I fell for that as well I bought 5 and got one as a gift and I still have half a bottle of the one I already had And I'm still watching youtube videos about fragrances I need help
It's always so handy to have some cheapies that you can spray recklessly espically if you wear it often , after you shower at the end of the day or while exercising. Just doing mundane things that you may not want to spray on your more expensive fragrances 👍 Don't go crazy on the trigger & i do 8 sprays of Bentley 😂
@@UnknownChap I'm talking about all brands in general- not all flankers suck. Lol. If you want to sample some niche/expensive brands; Surrender to Chance is an amazing site. I'd highly recommend it!
I love cheapie videos! Bentley for Men, the non intense version is a great cheap fragrance as well, especially if you aren't a fan of a smokey note in your fragrances. Nice picks Ashton!!
Man, you are coming up with a lot of great content since you came back. We really apreciate the effort! Also, you seem more relaxed and loose. Keep it up!
Hey brother can you do one of these for women , I love your videos but need some help getting inside on getting fragrances for my gf and the females in my life. Thank you so much for your content
Over and above all the usual pleasantries, I'll say that it's great to have you making videos frequently again. There was a time in the middle where things had come to a little bit of halt and I was kinda worried. Glad to have you back man :)
Im not big into collecting colognes. Although I'd like to start, and I love your reviews. Very direct and explain the smells you'll experience very well.
Great job Ash! You mention one of my favorite cheap frags that's always in my rotation during fall/winter months, Raghba by Lattafa. It has great longevity and sillage, and in my opinion, a little more depth than 24 Gold. If you hunt around you can find 100 ml with a deodorant spray for around $35.
ScentStory 24 Gold is actually more a gourmand type of scent than an oud one. Very strong, but too feminine for my taste. Halloween Man Shot would be great for a 20 year old. The Bentley definitely smells like a niche scent. I sold it, because it didn't fit my personality. But the price/quality ratio is second to none. I'm missing the number one great cheapie: Nautica Voyage. Its only downfall may actually be its extremely low price. People might be scared off by that, as a cologne shouldn't be available to every man who can buy three hamburgers. Had Dior released the scent for $80 instead of Nautica, it would rival Sauvage. One evening a few years ago a woman made me wash off Herod, calling me a 'dandy,' then asked me to put on Bleu de Chanel. I wanted to troll her with Nautica Voyage, but she actually loved that one almost just as much. Women generally love Nautica Voyage. It can compete with Versace Pour Homme and Chanel Allure Homme Sport. And it's more appreciated by the general female public than all of the niche scents including Creed Aventus. Caveat: in Europe Nautica Voyage isn't available in shops, and not even in most webshops. So that definitely adds to the exclusive experience women I encounter get from it.
You rock man! Like your background music for type of vid and detailed and thorough. AWESOME! Please do. Cheap fragrance for Office Only!! Keep up the great vids!!
Best channel currently ... Very interesting picks! I'm done with niche fragrances for nnow they are just not appealing enough makes it not worth smelling different. Indie and designers for me
Haven’t been keeping up with your videos in the last 5 to 6 months and you always have great content bro, keep it up and never change. It’s real cool how you’re always on point with fragrances
Really like how detailed your reviews are. For someone who moved from the confines of the North Jersey to Florida i noticed most of my fragrances tend to be for cooler weather wear. Do you have a top 10 summer fragrances vid. Thanks in advance.
I get my 24 gold bottle a few days ago and when I tested the first time remains me a lot to Halston Amber women!! My wife owns a bottle so I campare both and yes the share some similarities!!
Love these videos, Ash! I will have to check some of these out. I have Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, and I love it. That Darjeeling Tea note if freakin bomb.
Great list Ashton I will check some of this Recently I got Mercedes Benz cologne and it's great alternative to dior cologne cheap super fresh and relaxing ,I think you should do a review for it
Great list, a lot on here you don't hear about often. My best cheapie pickups of 2018 were Guess 1981 & Banana Republic Black Walnut. Both under $20 at Marshals.
I want to love Bentley for Men Intense; the note breakdown just speaks to me, it sounds like the PERFECT fragrance for me--what should be my signature scent--so of course I bought a bottle. And it's not bad, but....it has a kind of a "foodie" note to it that just I can't shake. Doesn't smell BAD, per se, just...wrong. On my skin, it has a sort of undercurrent of pimento olives or maybe Spanish rice, or just the general "smell" of Mexican food. Again, it's not really a bad scent, but not really something I want to smell on myself. I really only smell this when I put my wrist up to my nose, so I doubt others can smell it in the air, but still I just don't like it. If not for that, this would be a fun scent that I'd proudly wear during the colder months, but that food smell just kinda puts me off.
I agree with Infinite spice having one of the best openings in general, not cheapies only! However, I find myself leaning more towards "Addictive Oriental" by Alberto Morillas, it is basically the dry down of Hermes' exclusive line, Epic Marine, great creation at the same price point, I definitely recommend it
Think I'll pull the trigger on infinite spicy. Bentley Intense is a little too boozy for me and I love dark daring fragrances. Other than that its great. Bentley for Men Black Edition is a fantastic summer fragrance.
Usually flankers don't catch on but in some cases they do. Companies do flankers rather than launch a new "stand alone" simply because the cost of marketing. Imo, I think some flankers don't catch on because they actually smell better than the original; some I've smelled almost smell niche and most people unfamiliar with niche have no idea how much better quality they are smelling. I was used to mall frags, which now all smell the same to me, until 4 years ago when I started searching for new brands and starting finding the word niche/indie. Found blogs/vlogs and plus never knew you could sample/decants which makes blind buying unnecessary. I can't even add up the wasted money I've spent over the years doing that. 🚫
Waft those notes Ash. WAFT them. lol Great selection man. Btw, whatever happened to Halloween Man Tatoo? I remember Chelsey used to like that one, but then it just kinda disappeared from....the universe. Is it still around? What would you say it smells like?
