10 Fake Masters Officially Getting Destroyed by Real Fighters | Fake MMA | Fake Fighters
Meet No Touch Masters (Fake Masters) versus Touch Masters (Real Fighters).
Do you see a lot of martial arts movies, where they throw a person away with just a slight touch and sometimes without even touching? But all of this craziness is done in movies only, some maniacs bring it to the next level. Meaning they do it in the real world and have real-time students, but since they don’t have real skills, so they just fake it. So, let’s start the list of Fakers

its because of the sensei /senpei mentality in asia. its the same at work. many older people just have higer ranks because they are older. they will have a lot of underlings who follow what they do even when its complete bs. even when younger people can do it better. i believe thats why so many young people follow these clowns in asia. its because they still believe that if they are old, they somehow have mastered something. from early age they get thought that they have to respect their elders and that everyone older than them is automatically right. even when the young people can do something better at work they still have to do it like their supervisor does it, even when its inefficient. thats why i believe that many of these so called masters really believe they can fight for real. its because they get constant reinforcement from their underlings. its like a incompetent boss will never get criticized in asia and the underlings give him positive reinforcement..so these boss will think he does good work.

@@kagyu1 It's sad to hear that interest in traditional martial arts in China has plummeted. There is no substitute for sparring. You just have to do it in class, and then you have to spar people in other styles. I see more Wing Chun in early Mike Tyson than I did in those videos. The Chinese have been reluctant to teach non Chinese and that is still a problem even after Bruce Lee. But it is still dumbfounding. It's a shame. The good Chinese techniques are abundant, but no one seems to know how to apply them.

@@theosalvucci8683 it’s the best thing to happen to Chinese Martial Arts. It ends up the reason things were “secret” is because they were fake based on myth like the non existent southern Shaolin. Now that the reckoning has come , it’s been a national loss of face and the fake stuff is being tossed aside along with fake training . Many of the styles were made up to cash in on popular street novels in the 20’s. People are now training seriously. Sparring seriously. The Shaolin monks train to entertain, not to fight.
@theosalvucci8683

@@kagyu1 I know. But in my mind, there are an abundance of good techniques within these styles and it only takes someone who really knows how to take what appears to be dance and translate it into something that is effective. I once went to a Dan Inosanto workshop and he was talking about what is flowery. He did a move in the air which did look flowery, explaining how it was a throw. I knew the move. OK, it wasn't Chinese. It's a Kali throw called "the Sail", but I used to get the move in during sparring, and I was mediocre at best. I think the same is true of a Chinese move like "ride the tiger". It's not the technique, it's the teacher.

I think that most Japanese martial arts are useful because they have very strong traditions both mentally and physically which have been successfully exported by founding masters. Muay Thai and kickboxing are also solid. Chinese martial arts on the other hand in MHO may also be quite effective in China. But the export of of those has been much less successful. Abroad, it's quite rare that they are supported by official leagues, and their traditions are much less transmitted in a genuine way. Meaning they are often watered down...lack of quality control. Still, a excellent traditional boxer remains hard to beat.

Many years ago, I worked for a small city law enforcement agency. As part of our yearly mandatory defensive tactics training, we were introduced to "ground fighting". It was basic jiu jitsu principles/tactics designed to help us defend ourselves if we ever found ourselves on our backs during a scuffle. Our instructor was a pompous narcotics lieutenant who bragged of his skills and many accomplishments that justified him being our sensei for the day. I felt as if I were in the presence of a skilled master. During the training, we paired up and practiced the techniques. I recall a portion of the training as having the goal of escaping from a bottom position while mounted from above. My partner was a polite, early 20's stocky, physically fit corrections officer. He obviously took it easy on me as I was old enough to be his father. The instructor needed a partner temporarily and my boy volunteered to spar with the instructor. Though my old mind cant dredge up the specific details of the bout, suffice it to say, the young lad beat the instuctor so soundly it required his transport to the hospital. I hate to admit it but I enjoyed the show. The kid didnt mean to hurt him, it just happened.

It's not only that he was up against a legend, it was from a time before MMA existed or before it had really developed into something useful and well known. They really were figuring out which style was most effective against what back then, the winners became favourites in MMA's arsenal. The world becoming a much more connected place also helped. Fully agree though that had no place on this list. Xu Xiaodong I think the #2 fight also wasn't so much just visiting China, he was born there. He had death threats from the Chinese government and his social credit score is about as low as it can be, which is very limiting on what you can do in China, he can't use public transport including planes or rent property for example because he showed traditional Chinese martial arts to be a joke and the CCP didn't like that... So he defo belongs on the list but I don't think enough credit was given to just how much he sacrificed to expose charlatans who cheated people out of money and often ran their own cult like group. The guy just loves MMA and wants to bring more of it to China and this is the resistance he gets.

traditional Chinese based martial arts are a discipline, and in most senses impractical and unfit for purpose for modern purposes. The "gongfu masters" of China, as well as the leaders in some Karate styles, focus on form over function. This serves the purpose of preserving the original forms, but without imparting the crushing level of conditioning that was traditionally expected (pre-20thC), it is not practical. Styles such as Wing Chun were developed by monks who had legitimate need for defending themselves in rural areas where policing wasn't really a thing and bandits were common. However most practitioners of bulshido today do not understand the importance if conditioning. I moved when I was a teenager, and there was nothing in the new area like the Goju Ryu I had been learning, so I went to the nearest dojo and ended up learning Kyo-kushin. In 9 months not a single sparring session, but they did knife work and disarming firearms.😂

