Time distortion is my favorite and probably the most common experience for me. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing it differently or more accurately aware of it, but it's such a cool experience to listen to music and hear it slow down then speed up.

I will never forget the trip where reality just completely folded over on me. Going through a door and running led me back to the same room. Over and over again. That was some strong stuff and everything felt like a loop for so so long. Wondering if time even existed where I was and if I would make it out. Truly horrific and enlightening by the end.

@@huskytzu7709 At the point I was at- no. Like I knew I had taken acid but reality was so far just fallen apart and unraveling around me I couldnt seem to have it calm. I just had to get through this seeming loop /stage/ and then all started to fall back into place. This is why having a sitter is always great when taking large amounts and being in a safe place.

I HATE loops, the only thing that scares me away from higher doses is the loops, some people like the loops but I never have, that being said I am much more sensitive to psychedelics now and don’t need to take high doses to get where I need to get

When I first tried acid, I took 150ug with my boyfriend. We had talked about doing it for quite some time prior and did a lot of research together to make sure the psychedelic was truly for us. The experience was absolutely amazing. I learned to appreciate things I never had before and the things I already had even more. The sense of euphoria was so strong throughout the trip that I actually eventually cried because I was so happy to be in the position I was in and be with who I was with at that moment. I felt so unified with every being in the universe, as if everything had finally found balance. It was a truly beautiful experience that I will never forget.

Oh man my first LSD experience was absolutely incredible. Most spiritual experience in my entire life. I took 100 mg of 1p-lsd with my girlfriend in a beautiful forest in Vancouver Canada. And I was just floating in love and unity and I finally understand God (if you so want to call it God) or the devine out of my Christian upbringing. Time is not real. Time is not a dimension. Time is the measure progression of events. We plot it on a graph to make visualization of the progression easier. It is just a mathematical construct used to define our experience.

that is incorrect. Time is not a man made concept. It is beyond our conception, so we measure it by the passing of events. You cannot deny the existence of time. For example, near large sources of gravity or in immense acceleration, time slows down. And do not discredit this either. By sending a small particle with a half-life of 3 minutes(not sure real number, doesn't matter) through a particle accelerator, they were able to extend the half life by a minute, which would not be possible were time just a concept, and not an actual thing.

One of my favorite experiences was when i saw a sort of Aztec pattern everywhere that was functioning as a language of sorts, giving me the feeling that I was learning a deep and ancient knowledge handed down from ancestors. It felt as if I was finally understanding what I came here to learn. More beautiful than my words can possibly express. Of all my many trips, I have only been to this very special place a few times. Many times I took a much larger dose of various chemicals and did not find myself in this place of ancient knowledge and great wisdom. Some of the trips that I found myself in this special place I was on a relatively low dose, sometimes a very high dose, another time it happened on my first experience with the particular substance. I wish I knew the "formula" or map to get to this place, but it seems that it turns out it is completely up to the universe. It is a gift that cannot be demanded. It should be appreciated. Now that I understand this, I am going to ask for this wisdom once again, but this time through meditation. I am going for a long walk next year on the Appalachian Trail and I hope that Mother Earth will share her hidden knowledge with me once again. 🎁🙃🍄😉💗

I had once the experience that i felt like i was the music and when i closed my eye, i saw notes of music and i felt like i was the Note just jumping around and changing with the music. I never forget how i really felt like going liquid and changing in Notes just by closing my eyes

This might sound a bit crazy, but I’ve done a lot of psychedelics but I will forever remember my first bad trip. Basically, I took about 400ug of lsd because I used to take 200ug lsd and deemed it was not strong enough for me(big mistake) after taking this tab I specifically remember watching friends on Netflix, and 30 minutes into my tab I saw netflix just exit friends on its own which was very sketchy but I still got along with it. What came next was terrifying; Netflix picked my one childhood terror which was the Harry Potter movie with the werewolf(this movie made me have a month of sleepless nights and terrifying nightmares for my 9 year old self.) As soon as Netflix picks this movie on its own, I see it skipping through the entire beginning in an incredible speed and I saw it stop right onto the scene where the werewolf transforms. I feel my guts dropping as soon as I see this werewolf stare into my soul and proceed to run onto the camera viewpoint at yet again an incredible speed. He then stops completely right in front of the tv and is still staring right onto my soul. I tried to escape this bad trip by closing my eyes and taking deep breaths, as soon as I opened them, the werewolf was there, huge, in my room...just standing there...staring onto my soul...at this point I was screaming and my entire family heard it. In the trip, as soon as I closed my eyes again and opened them, the werewolf took a huge leap onto me and I could physically feel it’s claws. I then tried chocking it and I suprinsingly put him onto the floor, for some reason I glanced onto the mirror and what I saw in the reflection was me chocking my own dog to death, and as soon as I looked back in front of me, the werewolf head. The next morning my parents told me I was screaming in my room and my dog came to comfort me but I proceeded to choke him with all my power. Fortunately, my dog did not die from this but everyday I wake up to my dog hiding and being absolutely terrified of me...man...if only I didn’t drop that one tab...

