On the guidelines they have not mentioned anything else but part time phd is offered to working professional and an NOC is mandatory to do the same. Wether contractual will be considered or not will depend on the institute u are applying to.

Without NOC a part time PhD is not possible neither recommend when you are in a government job. However , I am personally guiding other army men who have got NOC for phD.b

So coursework varies from university to university. Many institutions keep the coursework only on weekends , but there are some who insist on 6 months stay in the campus. So completely depends on the institute. But yes complete online coursework is not allowed by UGC

By regular you mean full time PhD ? If Yes then there is no ethical way to do both together. You are allowed to only pursue a part time PhD while in a full time job.

Mam, one question is that suppose when we apply for a PhD we are working in one company from where we get NOC but when we change the company then again we have to get the NOC, ALSO if they do not provide NOC then what should be done mam?

Initially when applying noc is mandatory. Later most universities don't ask much. But yes at the time of admission it is a must. However it is always advisable to inform ur company about ur PhD even if u don't want a noc .

For admission in Part Time PhD NOC is a mandatory document. Coursework on the other hand varies from university to university. Could be for complete 6 months or they can call you for only weekends.

Hello ma'am. Is a change in job, during the course of pursuing a part time PhD, permitted? Or is it mandatory to continue working in the institution where we got the NOC from? Also, can a part time PhD be converted into a full time PhD after a year or so, if required?

Yes you can change your jobs while pursuing a part time PhD . You can simply take a new noc from your new employer. Only IISc banglore is one institute that I have come across till now , that does not allow you to change your job. Apart from IISc no other institution has anything against it. You can do a PhD like any other employee person . Just make sure ur organisation is ok with you doing a PhD . So this video what ever it says is applicable to you too
