It is interesting to see two personalities together. Sean, the peaceful, meditative person, and Pierre the HYPER, crazy dude. Ying and Yang. Love the balance !! ;-)
sooo awesome seeing Sean out in a different light, literally haha, super cool, first time I honestly think I've seen him smile, good guys right there ! :)
I am so glad and can feel the excitement you might have felt. Sean has taught me a lot and one of the best mentor one can ever have. I agree with Sean, out for hours and two pictures.
Sean like you never seen him before. Man, he is way way out of his comfort zone in every meaning but, he did good. He was enjoying that and he definitely got that energy for it. He should do things like this more often, the fast paced videos. Enjoyable team up and yes do try street photography with him using smartphone because then he will be a little into his own zone with it. Loved it.
Two of my favourite photographers that I follow regularly in RU-vid and it was so great to see you together clicking pictures. It was great to see you both in action. Loved the video as well as your pictures. Keep rocking you both.
Being a street photographer in England is hard. Not because there are no interesting subjects, but because people seem convinced you take their picture to ridicule them or something.
My favorite thing about this video is seeing Sean smile and laugh. He's always so composed and pensive in his own vids, which works well for him but doesn't reveal this side of his personality. This was an impossible challenge, BTW. Favorite image is guy checking his watch.
An amazing collaboration! You both have a gift for capturing great images. Furthermore, you both offer so much more to your viewers than photography alone. Thank you!
I always enjoy these challenges, you always seem to bring out the best in people Pierre. This one most of all. It was such fun seeing Sean doing his thing but in a completely different way.... and....and ... despite being, what I guess is outside his comfort zone, Sean looked like he enjoyed himself!
WHOA!! I've been having a problem with Street photography where as I'm always wondering what persons would say if they see me standing there aiming in their direction with a camera or such - but hearing Pierre talk about how he was getting kicked out of the restaurant and he is still laughing and smiling about it without being discouraged is really helpful!
Who's ever tried?! How would you stabilize better when standing?! Have an awesome day! Come say Hi on Instagram & share your pics! instagram.com/pierretlambert 🎧 Podcast: pierretlambert.com/podcast 💥👋Say hi to Sean Tucker: instagram.com/seantuck
I literally watch watch Sean Tucker so much I knew the first pictures was his and literally love it...Sean has something unique...I've never see that ti anyone else...But great job both of you
This was so much damn fun! You guys had such great chemistry - it was really fun to tag along. Love watching both of you work, so it was a kick to see you interact. :))
Oh my, the episode you did with Trina of the challenge was fun but man this was super interesting. Yall did great, I'm a huge fan of Sean's work and you obviously. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful surprise seeing my two favourite RU-vid photographers unplugged and RAW. At first, I thought it was going to be a stacked challenge pitting a rapid-fire maniac against the competitive perfectionist, but I if you really want my opinion, it ended as a dead heat tie for best (or the worst in this case) and I think the next instalment should be the tie-breaker where we get to see both doing it the way you normally work separately, or with the other observing and critiquing, and with more time to complete the challenge.
Being a follower of both of you I really do liked this video. Sean’s specific style gave a way at least some of his shots but more important is that you showed us that a good picture can be be made almost everywhere.
Two of my favorite photographers, together! It would be amazing to see more of the two of you, but without the time constraints. Excellent video Pierre. Btw, numbers 6 and 7 are my favorites for sure.
both, enjoyable and stressful. A great exercise in impromptu and fast-paced mechanics to hone your skills and display your worth. I think it matters not that the results are 100%. It is a means to an end in displaying technique, vigor and 'point of view'. The 'guerrilla' techniques to capture the shots are something I personally grapple with as a 'shy' street photographer - but this was worthy and memorable to watch as normal with "photographers' on the street dealing with normal people's reactions to a camera. I understand that sometimes you need to step outside your comfort zone to get an interesting angle or point of view. Well done and I would love to see more of these as a counterpoint to the usual Sean 'calm magic'
Fun vid that underscores benefits of doing your own style, yet trying something different once in a while. You make a good team (or not), but differences are stark. Pierre: “joie de vivre”, run and gun, impulsive, normal exposure, object oriented. Sean: “stiff upper lip,” lie in wait, pensive, expose for highlights, light oriented. Like Sean’s shoot from chest and turn technique - will have to try that one. Perfect practice within one’s style makes for better images. Knowing the venue also helps when it comes to street photography. 🐩 vs 🐶 Next time in Paris under Sean’s rules.😄
Pierre, that was great, and to see Sean laughing and smiling a lot , hahahhah. That is a great idea, as you travel so much, continue doing the 10 Min challenge with different known photographers from those cities .
Brilliant!! really good fun! enjoyed this!! great to see a smiley laughing Sean too! haha good job gents!! 10 mins and a 55mm!! tough challenge! think the camp for 2 mins would be my option! - but inside id be panicking haha! :-)
As a London street shooter i really enjoyed it, loved the guy coming out of the restaurant shows what we have to deal with in London !! i was down there last month, some nice light to be had on the right day Through Shaun i have now found Pierre so double bonus keep up the good work both of you and maybe see you on the streets sometime
I've been using this type of challenge and various variants of it with my grandson teaching him photography. It's a very useful tool and much fun, he has surprised me many times.
That was great I do this for myself on my lunch break. I get 15 minutes after a short drive to find a composition. Thanks for making this it was awesome!
That was fun to watch, I normally walk from Charing Cross to Leicester Square /China Town for my street photography but this video has reminded me to try Covent Garden next time. Top 3 from both ~ Pierre: 1, 5 and 6 Sean: 1, 3 and 5 Thanks~
I loved it! I follow both of you for some time and it was awesome to see you both together. Photographers should do these challenges more often. The outcome isn't that important but you both seemed to have so much fun!
Hi Sean and Pierre just crazy for 10 minutes but yes there are preferred styles shooting into the sun and using gaps and subjects creating in shadows. Safety shots maybe ? Love it " we are only human" comment from Sean and Pierre time frames what and how we work shows very different approaches. Burst shutter mode wait a minute just put icing on the cake why and how people now gather there shots. Great fun and interesting challenge . We find the light hearted side coming out and just getting out there and not over thinking. It reminded me of a painter with a clean canvas! It's the first brush stroke that's the hardest from there on your imagination fills the canvas.
Wow! Loving photos taken by both. I think kinda challenges can train you to get stronger at not letting the moment go unphotographed. It teaches how you guys think in such tight circumstances without panicking. Keep this coming!
Frankly, that is honest street photography that produced pictures that are a pleasure to look at. When you get right down to it, these pictures are probably more documentary than those resulting from a more deliberate approach. I wouldn't discount these pictures. There is poetry here. Well done.
7, 8 and 9 were definitely the top. Shooting on street in Manual mode frightens me that I'll miss the moment. I prefer shooting in Aperture mode, setting the minimum Shutter speed around 1/200 or so (depending on the kind of photos I'm planning to take) and leaving ISO at auto. If I'm going for people, I use the A9 and the 85/1.4 GM. For places, I take the A7Riii and the 35/2.8 Zeiss.
again another video that i love! could watch your videos for days :D thanks for sharing all this amazing content with us :D really enjoyed watching this :)
Hahaha, it's the Yang to Sean's Ying...I've watched Sean for some time, and now find the usual, more frenetic other photographer videos just too dang much anymore. Hilarious to see his sober presence on one of them :-D
