Jeff Dunham, more than any other ventriloquist in my opinion, really brings his puppets to life. Almost immediately you quit thinking of them as "puppets" and start thinking of them as real "people" interacting with him as a comedy team! Not to mention his sharp wit and incredible sense of humor. The man is truly gifted!

Definitely, in my opinion, the best ventriloquist. Loved when Peanut and Jalapeño talk in Spanish, and Jeff stops them cause he feels left out cause he doesn't speak Spanish. He went between himself 2 puppets in 2 languages. That's talent.

Comical genius. To be able to take any situation and play it, at an occasion even so far out he forgot where in the script he was and never break character. One could discuss who is technically the best ventriloquist, but without discussion Jeff has the absolutely best material. He even in live situations had people argue with his dolls. My all-time favorite Jeff Dunham special was when he had Guitar Guy on and Achmed broke Guitar Guy who was trying so hard to not laugh onstage but Jeff couldn't, so he said "Don't look at me" which made GG break MORE. It's hard to find online but I never laughed harder.

That one had to be a classic I remember a video that went down exactly like this, Jeff Dunham was performing at a very small club he was very young at the time maybe his 20s or something. Who's winning the white T-shirt and a black tie I will tell you this peanuts laugh was 10 times more different than the one you hear now. And he used to do this part where peanut would laugh so hard he'd fall off his own stage. And then he would probably transition into the tequila bottle I also remember the old design of Jose jalapeno it was just a jalapeno with unibrow and a big old mustache no sombrero. It was hilarious.

I love how Jeff can both make fun of himself through his puppets, and turn any flubs or unscripted mishaps into part of the routine! Any good comedian won't take out the outtakes, but take the outtake and use it for what it's worth! Doesn't make it much of an outtake, now does it!

i remember almost 20 years ago when a friend showed me a clip here on youtube when Jeff introduced Achmed the first time. I was blown away how amazingly funny he is. And Peanut is the cherry on top. Such a chaotic, slightly offensive, yet cute character. Pure comedy gold!