The gracies REFUSED an open invitation to fight Benny the Jet Urquidez who said anytime, anywhere I'll fight anyone of you. But they knew he would most likely knock any of them the hell out. The gracies finally beat Sakuraba, but royce popped positive for steroids after their fight, and since the mma world kisses their asses, he was only fined but kept the win. The other gracies that beat Sakuraba were young and fought an old, hammered from years of fighting. But they won by decision. I'm currently a Wing Chun practitioner, my Sifu went to a bjj school to see what they were about. They asked him if he wanted to spar.and told him he could do whatever he wanted. Their top guy squared off with Sifu and got punched square in the face when he tried to move in. The guy was not happy, but said he was still welcome to fight however he wanted. @@Johnsmith-pd3uk said _"You mean a living fraud? Watch Sakuraba destroy him and 4 other gracies"_ That fight you were watching was from the Gracie challenge. They used to allow anyone to walk in to their dojo and fight them on video and if they won, they keep the video. They challenged all comers. They even put the challenge in playboy magazine which eventually led to the opening the UFC. Gracie literally took on all challengers, he won the first few UFCs and we found out right then in there what really worked in real situations. He fought Ken Shamrock who was King of Pancrase and choked him out and Gracie was outweighed by 20 to 40 pounds by most fighters. It was only after about 7 to 10 years of domination by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners they were literally feared at that time... Everyone wanted to beat them. Near 2000 - which was 7 years later is when Sakuraba the Gracie killer went after all the Gracies. 7 years of domination at a time when people were not sharing martial arts knowledge between clubs. The term mixed martial arts... comes from people wanting to beat the Gracies. They all started to learn BJJ and some form of ground, and started coming after the Gracies learning multiple arts. So the Gracies caused everyone to start to cross train, which is the birth of the term mixed martial arts... Having a solid ground (usually BJJ, wrestling, Sambo) having Muay Thai or Kickboxing for stand up and then wrestling and Judo to take someone down. So as people started to cross train and the words mixed martial arts was coined ... they came after the Gracies and the Gracies started to lose. This was near 2000 - 7 years later dominating all martial arts. But because the Gracies believed that Gracie Jiu Jitsu was the end all and be all... they never cross trained like everyone else had to. So wrestlers started to come up and learned BJJ and then started dominating BJJ practitioners. And then they got really good at striking. This was the beginning of the end for the Gracies and Sakuaba (the Gracie killer) had really good wrestling and good BJJ AND he also had stand up, which is what he used on the Gracies. Sakuraba took out at least 5 Gracies that I knew of... broke one Gracies arm and he wouldn't tap in the fight... giving them some of their first losses. So you are missing a bit of history John

Bro the second figh was Royce Gracie…. He always looked like he was getting the crap beat outta him. Two seconds later someone was tapping out! Him and his family are legends! Any MMA fan owes it’s existence to the Gracie’s.

Let's forget to mention that most of these masters seem to be in their 60s trying to defend themselves against experienced professional fighters in their 20s.

All i know is that Doug Duggart’s Brazilian Ju Jitsu (the master of the renowned Tackle and Grapple technique) is legit! While i didn’t make it to the advanced levels, my girlfriend did and she now spends most of her time there. Heck, she even does all-nighters in his dojo learning the ancient secret techniques that can only be taught at night! For anyone that is interested, his Dojo is located in the High Point Mini Mall just east of the Pizza Barn, two doors down from Kyle’s Discount Ribs and Furniture!

Ah yes this reminds me when I was once quite inexperienced and I challenged some of my school companions to a fight. To be truthful I was humiliated and my arrogance kept getting the better of me. Ever since then I have gotten much better in martial arts. Remember people true skill comes from hard work, dedication and honest effort. Not arrogance, over confidence and thinking one is invincible. There is no such thing as invincibility only unmatched skill during a battle.

Proper technique plays a factor, obviously this is true, since MMA became a thing, there is no question which fighting style's are the most effective.

I beat up a bunch of classmates when I was in middle school and high school because they thought I was easy money, little did they know that I had been practicing martial arts and fighting since I was 5. It's never good to underestimate anyone no matter who they are, you never know how good someone is until you fight them.

It might be where I grew up. But in my opinion, the most important lesson a kid can learn is that 'your not a good fighter' Nobody is a good fighter before their first fight, yet everyone thinks they are, including myself. That confidence is dangerous, and can lead to cruelty. Luckily, I had a good friend who I would play fight with, and I found out that I actually had no idea what I was doing, but I wasn't harmed. But it definitely did me a favor.

Excellent video. As a REAL Martial Artist with 40 years experience, it's always great to see these posers getting checked. I'm from New York and like to give a nod to Grand Master Moses Powell who did the same things to fakes back in the 80's and 90's. Sad these fakes get a plethora of students that admire them and teach things that will only get them hurt or killed on the street. That false sense of security is a bad thing.

@@tonynomikos3702 I agree 100% Tony, but it's simple. You tell the same lie enough times you believe it to be true! Some of the clips were horribly embarrassing. Most Green belts would take those clowns out!

Those "masters" were thinking that if they fake it long enough an even less of a master would say they're fighting an island drink instead of a Thai martial arts fighter.
