Agreed, I almost stopped watching when I heard the "spin" the title of his video was putting on the majority of stories that I felt were more tragic than the result of "dumbness".
There are several of these that aren't dumb ways to die, the people did nothing out of the ordinary or the death wasn't their fault. Kind of disrespectful to the dead when you call them dumb and they did nothing to deserve it.
I don’t think he’s calling the people dumb. He uses the word dumb in the duck egg description and it’s more like saying, what a fluke! All he did was eat a duck egg. Someone else goes for a swim. It’s not the way we usually use the word dumb. It’s more like ordinary events that led to death
Wow...13 years old and permitted to drink alcohol in South Africa. We had to steal it from our parents at that age which usually ended up with every one getting grounded.
I live in Florida, where the brain eating amoeba is well known. Typically it is only when the water of lakes and ponds gets very hot. The amoebas only live near the bottom of still waters and become very active when the deeper waters are over 80°F. Swimming or diving deep in lakes or ponds when the weather is very hot and the water is warm is very risky. Usually, warnings are posted near lakes when the waters become that warm. As long as the waters are cool, you’re pretty safe. Rivers, steams and creeks are not at risk, especially those that are spring fed. The waters are too cool for the amoebas to become activated. I also believe that you’re risk is considerably higher if you stir up the dirt, mud or sand at the bottom of still bodies of water, releasing the amoebas from the dirt where they live. It’s no joke and the symptoms of being infected are very similar to a stomach flu. Unfortunately, you must recognize it early and seek medical treatment, but most people assume they caught the flu and don’t seek help until it is too late. The amoeba can kill a person within 48 hours, so you can see why it is so deadly, especially to children, who have weaker immune systems. People think they can let the flu run it’s coarse, but after a couple of days, finally go to the hospital. If you’re in the south and come down with flu after swimming in a lake, pond or other still water body, seek immediate medical attention. Do not let it run it’s coarse before seeking help. It’s not worth the risk. That amoeba can kill very fast.
@roarofwolverine, I want to know when people are foolish enough to get to close to the water an get eaten by a gator by THEIR OWN ACTIONS do they kill the gator or relocate it?
@@RoarOfWolverine Thank you for your answer, it's to bad the gators have to pay with their lives because of the ignorance of humans treading in their territory
@@don-tl6hu Amen. Any time I see someone throwing food at a gator, I have to try to explain that to them. I tell them if they love our wild gators, please don’t contribute to their demise by making them friendly to people. I understand that it is just a human want to feed animals, but if they want to feed gators, they can go to an attraction, like Gatorland, where they can feed the gators all they want, since they spend their entire life in captivity. The parks even encourage feeding the gator by selling raw hotdogs to toss at the alligators. I love watching wild gators and I hate to see them destroyed, especially the really huge ones. They’re the ones most likely to kill someone because someone fed them.
Hey I'm from Oklahoma and we have our share of dangers including amoebas(rare). We have this thing we do where we just let people be stupid and let nature take it's course😉
Potassium does regulate your heartbeat and too much or too little can cause heart attacks. It is possible that the guy who died shortly after a workout had too much potassium in his system. I have know people hospitalized for having too much and others for having too little. It is more common than you think. Too much of anything, even the things that are supposed to be good for us can be deadly.
I heard of a woman who died when she slied to the balcony of her airbnb to celebrate a goal of her favourite team! She under estimat her speed slided hover the railing and plumated to her death 5 stories bellow!
The first guys wife described him as 'directionally challenged'....Ok so right off the bat, we need to let someone know about our plans to go exploring at Mesa Verde National Park. I mean from the description that gave of that place, this ain't like going to Walmart!
Where I live a man left a bottle of vodka overnight outside temperature was -50 C the next morning he straight up chug the bottle he was found dead at his home week later doctors his body they said it's like the man had severe damaged to his esophagus and digestive track similar to dry ice
Whoa, stories like that, and both of my parents used alcohol to drown their sorrows for many many years each; as for me, I briefly played with spirits in college (the drinkable ones) but never to the point where I liked the taste of it as much as the man in your story did! Then I went through a cider phase, and now I have a few beers every now and then. Those two adult bevs don't burn your throat like hard liquor does.
The ambulance crew should have been charged with manslaughter for not doing their jobs and let a person die because of their incompetence and never allowed to be in the medical field again in any manner.
They do know what happened in #7 she was in her yard gardening, when her dog got stuck or something like that. Then after she got her dog she slipped and fell into the pond. Causing her to fall to her death it was sad when I heard about it, I live in Florida and I’ve seen a few gators. However it’s not like the movies and internet or tv portrays.
Yes, I saw the story elsewhere too, was walking the dog tho, not gardening. she tried to save her little dog from the gators. Almost won too, but slipped back into the water… right on to the gators… I worked in the swamps and waterways around New Orleans they’re usually easily scared away if you can’t avoid them at your work station. So it’s not completely crazy to think of an old lady trying to shoo the gators away. I wonder why they said it was “unknown” the whole thing was caught on camera.
