We have some special occasions at Goodwood events, but it's very hard to beat some of the demonstrations we've had at our Members' Meetings. Throughout the years we've had demos of Ground Effect F1, Ayrton Senna's McLaren in the hand's of his nephew, Group 5, BTCC, GT1 just to name a few. We've picked out a few of our favourite Members' Meeting moments and put them into one lovely little package for you to enjoy.
With the 81st Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport just around the corner, what better time than now to turn up the volume and delve back into those archives.

I was just behind the pit lane for the Senna MP4/6 demo and you could still hear it when Bruno was at the opposite end of the circuit! The way that sound hangs in the air is unforgettable.

Modern racecars are amazing but nothing beats sound of these cars especially that Senna v12 McLaren.. musuc to the ears,😀

I look forward to that. I really hope someone shows up with the early CanAm Ferrari if it still exists. Even though it was underpowered compared to the McClarens, Chaparral, Lolas and almost everything else it was a beautiful car and fun to watch the Italians in the desert of Riverside California with Chris Amon and Jonathan Williams driving.

They are the greatest sports/racing cars of all time. They sound absolutely marvelous which sadly modern racing cars lack.

A little story you might like... In my first year of a 27 year career in Motor Sport, at Brands Hatch back in 84, working for a Thunder Sports/Group C Team......We were in the "Outer Paddock" when some Entitled Knob Head parked his Porsche in front of our awning..... With NO grace I told him to F..in Move it!!..... My colleague said to me " Do you know who that was?" No I said...... Dr Jonathan Palmer he replied.... Who is He then I said...... Having spent 27 years working in Motor Sport including 17 for Mclaren I have had the Pleasure of Meeting 17 World Champions, but I never met and had the chance to Apologise to Mr Palmer.... So Sorry Jonathan if you watch this..... :-)))

Seeing The Jordan Peugeot from the mid-90s driving again was great! To be honest, a team with a boss like Eddie Jordan back then is missing in the current Formula One circus!

I never fully appreciated the FIA GT Championship until it ended. Modern GT3 cars and the many variations on them just aren't as cool as those GT1 cars.

That particular chassis is the Le Mans winner 2003 car. Bentley still owns two chassis. The third chassis is owned privately and races in Peter Auto’s Endurance Racing Legends Series quite regularly.
