@@TMacVC lol, no, his kids play Basketball. LaVar never played in college or or NBA. He played on Practice Squad teams for American Football, and for the London team when the NFL tried to expand American Football horribly.
He is not a good baller but I do think he is a great father now looking back, he backed his boys and for the most part it’s paying off, Lamelo is a stud, Gelo looks like he could be a decent to good bench player, and Lonzo is criminally underrated imo and could be great in the Bulls system this year
'This week a list of every bowel movement ranked from "vegans christmas dinner" to "I think the chicken I used for that vindaloo might have been past its best and now the whole family has salmonella"'
I remember the Kevin Federline stuff being pretty decent. He played his role as a heel well and seemed to have fun with it while getting along with everyone backstage. Hows that the #1 disaster of all time?
Steve-O and Chris Pontius were one of my favorite celebrity appearances over the years. The fact that Steve has been clean and sober for over 10 years now is incredible. He took a beating from Umaga that night...
Its also a good pub quiz question for the characters of which film appear on the official music video of All Star? Fuck you Shrek, Mystery Men walked so you could run.
Plastered AND high, by Steve-O's own admittance. He's got a video on his channel talking about all of it. But, if we're being honest, him cackling like a jackass after taking a move like that works with Jackass's sadomasochistic image.
That story is right on his RU-vid channel. The way he talks about it was funny. Looking back, Steve-O was fup and messed up all the way. Now he is a different person.
In Germany Raw is broadcasted on Wednesdays, because it has to be dubbed and cut into a 2 hour show (because they have only a 2 hour timeslot). Thus they have to cut some tings out, like boring matches like Titus ONeil vs Apollo Crews or what ever was going on then. The Lavar Ball Segement in 2017 never made it to german television, which is saying something, since it was the opening half hour or so. I only found out about this a week later or so and wondered what YT Channels and the bout meant, when they referenced the "Baller Segment". What does that mean? That segement was so bad (and pointless) that they rather showed some boring Titus ONeil Matches than this.
"Former basketball great" Lavar Ball never made a college basketball team or the NBA, and that was the point. His 3 sons are pro basketball players and this was when Lonzo had just been drafted by the LA Lakers.
Got busted for writing checks to hookers as a leader of men, then went on to host the Jerry Springer show. I can definitely imagine worse ways to live.
The whole back and forth he had with Rollins was great though, especially when Seth crashed the Daily Show to threaten him. I am however extremely biased, John is one of my favorite comedians ever.
I don't know if puppets can be considered "celebrities", but for the most part, I loved the Muppets guest hosting. Especially the backstage meeting between Sheamus and Beaker, where they acted like family.
I grew up near Baltimore and Art Donovan was a Hall of Fame football player for The Baltimore Colts. He was revered in Baltimore and owned Valley Country Club north of Baltimore after retirement in 1962. After retirement, "Fatso" made his way around places like The David Letterman Show and Johnny Carson. Donovan was a blunt and usually hilarious Bronx native. But having Art Donovan near WWF is beyond me.
Did you really refer to LaVar Ball as a former basketball great? I mean he’s an entertaining man and a great father and role model for his kids but he was AT BEST averaging 10 and 10 in pickup games at the gym.
Maybe these appearances sucked, but it's remiss to omit the fact that Dr. Ken and Kevin Federline both ate sh!t and took it like champs. MGK probably took the best non-wrestler bump ever.
steve-o apparently wasnt told what to do at all, he didnt realise that he needed to not move or he would get kicked in the head a bunch. I think he talked about it in his hot ones interview.
In my opinion nookie should be #2. Oops, I meant Snooki. The obvious #1 to me is Lavar Ball for dancing to Dean Ambrose's entrance music, which was a disgrace to Ambrose's WWE character and storyline with the Miz.
Art might be a terrible commentator but even back then the NFL was at least national. On paper bringing in a sports great seems like typical WWE cross promotion but ooh, let him hit the ring bell or something. He could've asked Fink how much everybody weighed - and he'd have known!
my sarcasm game needs a step up because i was thinking '' i had no clue he played basketball!! ' but i thought steve-o taking that ass beating was funny, I think the dude who co-hosted the first ever R.A.W episode should have been on this list.
How about 10 Best WWE celebrity tie ins . Personally I liked when Chuck Norris was guest enforcer for the Casket Match between Yokozuna and Undertaker at Survivor Series 1994 . A lot of the heel roster came out to staredown Norris then Jeff Jarrett showed up and took a kick to the face from Norris went upside-down and did a funny little headspin .
‘Most people outside of Maryland didn’t care about Art Donovan.’ I’m FROM Maryland, and let me just say, most people outside of Baltimore County don’t care about Art Donovan
nope nope nope K-fed was great, his ring work was fantastic for what he did and Vince offered him the chance to return and to this day I still want a K-fed return ...and him with a run with the US title because why not...i love chaos and the absurd in wwe...and he'd make a better champ than Nattie or Kairon Kross
If you listen to Steve - O, who has since been sober for years, speak about the appearance he talks about it fondly but also how he screwed it up and how a lot of it was his own fault.
