For the peanut butter curry, do you actually use curry powder? I didn't hear use of turmeric or any other basic curry ingredients. Sorry if I missed it. I just may have missed it😂. Thank you. Looks delicious!
Here's a tip for people who don't like cooking. Once a month I cube chicken and cook and freeze. Then I fry up several pounds of hamburger and if beef is on sale I cook several pounds in slow cooker overnight. I freeze all this in small amounts because I'm alone and always have cooked meat available. Takes cooking down to a small medium of time.

I used to do the same Now I have some gremlin that enters my house and opens everything in my freezer causing freezer burn. It was so convenient to have it already prepped and throw something together quick but not an option any more.
This channel is a lifesaver. With Julia's help, my family has saved money with meal preps and cheap, easy, and tasty recipes. My four year old son watches the videos with me and says "mommy, make that," and "that looks yummy" and helps me shopping and cooking. He is less of picky eater. Absolutely. Prices have almost tripled. It's insanity how much food costs. I bought 65 items at Walmart. Before I fkation hit hard, they were $217. Today, I clicked reorder to see what those very same items would cost today. Over $500! I'm going to see what they cost now. 36 eggs used to be $2.50-$3.00. Now, they're $10.20. I'm on a very strict budget $250-$300/month for food before would last a whole month. Now, that $ barely lasts me 2-2 1/2 weeks. My wallet can't take another 4 years of this mess.

I was asked to bring something my niece's birthday party (she will be 11}. I was racking my brain for something kid friendly and the Taco Cups are going to be perfect. Pretty much appetizer sized and no utensils needed to eat and so easy to customize using shredded Rotisserie chicken making even less work.😄

Looks good Julia! I can vouch for naan bread as a wonderful side. Aldi sells a smaller version that fits perfectly in your toaster. Lightly toast them and serve with a buttery dipping sauce (I just use straight up butter and olive oil).

Have you considered trying brown rice flour? I’ve used it in gravies and a few other dishes with no modifications. For more extensive recipes, try the blog Let Them Eat Gluten Free Cake. I made her chocolate cake for a gathering and everyone was surprised that it was gluten free. Her cinnamon rolls are also amazing, as were the pitas / tortillas (I don’t remember which they were supposed to be, but the dough is great for either depending on how thinly you roll them). You do need to invest in a digital scale for about $20 though - something I resisted but now use whenever recipes include both weights and volume measurements.

I use cheese whiz mixed with green chilis in my crunch wraps and to make the crunch part crunchier, throw your tostadas into the oven - 375 for 10 minutes - before assembling. So delish!!! So no curry powder in the curry? Or did I miss something. Thank you Julia for all the simple yummy ideas. I’m going to try your mashed potatoes and the creamy tomato chicken.
