Terraforming takes so long.. we spent about 150 days on this!! Tutorials: • Minecraft Slime Farm T... • Minecraft Mangrove Tre... Follow me on twitter!: / smallishbeans
If I had a nickel for every time Joel had a power cut while playing his hardcore world so he had to restore everything I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
I just get pleasantly flabbergasted, bewildered, surprised, shocked, astounded, dumbstruck, dumbfounded, thunderstruck, stunned, stupefied, speechless, awed, and then I realize he's gonna top it next video.
0:51 I prefer the UI bigger for videos like this! It's much easier to see things in my opinion. But for streams (like MCC/MCCI) and maybe in SMPs I prefer the smaller UI so we can see things a bit clearer! (like chat and stuff!) (This is coming from a person with really bad eyesight)
I hope Joel will join hermitcraft next season. He's such a dedicated hardcore builder. His content fits well in Hermitcraft. Edit: he actually joined, which is amazing. Looking forward to exciting shenanigans with him and Grian.
At the start of the video when he was explaining about “big builds” in the “future” it made me think of him being on hermitcraft s10, Foreshadowing Joel? 👀👀
@@CarolineLurks No they are not better, they are ugly. Too huge and all over the screen. The best size is what he already has. I dont get it, why bigger should be better. Doesnt make any sense.
@@gwyneth6045 Think as hard and long about it as it takes you to figure it out, because OP has accumulated quite a lot of likes from people who don't agree with you 😂
@@CarolineLurks I dont need to think about it. Its simple. Ur just bad slow people who needs the biggest inventory to see the items they have. Every single one who is just better and knows how to play games, they change their settings for the better-looking / better performance. Npc like u leave the settings default. Its just simple and obvious ur all bad at everything u do. Dont need to comment on it further.
@@watermelon3752 I. I also did this and...: Every life series His other hardcore worlds Empires. Empires season 2. Afterlife series. A lot of build vs with Lizzie. When he made an escape room with Grian and Impulse. 100 days videos. His superflat challenge and the alternative biome versions.
every new joel video reminds me why he's my favorite content creator. was exhausted from school and then joel called us all idiots and then went "I don't actually think that" and now I feel more confident about school then I did literally half an hour ago
How has he not 'blow up yet lol'. Ive watched him and Lizzie since I was like 9 and have recently binged and rewatched all his episodes only to re discover his building talent and charisma!!!
the way that my wifi gave up on loading this video while joel was talking about his power outage woes 😭 i like the smaller UI better, but i might be an outlier - i watch primarily on mobile and the larger UI just takes up so much more of the screen that it's distracting at times. congratulations on 2100 days, Joel! i love this series so much.
I think the bigger inventory is better, much easier to follow what's going. Also I can't be the only one that saw that he buried a turtle underneath the terraforming @21:50 , poor dude gonna be there forever now. XD
You are an inspiration to remind me that terraforming is worth it even when you just want to slam your head on the table. Thank you for all of your hard work and it all looks amazing!
Joel I hope you are so proud of yourself. We appreciate all you’ve done and how hard you work and we see the incredible progress you’re making!! We love you!
i personally prefer the smaller UI, but dont mind the bigger one! absolutley captivating build!! your determination is unparalleled by any other, woahhhh
Bigger inventory 100%! Considering I am kinda blind and I had to squint to see what he had in his inventory with the smaller one 😂. I love these videos btw…. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to sit in front of my phone to watch something ❤
For me it really doesn’t matter what size the inventory is. Some of the newer items I forget how to craft even though I remember when food wasn’t even stackable- if it’s smaller than you can just quickly type stuff in, larger you can see better. So whatever feels better for you😊
I got so exited you uploaded and I had a lovely time watching you build. I'm sorry things got messy with the power outtage. And I'm thankful you didn't rage-quit!
Bro I’ve been missing all the Minecraft with HC ending and secret life coming to a close I know you all need breaks but man it’s been a lonely holiday season without you all uploading 😅
Understand that I don't mean any disrespect with this, but I don't believe a single person in history has ever stopped watching a video like this because "his inventory is too big." small things like that don't matter as long as we can see that you're enjoying the game and still have the passion for it I can see in your projects. Love the video and keep it up!
Joel, the terraforming ABSOLUTELY looks like a lot. Yeah it's not a huge intricate build but it's still a big impressive project that adds so much to the area. I'm impressed I'm telling you, impressed! Farmland is cozy af 10/10 love the vibes.
Oh Joel! Get some rest buddy! And I'm so sorry about your power situation, I can't even imagine. But DANG this new area looks AMAZING!! I want to walk those paths and smell the flowers! It's so beautiful! 🌟
Joel, big man, smart man, you don't need a backup generator, since you will still have a moment without power as no backup generator is instant. You need a UPS (battery backup). It will not only save you from power outages but also act as a surge protector as well. Just make sure you get one with enough power or your PC can still still shut down in a power outage, and make sure your PC is plugged into an actual battery slot on it as I found out the hard way.
I personally prefer the bigger UI for viewing. I like seeing what you have in your inventory, and i happen to be a glasses user and find it pretty hard to fully see what's happening a lot of the time. I think it would be awesome if you used the bigger UI for accessibility
1:04 Joel we are comfortable with any type of UI as long as you are comfortable to play with ❤ But i usually play in zoomed out UI so i maybe prefer that
The way that if I lost all that progress in the span of 20 hours when it takes way longer to make/get than 20 hours I would've quit, i honestly don't understand how you have that much patience, love it though👍
Came for the crazy build, stayed for the crazy personality 😂 Also, the bigger UI is much preferred so things are still noticeable even without glasses for the visually impaired like myself..
Amazing content as always Joel!! :D Just know all of us appreciate you for not giving up on this hardcore world despite the many setbacks you've had to endure lol
So Joel, as someone who has an interest in this, allow me to answer your questions about how mangrove trees help economically and what coral bleaching is. Coral Bleaching is a major issue for coral reefs. As the ocean grows warmer - largely due to climate change currently - corals start to expel their food. This makes them more fragile and they turn white, which is a sign that they are dying. Coral reefs are the habitat with the most biodiversity in them on earth, including fish that we eat. Mangrove trees are great at regulating the carbon dioxide levels in the air (which is a major cause of climate change). So, the mangroves keep the air a little cooler, which in turn keeps the ocean water cooler. The difference in even a few degrees can hugely impact whether the corals survive. Economically, this helps because the more fish in the corals, the more food we can eat. Also there are a bunch of animals that hide in mangrove swamps, especially certain fish, that again, we can fish for. TLDR; Mangrove good for enviornment, including fish that humans eat. I love your videos so much Joel, and hope this helps answer your questions!
I love the farming area! Also while I love the big projects too, don’t feel you have to keep going bigger and bigger to get views, we still enjoy the smaller projects! Do whatever works best for you :)
