hate it!

Favourite 90s car is the 306 GTi-6 (or Rallye) all day. That said, there are a lot of contenders for a close 2nd place. Ignoring the huge list of obvious super/hypercars (Diablo, F1, XJ220, etc), I'd be looking at a 405 T16, Viper, Escort Cosworth, Skyline GT-R (R32, 33 or 34), RS2, Lotus Carlton, 190E Evo 2, Venturi Atlantique and and GT1 homologation like the CLK GTR or GT-One.
