Varg's strum patterns always kinda stood out to me too at such an early part of this genre, maybe that was just my lack of expanding at a younger age.. anyways. Cool video! Can't wait to try these out in some B tuning
lets be honest, early black metal isnt that hard to play. If you can master power chords. youre sweet. In saying that though, early Black Metal is a great starting off point to getting some metal guitar fundamentals and techniques.
Justice Robinett I actually already play guitar and have been playing for 7 years and frankly the only album I’ve listened to by Burzum is Hvis lyset tar oss..... Also I’m already kind of aware of Varg and how he thinks and don’t agree with the majority of it because I can actually think for myself..... also I can’t tell if your joking or being serious so I just want to clarify I’m not upset 😂.
@@gageclark2390 yes and no lol 🤣 but to answer your question non sarcastically. No, I can't name a single challenging burzum song friend. Much apologies lol
Tfw youve only been playing for a month and even these are to hard. Ive been trying to play power chords for a couple days now and i think my fingers are just to retarded. Barre chords are completely off the table. Hopefully i randomly get better at some point because trying to learn to play this instrument is depressing.
Really appreciated! Any chanche you'll ever do a lesson for Dark medieval times by Satyricon? It's my favourite song and i feel like tabs on internet got some section wrong
Greetings Simon, your channel for analyzing tracks on black metal is the best that I have seen, thank you for this work. It is possible to disassemble burzum - alfadenz in one of the following tracks? I will be very grateful
