Terrific job! Thanks so much, teacher, for bringing up this important topic about the correct use of prepositions! It's really interesting, because I'm sure every English language learner has struggled for some time, and may still be, to attain that goal... And, this is because of the confusion they cause when using them. I think that in order to overcome this problem, we must practise using preposions a lot, in order to get used to them, but first of all, we have to understand them, and this means to be aware of the nuances between them, especially those that are convergent in meaning. Hope this helps, and finally my score is: 8 out of 10.

@@EnglishTestBlog Hello, dear teacher! Well, I had 2 mistakes related to: the 2nd question ( where I opted for IN instead of ON), and the 7th one ( where I went for IN" rather than ON).
@EnglishTestBlog
@EnglishTestBlog 2 года назад
Thanks for sharing, Abkero Clvr When we talk about a place where two streets join (street corner), we use the preposition on, not in. on the corner of a street In a corner of the room Question 7 A lot of learners make mistakes here. Yes, we say in the morning, in the evening, etc. However, when we talk about a specific morning, afternoon, etc. we use on, not in. For example, I prefer coffee *in the morning* . We got the news *on the morning of the wedding* .
