The Simpsons. The world’s favorite animated, crazy, funny and, at-times heartwarming, American family. We grew up watching them, and we certainly learned valuable lessons from them along the way. I mean, let’s face it… Homer, Bart, Lisa and Marge have all been hit with all sorts of struggles throughout their lives. And watching them fight through these struggles and eventually arrive at their “aha” moment has probably taught us more about our own lives than we realized at the time. From problems at work, at school, with family and friends and even things on a more existential level… The Simpsons has taught us so much.

Frank Grimes, or "Grimey" as he liked to be called, has got to be the one of the best episodes. When he goes crazy at the end of the episode, I almost piss myself laughing. "Now I'm peeing on the seat! Give me a raise!" Lmao as I'm writing this.

11:23 What I find ironic about this episode is this scene right here where Homer shouts "Hello, China?" as this episode first aired (in the United States at least) on the same night as WWF/E PPV event In Your House: Final Four, which is the night Chyna makes her WWF/E debut as a plant in the crowd choking out Marlena/Terri Runnells

The Simpsons, especially during seasons one to three, had such a focus on wholesome, heartwarming final messages, I think if someone watched them, they'd think it's a family show, not an adult cartoon. Context is key here though, and I think the show would've been perceived as edgy back then. Overall, it's gotten a bit more edgy as it's gone on I'd say.

Grimey is the man who works hard day in, day out, but at the same time believes he is entitled to respect. He has no social intelligence and would rather scheme and gossip about his co-workers than let just accept people for what they are. We all need a Homer in our lives. He's stupid and can be very annoying, but he makes us laugh and has a kind heart. Anybody would choose Homer over someone like Grimey who's just petty, jealous, and negative.

In Grimes' defense, Homer is on fact highly incompetent at his job and should've never been given his position. My guess is Burns puts someone as dumb as Homer in the safety position because someone competent would catch his countless safety violations.

Some people just can't accept those who are different from them. Acceptance takes a lot of effort to learn. If people had already learned to accept, there would be no more racism, sexism, or discrimination. People do have rights, but what's the point of having them if they don't use them? Abusing those rights is bad enough as well.

I think the simpsons have taught me some life lessons. But i feel sorry for frank grimes. He hardworking and it lead him to death. And marge be not proud. I think marge was just beeing harsh. I honestly think marge should be dealing with this diffrently

Only old episodes in this video, my guess is 1998 and down, most people who watch this video wouldn’t even know about these episodes... Did you know for a short period of time King of the Hill, was more popular than The Simpsons. Personally I prefer King of the Hill over The Simpsons. How would things have been different if The Simpsons was cancelled instead of King of the Hill.
