I have stopped all other BPH medicines suck as Flowmax for example. tadalafil is really helpful indeed and of course the side effects are definitely desirable too! I usually have a Cialis tablet for breakfast, one for lunch, then another for dinner. There are no side effects so far but I am having some problems closing the shower door.
Thanks for the info, going to try 5mg daily for 1 month as had ED issues on and off for a while. Full bloods done and only thing flagged is cholesterol on high side so working on that too. On full hormone therapy as had pituatry removed 30yrs ago. No known reactions too these drugs on the manufacturers info sheets. Have you had any other pituatry patients try cialis at all?

I'm taking daily Cialis (5mg) prescribed by Uro because I'm on TRT . This dosage doesn't help all that much with ED, but Sildenafil does. I'm wondering is it's safe to up the daily dosage of Cialis on "game day" and return to the 5mg in a couple of days?
So cialis does work when you take it on “game day” like you say, but the best way would honestly be to up the dosage a bit and just keep it like that. Cialis works best as an “always in your system” type of thing. It’ll basically make things work better when the time comes vs sildenafil will just make things work instantly regardless of the circumstances, if you know what I mean. 10-15 mg a day of cialis would be very unlikely to cause side effects, especially if 5mg a day didn’t cause side effects. Plus your blood pressure will come down a bit and increased blood flow will help when exercising.

I have trouble with Cialis giving me diarrhea and stomach upset even at low dosage. Is there anyway I can rectify this side effect or will it go away on its own if I take it for a while? It does help ED but not in the mood with stomach upset. Viagra does the same for me.

Hi Ken, it is safer to use 4 tablets of 5mg (ie 20mg) as required rather than for everyday use. Just because it has a long half life and will build up in your system if you are taking 20mg every day, if that makes sense.

Hey there, great question. No, the effects don't decrease with time with daily use of Tadalafil (Cialis). What can happen is if the underlying cause of ED worsens, eg Diabetes - then the effects of medications tend to be not as effective. Medications like Cialis aren't addictive, and you don't become dependent on them.
