DeathMatch is a good way to warm up in my opinion. Having multiple enemies around you can really help improving your aim during a 1vX situation

(sorry for the grammar thou) I just wanna share this it might help someone who also loves my KJ... 1. I always plant Alarmbot on the edge or a corner of every 90 degree turn that enemies usually walk so they can't spot it and they hav no time to react against it. 2. I put one of my Nanoswarm where enemies usually hide as counteraction to my Alarmbot so I can manipulately put them in the center of my Nanoswarm explosion. 3. I always plant my Turret where most clash happens, especially in pistol rounds bcoz they can't instantly kill the turret in one shot long range (idk about sheriff). And sometimes I used it as my bait when getting an Orb on the position where enemies will be kinda firstly notice my turrets before me (so in technicality of their minds they will forcefully shoot my turrets first before me) bcoz my common enemy reaction is they hide first when they see a turret and it targets them, then go back to kill it (which is sometimes i already pulled my turret out to restart its health bar and got the free orb in the process) 4. I always use my Ult when my teammates wants to commit to rush in (that i can't do anything about them) so I support them with my Ult. I always use my Ult when my teammates and enemies are 3 seconds distance away from killing each other so my Ult will help us incase it will become a bad trade, so we can recover the loss of teammate by giving the enemies bad defenseless position after.

Quick tip for the alarm not and swarm strat. Make sure that the swarm is a bit behind the alarm bot as people tend to move backwards when hit by the bot so u can still get the kill as they won't have enough time to get out of the swarm

Most of these “INSANE tips to SOLO Hard Carry” are just “this ability does this! Figure out how to use it!” Kinda similar to your “only guide you will ever need” series :/

Extra Tip- if your playing on icebox and Are on defense you can lock down mid by putting your turrent at the top of the ram leading to the platform that overlooks mid and peek under it through its legs, it protects your head, like head glitching

QOTD: I love deathmatch, but I hate how the kill is capped to 30. I don't want any kill limit, and it'll be great if a kill insta replenishes your health and ammo

It's insane the amount of people who don't know you can place the turret backwards by right clicking before placing LOL you dont have to jump ontop of it to get the right angle -_-

Tip: you can put your alarmbot and nanoswarm inside the spike to make it harder to spot. This makes the nanoswarm practically invisible. So even if the enemy destroys the alarmbot, you can detonate your nanoswarm after 2 secs when the enemy would probably be defusing the spike.

5:40, oh yea, a real pro, that turret is going to kill the shit out of that wall

Another way you could play attacking side is by finding spots to throw your nanoswarm at the beginning of the round to get people off of spots they sit at

one thing I noticed throughout this video is you didnt show that you are able to switch the turret 180 degrees to face you by clicking alt fire (right click) so it makes those corner placements so much easier. like one you jumped up looking down to place it on the Ascent A corner - its so much easier to just right click and place correctly. you could also do that from the heaven looking into hell so it could shoot them there! (killjoy main looking to see if there was anything I couldve missed). Luckily, this was common knowledge for me but good video overall for someone looking to get into the character.

Personally I don’t like deathmatch I don’t think it’s that good of a warmup because people know where you’re at every 5 seconds they just wait to hear footsteps and pre fire

since im a kj main, on defense, i like to have my turret peak for me. for example, if im defending A site on Ascent, i would place my turret on the green boxes, or on the very tall box on heaven.

QOTD: I like deathmatch but it is a pain to get sprayed by people using an Odin and camping. It is also annoying to get sprayed in all directions and would love a team mode. Get TDM in The Game

I always place an alarmbot + a nanosworm near and and when the alarmbot spots somebody I actıvate the nanosworm and rush in

QOTD: I like Deathmatch, it's a great way to see if your aim has improved through training in The Range and it's a good aim-training warm up before you play competitive mode.

QOTD: Deathmatch doesn't need to be changed, a lot of things complain about is to counter camping and people literally being unkillable. I personally don't want to play Deathmatch all the time however it's fun once in a while, like spike rush.

Her nanoswarms are amazing, as long as you’re creative, one or two kills per 3 rounds at LEAST

One trick I love to use is to check a choke point. I sit right before the choke and face backwards, and then I place my turret facing me, so that it is in the choke, and either it will see somebody waiting for us to peek, or they will shoot it and I at least know that there is someone there

I locked kill joy today and it was really fun playing with her, fun character who goes well with my passive aggressive gaming style

KJ ult takes 13s to activate, spike take 45s to explode but it's lost at 38s. So put it at 25s and you win the round, and use nano to cover the first 25s

I personally don't really like deathmatch because a, I'm a noob and often get killed b, it's to intense for me And c, I'm more of a tactic type

only played deathmatch once, was alright good practice like shooting range but people move, and you have to CONSTANTLY clear every angle cus people spawn all over infront and behind lol

I treat death match as a place to practice checking corners and strafing. I never care about top fragging as thats not what im there to do. I do prefer replication snd swiftplay as they are less time commitments and never really have to worry about economy much. Plus replication is great for playing agents you dont have yet

Death match is good for warming up and getting crosshair and placement ready. But it just doesn't work in valorant since u can't run and shoot. Plus abilities would make it more enjoyable

@8:10 it doesnt cover CT thats why the enemy always rotates out through ct if they dont wanna be restrained... it borders CT-B though

Rotate then place on blocks on ascent you can get it all the way up there and further in plus you can close doors

I haven't watch the vid fully but when I'm in ascent, I put the turret outside market(b), and alarm bot right when they go in site and put the nanoswarm when I hear them pushing in, and when it the alarmbot went off and see them I turn on the sworm grenade.

QOTD: I personally don't like it very much. I just don't think the radar goes well with the campy style of gunplay. Maybe death match specific maps would help, but currently I don't like it

QOTD: I hate it almost as much as spike rush. It's 6 ops in corners and 3 people with odin / ares. 0 skill. make it vandal only or phnatom only or both two.

U can press right click when placing the turret and it will turn in a 180, so if u right click right before u place it from ascent A heaven for hell the turret would actually be able to shoot them👌🏻

I like baiting with the turret the ability to gain information and get poke damage is super toxic and is an easy way to set up a nanobot bounce

Placing the turret on a sage wall will make the turret fly after the sage wall is destroyed

Honestly, this is cool, but very basic, I’m not great but there is so much more you could’ve touched on, like post plant angles with the turret or even as simple as swarms on the planter spike

U can put your turret on top of sages wall and if u break the wall, the turret floats try it:)

You can press right click to 180 turn your turret to put it in corners or ledges because it can only shoot in a 180 cone ahead so without rotating it will not shoot. I see people just place them facing in corners and the turret doesnt shoot and therefore wont detect. I tell people all the time the turret is not 360 like the alarm bot. Stay woke!

qotd: I love deathmatch, but honestly remove the dumb radar reveal, it ruins the whole point of warming up around tight angles if you can just be spotted and get run and gunned down.

Nanoswarm still does damage on high levels? Like on top of a box.

I got one hit kill by that nanoswarm. It dealt 160 damage on the head!

QOTD: The death match mode is really good for headshot boost and for learning spray patterns.
