All of these sound beautiful. I own a few on the list and POAL is on my wish list for sure. Wonderful peak into unique and not really well known perfumes. Love Fils de Joie and recently read on Fragrantica from one review , that if layered with SL Ambre Sultan, FDJ smells like OG-pre-reformulated Poison by Dior. Hmmm 🤔. I’m so curious now because I love the 90s Dior Poison EDT, which to me definitely has that dark gothic feel❤.
Love this video! Honestly there is one that came to mind when I saw “Gothic Rose” and that is Nirvana Rose. Very Goth/dark academia vibes and the best part is I found it for $16 usd. I think the original Delina is somewhat gothic too because of the incense note.
Such great minds Gabi, I'm in such a Gothic floral mood this spring. . Despite assuming I'd want my usual green pretty florals. Between Lyric Woman and Noir de Noir, I'm a Gothic by day and night 😂 Season out the window, it's the dark but tender qualities of certain scents that are working their magic. Nice to see Lolita Lempicka here 😉. Always a must for a glorious Gothic x looking forward to Sunday

Lolita Lempicka will always be my main love- it can make some people recoil though- I was wearing it yesterday and a lady said that it smelled like dry rabbit's food 🤷🏻♀️- for some reason I thought her reaction to it was hilarious A very interesting gothy scent that I think you'll love is "Moth" by Zoologist. It smells like incense, black ink and iris. Very melancholic , deep scent
My all time favorite is POAL - it's the most profound experience - and I also enjoy Agent Provocateur L'Agent - no age restrictions necessary IMHO! I need to get my nose on Serge Lutens Fleur D'Oranger - I've heard you talk about it so many times now, Gabby - and I trust your judgment!

You're my favourite channel for fragrances, and I love how much you enjoy Mugler Angel. Could you do a video about Angel-esque fragrances? I feel as if Angel stands in it's own category and is extremely unique, but unfortunately the latest reformulation has ruined this fragrance for me. Gosh, you're definitely making me curious about Fils de Joie... That one always scared me a bit; honey and green apple note mostly. Both notes can really turn into a big bess on my skin sometimes. Great picks! 😃
if I compiled some gothic florals, I would have to include Tubéreuse Criminelle (Serge Lutens). While Carnal Flower is also camphorous, it has some watery, lactonic notes that soften it whereas the Lutens is like a banshee's wail. It is also green and animalic. For the most vivacious rose that I hold dear to my heart (even over classics like Nahema), Eau de Protection (Etat Libre d'Orange), formerly called Rossy de Palma. It has a huge dose of patchouli but the rose is at once deep and radiant, with a metallic edge and spices that are fresh and dirty (ginger). It feels very complete, as the development and final dry down are rock solid.

Secret Datura by MPG is the Carmilla sent. Embodiment of classic gothic atmosphere. Black Jade Lublin is a gothic rose, Yosh Omniscent is a dark dark narcotic tuberose in the night jungle. Paco Rabanne La Nuit is vampire rockstar, Gala Loewe is true succubus scent, Musc Viloressi is a blue fog surrounding enigmatic stranger, Bois de Violette is a fairy scent.
