Watching this guy dribble is a study in someone mastering their own physics. He’s just completely aware of his body weight and attack angles at all times. Like someone else said in the comments, he has defenders beat/sealed from the first move. The rest is just to get a cleaner/better look. Scariest thing is he isn’t even in his prime yet. He get 3%-5% leaner (not necessarily skinnier) and gains even a half second of speed, in this no defense league, he could have the greatest 5-7 year scoring stretch of all time. Plus, aside from his weight, his ground bound game will be effective until he’s 40.
@@seriouscashLuka looks way taller in comparison to curry who is basically 6' 3 and Kobe wasn't even 6'6 the. Kobe was more like 6'5, so Luka is definitely at least 6'6 and a half😊
@@seriouscashLuka is taller than Kobe ( find the video - Kobe trash talking to Luka ) Luka is 6'8, when they take a picture together you can see the difference.
“Pistol” Pete Maravich (rip) used to explain the various types of hesitation dribbles he employed to create space. Some were one hard bounce off the floor, others were two hard bounces off the floor. Luka has taken that knowledge to another level. Much like Kobe and Air Jordan in their prime, Luka is unguardable.
He is traveling. Watch. Slow it down. He takes 4 or 5 steps without dribbling on many of these clips. Its disgusting how refs refuse to call traveling on NBA players.
@@PatrickN. They call traveling differently nowadays. The pivot can come off the ground as long as the ball is shot or passed before the pivot comes down.
Have you noticed how bad he drags his pivot and travels on some of his post moves especially? I love luka and I love the league but sometimes they just let him walk it’s wild
I love seeing these European players dominate the game. ISO ball is boring, and American players have become too arrogant. Luka is fun to watch, and Jokic is going to destroy every record before he's done.
watch the defense...nothing compares to what guys like Bird and MJ went through back in the days. luka got skill but I doubt he'd be this great if it was the late 80s and early 90s
when will you old heads give up this terrible ass debunked myth. theres like 5+ videos already comparing defense in the 80's and 90's and comparing todays defense. theres almost no difference, its so insignificant that there might as well not be a difference. just because youre nostalgic doesnt mean your era was "the golden age". every single generation thinks that about their own generation. give it up youre just parroting the same shit you hear your peers say. youre not thinking for yourself
Great player, but travels galore. Dont the refs call it out anymore. Its so obvious in todays nba. My era was 80s and you could not lift your pivot foot.