Oops sorry for a repeat statement I hadn't read all the comments. Yeah that's the one I saw she was walking the dog along the shore and the Gators went after the dog first and she tried to stop them there was a neighbor who was trying to call out to her to tell her not to walk so close to the water with the dog and you can actually see the gator coming closer and closer to them
a few of these weren't caused someone's mistake, but terrible luck.. like the roller coaster, Alligator, and hiking on a mountain in summer. I mean, what are the odds that the glacier would break off in a matter of a few hours exactly
🇵🇭 Years ago, some teenaged kids, prominent kids in a condo were having a small party. One kid, he sat on the ledge of the balcony. And by the time he wants to move out, he got outbalanced and fell 9 storeys down. Its on the news here. He's the son of a well known family here in the Philippines. Sad but True.
Sanex From South Africa, leave nearby the place teen, were killed m so shocked that the story made it to the list...as it was a truly tragic Death....Big Fan of the channel
🇵🇭 5:50 I think this is on the news, where an Old woman rescued her dog or so. Then the Alligator clamped on her and dragged her to the pond. A neighbor saw her and tried to rescue her with a Pole stick, but the Bad alligator dragged her to the bottom. When police arrived, they found the old woman already dead and had teeth marks on her. Watched that on the news.
That's why I don't swim or wade in streams, ponds or lakes. I heard of people losing all their limbs from Amoebas or getting their brains eaten. It's the chlorinated pool for me!
7:02 are we just gone skip past the fact that these kids were 13-17 yrs old drinking at a tavern???? What in the blood soaked phuck is goin on with the world? These fools prob all died from alcohol poisoning. Also….i wonder if this was intentional… This is so suspicious
it will be international, drinking laws are much more relaxed outside of U.S. for example in my country there is no legal minimum drinking age as long as the alcohol is supplied by a parent/guardian responsibly (they don't give too much and watch them drink). oh i see you said "intentional" yeah it sounds like it, adults who drink know exactly what high concentrates in short amounts of time do to people, i think they wanted the teens to get totally drunk for their own entertainment, i just think the adults have no idea about alcohol poisoning and how some people react different to alcohol than others, especially if it's their first time.
The title is clickbait and in some cases even inappropriate because the majority didn't die because they were dumb neither in a dumbest way but simply from natural causes like the guy from gym who had a heart arrest, so it's kind of a disrespect to put such cases into the list of dumbest ways to die.
Someone splain me why the one site is called mesa Verde.obviously sand coated thirst inducing location ..when Verde literally means green.? Just curious
Gosh!….. eggs on display were all chicken eggs, brown, white etc…… Again use of un- researched library pics by these oh so common morbid ‘Tube surfers making it appear as if it’s all their own revelation! I shouldn’t even comment as soo many sensible see through this charade and don’t even bother to comment :-). However, happy to be your 129th….. Hope that earns you 2 cents!
Gators gator they aren't vicious.. don't dodder around the water ways when you Know the gators live there n you can't really outrun them.they hit surprising speeds..they aren't lazy they are effective
Why do people go beside the ponds where there are alligators? Are they nuts? It can't be a surprise to the person who lives in Florida that there are alligators in ponds.
Birds are clever enough to stay out the lack of oxygen air! Does the ever so superior human, 🤣nah let's die up on the mountain cuz we are brave! Stupid is more like it!
Swimming in Missouri is not accurate. Use twice said that this man who lived in Missouri. And who died in Missouri? Because that's where he was treated actually was swimming in Iowa. So let's get it straight. Get the miba in the right place. Look at the other comments. At least get it right. I get so tired of these things that people bait with.
i would say choosing Euthanasia is a smart way to die, to ask for ones life to be ended instead of living a life of pain and agony/ family asking the life support machine to be turned off if their family member patient is going to be in a vegetative state, in a long coma state and hospital bound for the rest of their life...there's more
"Incompetence of the ambulance crew." In all fairness, they can't make you go to the hospital. If the ambulance crew takes someone that doesn't want to go, it's called kidnapping. They can tell you how dangerous it is if you don't go to the hospital, but if someone still doesn't want to go, you can't make them.
#4 - How many doses of the COVID vaccine/boosters did he get? Heart failure is a well documented side effect at this point, after all, including in otherwise healthy young people.
Americans are stubborn and we just haaaaaaad to be “unique” and use a different a measuring system. Exercising our “independence” to make things difficult hahaha
@@GlenrsiThe US, Myanmar and Liberia are the only ones who don't use metric. The UK uses both. And all medical/science measurements use metric, even in the US.
@@ccc8647’s called, having global audience. Why do idiots always have to blame everything on America and associate us with some type of negative word? Especially some American citizens. You may be stubborn And unreliable but we are not all like that. Why do u live in a country that u like to publicly💩 on? We don’t wanna be stubborn and keep u here if u don’t wanna be. Bounce!
Duck egg woman should sue herself for stupidity...and if u lived in SA you would know in townships where these kids got drunk is nothing out of the ordinary cos that's the norm and they don't care
First of all there is no such thing as climate change. Secondly you don't know why that 22 year old weightlifter died by now? Really? Did you forget about what people foolishly did for the last 2 years believing that the nineteen was real? What did they take willfully ? Think.