I actually learned how to have visual distortions sober or on cannabis. I go into a trance state where I lie down in darkness and look at a point with breathe work and if I stare long enough I can get my room to dance and expose with geometry. I think mushrooms unconsciously taught me how to do it.

Had an almost identical understanding of time doing shrooms as well. According to someone I met who's doing a post-graduate degree in physics, it's basically accurate. Also just occurred to me now that time is essentially just the word that we use to describe the universal movement of energy.

The closest I had to a hallucination on LSD was seeing patterns in the tiles of my toilet floor. Incase you're wondering why I was in the toilet, I originally felt very nauseous as it started coming on, and nearly threw up, so I rushed to the toilet, and I felt so safe in the foreign world of LSD in the toilet room, as I was already tripping balls at that point. It was like the toilet was protecting me from all of the evil in the world, and it was saving me from a bad trip. As such, I stayed in the toilet for most of my trip until I braved wandering out on my own into the 'wild' (as it felt like). But just before I did leave, I thanked the toilet and even gave it a hug before leaving. This was my first trip. Ever since that experience, the toilet has been my safe haven.

56 grams of magic mushrooms (dried) had me talking to "God" and Aliens. There were also fucking Alien Bugs coming out of my wall, running up my wall and jumping back into the wall. I could also see energy, and another dimension altogether. Also, when looking into the mirror I was made of gold fractals and could see eternity. Good shit, but its hard to come back to "normal" after that type of dose.

When I trip on shrooms I often feel like there’s a hair ball in my throat, and the hair on my head feels like it’s everywhere and im like AGGGHHH. also I’ve watched my phone die in literal seconds, it’s just not possible. My trips mess with technology it is the trippiest thing ever. When I try to take videos they’re glitched or delayed or there’s no sound. And I have these videos as proof even after my trip. I also met this girl once at a psychedelic party. She was on a very high dose of shrooms and she wasn’t showing up in any of the Polaroid pictures we took. She was an orb or a shadow!? psychedelics are truly truly truly amazing.

First timer here. I think I just felt 99% percent of all that, some states more intense and others it was like I just dipped in my toes and snapped out...This happened on 3 g on Golden Teacher in a chocolate. It was scary, challenging, it was a journey, it was a discovery, a cleansing, a birth-labor of sorts but without actual pain. Coming down brought an intense clarity and sense of focus and calm, I felt like I came out of a battle, victorious....And I felt the bravest I have ever felt in my life. Like , since I survived this...All my petty worries of everyday life are now more unimportant, negativity is unnecessary, gratitude is key and also I have a newfound respect for spirituality and people 's beliefs and cultures. I am not spiritual, not religious but now I get it.

I can only say I’ve had one bad trip and I learned later after researching a bit that what I had experienced was ego death. I couldn’t move or even talk and felt like my body was shutting down. I started to forgive myself for a lot of stuff and then I just went somewhere els. The sound was so loud it was vibrating every part of me and once I let it consume me it all stopped and for a solid 3 hrs I wasn’t awake but I wasn’t asleep either.

I had an experience on around 200ish ug where I was in a remote forest staring at the leaves and foliage, and I seemed to almost breakthrough or project inside of some plants in front of me. I could observe the amino acid chains being constructed inside of the plant cells which looked almost like a spectral model of color or something. It felt as if I could observe infinity in the forest floor. I'm very sensitive to psychedelics and have extreme synesthesia and immersive experiences on as little as 150 to 200ug. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

I'm super sensitive to the stuff as well. Experienced a complete ego dissolution and became one with the universe on just 150ug. On the verge of "coming back" to myself, I had a weird sensation of understanding time as a finite, unit measurable only as seen in relation to myself, being the entire universe and all. I try to always be careful to not overdo it because of the sensitivity. I'll have as much as the people I'm with and easily trip absolute balls in outer space while they're keeping normal conversations, lol.

