you made my day. At 101. I am the kid sitting to the left of Vince's head with the white/red Texas Tornado shirt. A quakeburger landed next to my foot too
The LT/Bam Bam match is very underrated. It's no masterpiece, and certainly didn't play out like a main event match, but it's quite impressive that Bam Bam was able to put on an entertaining match with a man who'd never wrestled a day in his life. And to his credit, LT was able to hang with Bam Bam pretty well. It's light years ahead of John Cena vs. Kevin Federline or Roddy Piper vs Mr. T.
Idc what anyone says I enjoyed the Bam Bam LT match. I loved when Bigelow made his entrance and threw his jacket down and ran after salt n pepa on the stage that still makes me crack me
That Benoit/Owen tag team angle stings so much when you remember that they would eventually have had to break up and potentially have a goddamn match with each other in WWF. Christ, it would have been an epic.
Nash claimed on the Stone Cold podcast that the Clique wanted HHH just from watching his matches as Terra Rysing without any one of them having ever met him
The Diesel vs Shawn Michaels match was actually really good and I think Diesel was underrated the problem was most of his biggest moments happened on live shows instead of tv and it wasn’t his fault he had to wrestle mable
Will there be a series of vids like this for more events? I've seen the KOTR, Summer Slams and Mania ones. Maybe Rumble next? I can't get enough of these.
this year's wrestlemania card is looking good Aries vs Neville HHH vs Rollins styles vs Shane Goldberg vs lesnar Orton vs Wyatt reigns vs undertaker balor vs Joe???(maybe) mixed tag can go both ways horrible to good baron Corbin vs dean Ambrose Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho
Aries vs Neville - Awesome HHH vs Rollins - Awesome IF Rollins wins Styles vs Shane - Incredibly forced and shows how thin the Smackdown roster is; will only pay off if Shane gets someone like Angle or Nakamura to wrestle for him, maybe even Benjamin Goldberg vs Lesnar - Could be good but Goldberg can't perform past 5 minutes Orton vs Wyatt - Awesome if Wyatt wins, makes no sense if Randy wins Reigns vs Undertaker - could be okay IF and ONLY if Reigns turns hell. If Strowmann interferes or if Reigns wins clean then it shows how disconnected WWE are from their fans Balor vs Joe - Awesome Tag Matches - Clusterfuck Corbin vs Ambrose - could be good, could be eh Charlotte vs Sasha vs Bayley - could be good if Sasha wins or Bayley retains
I was there,Bret Hart is still my favorite of all time,I liked Jeff Jarrett back then too.I also saw the debut of the Undertaker at Survivor Series '90. Hartford needs a new arena now
The Taylor fact is rather funny. You have an NFL'er barely being able to stand after a WWE match, and you have a WWE guy in Lesnar talking about how tough NFL training camp was (having not made it through).
Late 94 was when i started watching.. i was only 10 but i quite enjoyed 95 when i was a kid. it was good fun. Only thing i didn't like about WM 11 was the opening match. And i always thought Owen and Yoko were a weird random team slapped together, it didn't work.
Bruh...for that Bam Bam money I would've done a buried alive match, casket match, whatever, LT was not a por wrestler of course but no one can deny he was a beast and a great athlete is not like James Elsworth going over lol
I am really enjoying these videos guys. Keep 'em coming! :-D P.S If you ever need more ideas for content, I'd watch the shit out of a similar series about the other members of the classic five PPVs.
Roman defeats Taker at WM33, turns heel, beats Lesnar for the title, forms a corporate-ish stable w/ HHH, KO and Joe and becomes the top heel on the roster. Now I'd love to see that...
You guys should do a top 10 just unfair moments in wwe history like the ending to rock Austin mania 17 or reigns having to defend the title in the Royal rumble ( not really unfair for Roman ) lol but you catch my drift think it would be cool
They didn't sign Benoit in 95 even though he had dark matches managed by Ted Dibiase?! God damn Vince! Thank God he corrected that mistake later although and unfortunate correction too
hey guys just as an idea but maybe you should do a top 10 facts you dont know or wwe doesnt want you to know about ddp or rick rude? their both going to the 2017 hof and ddp with his wwf run and ddp yoga(not the ddp yoga that saved hall and jake the snake but the ones that aired on raw) and i dont really now about rude exept him apearing on raw and wcw heat at the same night but i know you can find out more about him so just an idea :)
Diesel was nowhere near Reigns, that's revisionist history. Diesel might not have been as over as Bret, but he was over with fans. Not saying that he was the greatest WWF Champ ever, but he was over with some of the fans at least. And he did earn his stripes throughout '94, before winning the title from Backlund late in the year
CJ Bourne, thought the exact same thing! This dude is just making shit up, knowing that most people that watch these videos didn't even watch wrestling back then. Loyal WWF fans followed Diesel and Razor to WCW just one year later. No one would give 2 fucks if Roman left to TNA or anywhere else!
You guys should do a top ten for Best Wrestling Documentaries since Kevin Owens is getting one in July and they have a biography film for Paige and her family coming up.
A man I knew, once said," Ya professional wrestlers are like stuntmen when it comes to their athleticism." I do not think he was fully aware of the training regimen. I knew in my teens that I could not ever be disciplined enough for this sport. L.T. just hammered that point home in this video.
Say what you will about Kevin Nash, but Roman Reigns would never have contradicted the boss cause it made his opponant look foolish. While Nash argue that him kicking out out of the super-kick made himself and Michaels look bad. If that type of booking would ever be applied to Reigns, people would hate him a lot less.
I'm not surprised Lawrence Taylor nearly collapsed from wrestling, it requires a completely different type of conditioning, much more long endurance periods with just occasional bursts of explosive activity, Football, on the other hand, is pretty much ALL explosion - 5-10 seconds of insane maximum effort followed by 5-10 minutes of no activity at all. Stick any pro-wrestler in a football match and they'd be just as screwed - They could probably handle the overall activity, but they'd just be WAAAY too slow and undynamic to keep up with the game.
