This happened about 8 yrs ago. She has 3 wonderful children all in their 30's now. 2 very bad marriages n 1 bad relationship which almost took her out. She got involved in meth n pain pills. Of course she was in total denial with me. I'm a Christian n that as of June this year, 2024, will have been living for our Lord for 41 years. I've had my ups n downs, but I'll Never turn my back on Him..ever. anyway, I PRAYED N PRAYED TEARS OF ANGUISH N PLEADING JESUS TO BRING HER OUT OF THIS. AT FIRST I WAS DEVESTATED BUT AFTER PRAYING...HE GAVE ME THE MOST CONFIDENCE I'D EVER HAD FROM HIM BEFORE. "PRAY..BELIEVING..AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE". I ALREADY HAD FAITH. Same here. But we only have one child. She's currently 44. Says she's a christian, but I can't see the fruit. I've seen the opposite. But as of current I don't know. She lives 500 miles from us. We don't get to see her. She has 3 daughters. The oldest is 22 and living with her boyfriend. I'm sure she doesn't have a relationship with the Lord. She went to Christian school K thru 12, so she knows the truth, just doing what she wants. The other one is almost 13, and has an 18 yr old boyfriend whose from a christian home. He's suppose to be a christian. They go to church. But I don't agree at all on the age thing. Not sure if she is really saved either? The 3rd one is 5 yrs old. She's attending a christian school as well. The 13 yr old attended christian school but is homeschooling through a christian based online homeschool. Hopefully with the influence of christian schooling seeds have been planted. The 22 yr old also attend Southern Westlyan University and recieved a BA in Forensic Science. Trying to get a Masters, thing she wasn't to work in counseling young children. My greatest concern is just that they will be true to God and His will. So I just keep sending up the prayer.😊

I think I have a family member that is in a Hebrew Israelites cult in Tennessee. She divorced her husband of over 20 years and says she can't be with him because he's not "covenanted". When I press her on her new belief system, she can only say "Rabbi knows the truth". She's referred me to videos that have been removed before I can watch them.

Several missionaries from this cult came through my city (Corpus Christi, TX) a few months ago. A few guys in my men’s group mentioned that they had some interactions with them. Since I had already done quite a bit of research on this group over two years ago, my pastor had me teach the men’s group about them. Fortunately, the missionaries didn’t stay in our city very long. I guess they learned that Corpus Christi means “Body of Christ” and decided to move on. 😆

They are for sure out there. In VA beach for years they scour the entrances of big box stores as you walk in. Fiercely present their views with one maybe two source citations from Revelation. There are very, very few Christian Science congregations around any more. There is one near where I live (You’re not thinking of Scientology, instead?) While there may be genuine born again believers in a SDA congregation, it’s definitely not one that I would ever recommend people going to if they were looking for a church home.

I actually was reading up on this to speak to the missionaries who come by, but thays different than speaking to a good friend. You may very likely lose the friendship. I wouldn't start the discussion unless you've really studied why and where theyre wrong using the bible. But they generally just default to it wasnt translated correctly. You cant exactly argue with someone who refuses to believe the bible is the factual word if the Lord. Most are not open to the discussion, its their whole life. Was she raised in it? I grew with many of them and ao many if the gals i knew didnt really believe but never wanted to question anything, just didnt ever want to ruffle feathers and then they just continue going to church cause its what they and their families do, if that makes sense. Just telling you my experience, praying for you to have the holy spirit help you.

The problem with trying to "save" Mormons is that their church is run better than everyone else's. They won't leave their church to join a standard evangelical strip mall church that can't produce the same results.

If that’s the case, then I gladly wear the accusation. I love having the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life! It has made me a far better person than I could have ever been without it. His plan of Salvation is absolutely perfect and glorious! My strength is through Christ and His Atonement in my daily life! If you want to understand us, then please don’t listen to the ignorant. Go to the source. Read the Book of Mormon, listen to this last General Conference (April 2024), or any General Conference, for that matter. What a privilege it was to have seen and listened to a prophet of God speaking to me! God is not dead and His Church is not dead. God speaks to men on earth through His prophets and apostles just as He did in the Old and New Testaments.
