Hey Kim! I want to give you a heads up about washed potatoes. I'm a spud (potato) farmer myself. If you are able to buy the potatos that hadn't been washed, it's much better for you. I'm not sure about other countries but here in Australia, the amount of chlorine, bleach and other harmful chemicals that have to go into a machine with the water to wash the spuds is unbelievable. The protocols farmers have to abide by to sell washed potatoes are quite shocking. If you are worried about the dirt, just use a disposable glove and wash the spuds in the sink with a scrub brush. Most people would say that it’s strange that i love your channel so much because we have nothing in common: I am an 22 year old, unmarried, childless 1st year medical student. In my mind, you are still so relatable because you keep things real, give me great meal ideas for my busy schedule, let me know when I need to hit up the dollar section at target, and always remind me to make the mundane tasks of life fun. I just wanted to let you know that I started implementing dance breaks while I’m studying because of your videos and it makes studying so much more enjoyable! Try this Kim. It’s called Dominican Pork. Use pork loin or pork chops or pork shoulder, mojo criollo sour orange marinade ( you can find it everywhere in the Latin aisle), sazon, minced garlic, s+p, a lil cilantro sliced red onion and Italian dressing in a ziploc bag!!! Then take a lil oil and minced garlic and sauté some of that same marinade and cook some black beans in it, then eat with some white rice and some tomatoes, cucumbers and red onion marinated in Italian dressing and minced garlic. And if your extra fry up some sweet plantains to go with it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I've never tried to make freezer meals so I'm excited to try some of these recipes. Have a lot going on and will need meals prepped for my family while I'm down from surgery. Great idea and can also think of some of our favorite meals that I could prep. Very timely since I'll have a few weeks to get this done before My surgery. I bought a bag of oranges too. I needed four tablespoons of ZEST and 1/2 cup of juice. So now I have five NAKED oranges drying out in my refrigerator. Also, random tip: I get the garlic smell off my fingers by rubbing a stainless steel spoon under water. I forgot to add that I really appreciate watching your videos. You make meal prep fun.
