Take extra plastic bags from the airport so next time you can put all your toiletries in them before you go to the airport because you do not want to be wasting ten minutes doing that in the airport when you’re already late😑🙄.
Mom to Mom- you are doing amazing work and raising beautiful children! This summer I took my kids to the park and the sweetest girl asked my kids to play and was so incredibly kind and playful with my daughter who has special emotional needs. (Spoiler alert- it was your daughter!). We are a family blessed by adoption, I found you years ago thru your adoption videos. You are such a blessing to my family! ❤️❤️❤️

If in case I lose my luggage or if we end up staying overnight for obvious reasons, I pack my necessities in my carry on and personal items. Silk pillowcases, pyjamas, change of clothes, comb, scalp massage brush, all kinds of things I need or want that’s not going in my checked bag.
I always get three things: I always get a light sweater/T-shirt sweater, a key chain, and a sticker for my computer. If one of the things is unavailable I get something similar to that thing missing. If I can’t find a T-shirt hoodie, I get a crew sweatshirt, or a regular tshirt. If I can’t find a computer sticker then I get a patch or I’ll find a cute sticker on RedBubble or Etsy, and I’ll find a keychain on amazon or I’ll have my sister make me on me from a picture if she’s not busy/stressed. I try to get as many as I can if possible, or I’ll find something similar to it if necessary.
Tip: pack extra pair of underwear in case you are stranded for another day because of a flight cancelling/luggage problem or even just because when you take a long flight accidents happen. (Eg. Someone threw their whole coke on me and the waterproof seat created the perfect pool for my underwear to get soaked. Also extra beauty tip: pack makeup remover wipes and a face mask. It makes your skin super refreshed for your trip and it makes the whole flying experience more luxurious and fun.

As a dude in his late 20s, I love to rock those cargo pants and shorts, I just love them for the amount of pockets they have. I don't need to pack a lot of stuff. Just my electronics, chargers, shower and teeth brushing supplies, they go in my backpack carry on, and my clothes in my luggage. That is all I need. I carry all my immediate need items in the pockets of my cargo pants/shorts. I usually buy food and water at the airport or train station. But yea, if you ever see me travel, I will be wearing an outfit with as many pockets as possible on it.

My travel bags are in my closet. I keep all my bags hung up simply because I don't have shelf space so I know where it is and I don't have to go searching. I have a couple different bags that I use: I have a floral print backpack from Ardene, I have a drawstring backpack and a couple other ones. All my bags are somewhat multicolored so it's easier to spot. In addition to my backpacks, I keep my beach bags, and other bags I would need to go away with me in the same location. I have my flip-flops directly underneath in a bucket as well as my swimming goggles and my waterproof phone protector in case I would like to take underwater pictures. I have yet to try it but it's there so I know to bring it. What I normally pack in my carry on are my phone, a book or my Kobo, a notebook and pen, gum or mints, hand sanitizer, tissues and a word seek.
If possible its good to have citizenship in more than one country. I'm Czech-American so when traveling around the states I use my U.S. passport, when traveling around Europe I use my Czech passport. Makes czechpoints (see what did there) easier to go through.
I have all the stuff I have to take while going to security in one of those mesh bags so I can take it out all at once. Especially because I mostly only travel with carry on