I've had really scary auditory hallucinations during alcohol withdrawal. Where I thought my friends were talking really mean shit about me in the next room. I never quite learned what really happened. I think they were talking about a different person and my paranoia was projecting it on myself.

I think what you are doing in this video is really important. Just helping people be a little better prepared as to what exactly they should expect going into an intense trip, i think will lessen the chances of them totally losing their shit, because they have no idea what is happenning, and ending up in a psycotic mess. This video could literally save peoples lives. I agree that Psyconaut wiki is brilliant at presenting the facts, but this is BY FAR the clearest explanation of the potential effects of psychedelic's i have ever come across. Thank you.

I've taken 200ug of 1P-LSD once (my highest dose so far) and it was by far the most challenging trip I ever had. I felt as if I was being stabbed in my chest or as if I got electrocuted on my heart every 1-2 seconds for about a hour real time. And it felt like an eternity. Wherever I looked, it didn't really take me a second or two and I would just zoom in on each and everything and see some crazy kaleidoscope-ish visuals (it felt to me as if I was seeing the molecules anywhere I looked) and it was so hard to process it all as it happened so fast and so much was going on at the same time + there were those chest pains. At some point I decided to go to another room where I was alone (I tripped with 4 friends, one of them was on fucking 1000ug) so I could meditate and calm myself down, I even decided to play some Hearthstone as I always remain calm and think about something else once I'm playing a game, and even Hearthstone was such a challenge, I was so overwhelmed by everything. I decided to meditate (putting all my focus on my breathing), and I finally managed to get myself back on a good trip. It was my very first "bad" experience out of almost 30 LSD trips (with lower dosis), and I still don't know what to think about it. I'm not sure but I think I was pretty close to ego-death during that trip but I remember that I was so afraid to "let go" off of this reality, and I'm still pissed off that I didn't just take the chance to experience my very first ego-death. Now it's been almost half a year since I stopped using LSD occassionally and I'm planning to trip on it in like 2 months again. I was thinking of taking a higher dosage (in a safe environment with experienced people that I'd trust with my life), and that I would be taking 1A-LSD (ALD-52) this time, as I was told that it's not as exhausting as 1P. About my dosage, I thought about going further than just 200ug this time. I'm not really anxious (that's the last thing you want to feel when you're about to trip on LSD), but it's still somehow bugging me. If you managed to read up to this point, then you shall be blessed man, love ya' (no homo). My question is, what dosage would be the best for ego-death, or in my case, would it be worth it for me to even go for an ego-death?

I brokenthrough acid once an I only took 125ug for achieving a full ego death you have to be ready and when you are tripping just ask to that inner voice who am I, then you ll start to lose your memory, all that will be challenging because you are killing yourself somehow but let it happen don't fight it just embrace it and it will show you what you are wanting and you will feel back to yourself very quick. Stay safe, be prepared, know your product, your setting and if you are sure that you want to have such a strong and life changing experience. Keep safe

Great video Tom! Have you ever tried Salvia Divinorum? I used to use it quite often in varying strengths (upto 30x) and have had absolutely profound experiences to say the least. Sometimes (or shal I say most times) after smoking it you'll be catapulted into a completely different reality or basically a Salvia dream where you might take on the reality of being an inanimate object, like a chair or something and during your trip you have absolutely no realization you ever were a human (which can be quite terrifying!) A lot of time I will be catapulted into a 2-D world full of bizarre things.

I don’t trip when I get high but I get the uncomfortable feeling of floating out of a tunnel and of myself, like an expanding bubble, and then it snaps back down to reality, like the bubble pops. Also kind of like waking up from a dream. It’s really weird and hard to explain lol, and it will just happen over and over for hours. Also I tend to get a feeling of suffocating or being trapped within myself, which is strange bc it’s like the opposite of the freeing sensation most people talk about. It kinda sucks lmao

wow, number 9. I had it and I've never been able to describe it to people. I'm glad I watched your video. You explained it well and it totally related to what happened to me the last time I drank. A psychotic break that went on in a loop for hours. Tortured by demons, particularly a half man half pig giant. After the ceremony I went to sleep, and it continued in my dreams for around another 7 hours or so. Scariest thing ever. I didn't think I was coming back. It ended with a loud booming voice saying "DON'T COME HERE AGAIN!"
