Living in the Pacific Northwest means a lot of time spent in parks (or lakeside beaches if we're lucky), so I always have a blanket of some kind in my car at least for sitting on. A good sized water bottle usually, too, since my friends tend to drag me outside for hours on end and that doesn't always include somewhere with a water fountain. XP
Andra Kent that's really smart to keep a blanket in your car. I feel like we never spend too much time outside in parks or whatnot, but I feel like that's a change we should make this year!
I love your hairstyle in this video! Some things I can't live without for the summer are: Books! I read a lot over the summer, so I tend to make a lot of trips to library. Sandals/flip flops! I wear sandals everywhere over the summer (when I'm not barefoot)

Loved this video, I've had a lot of smoothies already this year as it's surprisingly warm in the UK already :) I can already tell that I will probably be wearing my new pair of wedges a lot this summer, especially with maxi dresses and jumpsuits/playsuits, and high-waisted shorts are a definite must for me, I usually pair them with a band tshirt, crop top, vest top or checked shirt :)
Oh my gosh Amanda! So a couple videos ago, i think on of your hair tutorials, you talked about the Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray. Well i needed new hairspray because mine was just horrible and I finally bought the Aussie one and it is AMAZING! It seriously freezes your hair. Thanks for the recommendation! For the nail polish my fav summer colors are the colors from del solei which changes color in the sun. It is the best because when I'm inside the polish will be elegant like a dark purple and then when I'm outside it will turn to a pink with sparkles. It's my major favorite

I can't believe you are going to read Paper Towns it is one of my favorite books! And I can't go any where in the summer without my phone and some headphones to relax.
One thing I need is hair gel. I have curly hair, so the summer humidity causes a lot of frizz and fly aways, which can be helped with a little bit of hair gel. I just put a small dot on the tips of my fingers and lightly put some on top of my head. You just don't want to get to much so you can't see the hair gel in your hair.
I will defiantly look into this for my sweet 16 huge bday gift from my Mom And Dad.... I am going to DisneyLand in Anaheim, I am so exited for this trip sadly not till September but still always hot in California because I am originally from SoCal I love the weather down their

I bought the honey bronzer from the body shop recently, and I love it! I don't really get tanned that easily, so I just put some of that on and it gives me kind of a summer glow! I just love it! And I just read Paper towns, and I really liked it, though it's not as good as I expected it to be. For some reason I had very high expectations for it, but it's a very sweet story! A good summer book I'd say! :)
Celina Abrahamsen I kind of have high expectations for it too, just because TFIOS was SOOOOO good! I'll have to go peruse the body shop some more. I'm fairly new to it and don't really know what else they have there, but I love everything i've bought from there so far!
I'm totally in love with everything I've bought in the body shop! The only exception is their eyeshadow. There's almost no pigment in it and it only lasts a couple of hours. I don't know what went wrong with that, cause I've loved all of the other make up products I've bought from them.
This video is so great! (Also, your hair looks glorious in this video!!) Anyway, 2 things that I can't live without in the summer is the good ol' AC and sunscreen! I get burnt really easily during the summer, so it's absolutely necessary for me to use really strong sunscreen. =)

I just finished Paper Towns a few weeks ago and wow I am so in love with it! It is definitely one of my top favorite books now. And I got the sea salt spray at the very end of last summer so I haven't actually been able to try it yet haha so hopefully I can try it out soon!

LOVE YOUR HAIR! I neeeeeeeeed to buy sunnies. And don't forget sunscreen! Yeah about that.... I can't wear it on my face because it makes me break out a lot. Therefore I always avoid the sun on my face. So I totally forgot to put it on this weekend, fell asleep in the sun and when I woke up, my face was LITERALLY BURNED. It hurt so bad and I looked like a tomato. I tan easily and don't get burned very quickly, but this was my first time in the sun after a looooong winter and my skin was just like NOPE. A cucumber mask helped relieve the pain and redness but oh my... never again!
EstherDus I totally know what you mean by your skin burning :( It's not fun. I can't wear sunscreen on my face as well because I feel like it makes me break out, but my makeup has some SPF in it so it keeps me covered :)

I think my summer essentials would be an airy skirt or dress (ya know flowy, since I love up in Canada summer is the only time it's not downright pouring so I gotta flaunt them legs!), flip flops, hair ties!(especially cute scrunchies) a hat and a great book( I don't have money to subscribe to kindle so I use an app called wattpad, wattpad have stories made by the users, and they have a lot of genres to choose from and lots of authors! A "book" I read that I loved was "The Dreamer's Curse" it's a neat twist on Harry Potter ;D)
Sasukio10 So sorry that Canada's weather isn't warmer so you can wear dresses all year long...well not all year long but for most of the year lol. I love wearing and shopping for a cute dress (or dresses)! They can really change up your look and just be fun!
Rain is important though, even if you hate it all the would-be flowers and plants in winter and spring would not get it's daily dose of moisture! Also after a shower of rain, the sky not only has a rainbow but it also feels much warmer! So I don't mind if there is only one season with 95% sun and three seasons of rain, as long as it makes the grass, trees and flowers happy :3

Where on earth did you get your top?! It's so cute. Also, do those sandals hurt? Target makes theee comfiest shoes, but thinner sandals usually make my feet hurt in a few hours. During the summer, I can't live without fruits! I love sweet, ripe, cold fruits to combat the heat.
JoaVcast My top is actually a dress I got at UO 5+ years ago I think! The shoes are so comfy! OMG I didn't think they would be but I've been living in them since I bought them! and I love the color! Target does make great shoes and I bought a pair similar to these last year, just a different way to wear the leather but the sole and everything is the same, and I love them!
About the crochet bikini, the sun cream still makes skin able to get tanned, it protects against those harmful sun rays (I don't know how you call it in english but I think you can understand what I meant xD) but you still get tan using sun cream :P
