Have you guys ever played Kingdoms of Amalur ? The games in this video are extremely underrated, but i want to also mention Kingdoms of Amalur, it's really a one of a kind game that i can't find anything like it, the art direction in this game is like Fable + Skyrim + World of warcraft, single player RPG with quite a decent premise, you're someone who has no fate and thus you'll have to shape your own fate which woll be the fate of the whole world, and while the game doesn't really have any long lasting effects on your choices yet the endings really depend on what fate you ended up with, the Gameplay is very beautiful and allows a kot of creativity even though it's not complex, the exploration is very rewarding and the best part to me was actually the world design and the atmosphere it has especially with the music being so good, and it's no surprise because the game was actually made by some very respected names. At the time it launched, it actually scored quite well with the reviews, it did great it was critically acclaimed, but it somehow didn't sell enough and the twist is that the founder of that studio was an absolute disaster this game almost bankrupt rhode island 🤣 the studio had to shut down shortly after and it wasn't until 2020 when THQ decided to release a remaster version, and that remaster also didn't do the game justice because it didn't improve anything and only came with an additional expansion but nothing that met 2020 standards, but the the thing is, the game is such a blast, it's beautiful and very fun to play i guarantee you'll absolutely love it, I'd say the only problem i had with that game is that it had way too many side missions and most of those side missions where fetch quests that had little to no reason to be there, other than that, this game is one of the best RPGs i have ever played and it will always have a special place in my heart because i love when games are creative and unique.

Man neo world ends with you is like a 9.5 for me. The storyline, music, battle system, mechanics constantly being added. I put in over 150 hours, zero regrets at all.

Some good games I'd consider overlooked/underrated: Elex, Spellforce 3, Outward, Shadows: Awakening, Arboria, Asterigos: Curse of the Stars Black Book, Chorus, Get Even, Chernobylite, Everspace 2.

Great video. For anyone who enjoyed Wreckfest theres a game called Trailout that is extremely similiar in quality and style thats worth playing through. I beat it on PC recently and it was awesome. Its also on Series X now.

Good picks, NEO TWEWY is one my favorite games of the last gen, and I don’t regret the 80 hours I spent in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth either. Personally, I’d probably include Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. The game really builds on what Airship Syndicate did in Battle Chasers: Nightwar, which had a very decent JRPG (well, technically the games are Western, but gameplay-wise it’s as J of a turn-based RPG as it gets) combat system and pleasant art, but was barebones in all other aspects. For their second attempt at the same genre they found ways to make the combat system truly shine and married it to a world that’s actually interesting to explore, with a decent story to boot. Even if you don’t care for League (and I certainly don’t, haven’t played the main game in 10 years), it’s a must-play for JRPG fans.

Signalis is a game that few way under the radar

I'm not sure if you've checked it out but i truly love the Atlus game Catherine, its wonderfully weird and blends so much intrigue and puzzles, an unconventional romantic horror puzzle platformer that i couldn't recommend enough. There's two versions and id recommend the classic as it has the best most consistent tone and while Catherine Full body is amazing it adds a character i feel goes against the laser focused narrative and atmosphere it builds. Hopefully you check it out as its more solid than concrete!

I'd like to mention the game Blue Reflection. Never heard of it until one night when I was window shopping on the PSN store and thought it looked fun. It's a JRPG and I actually found it pretty good. A sequel was made but I haven't gotten to playing just yet but I recommend giving it a try at least Concrete

Concrete. I think my most underrated games of all time would be these 3: Lethal League Blaze The Callisto Protocol (not the best story but everything else was stellar) And here's a fun one, Door Kickers: Action Squad (think Rainbow Six into a platformer and boom here you go 😂)

I don’t like Samsho quite as much as SoulCalibur but it’s still one of my favs.. I agree Sniper Elite should be highly revered.. Got several entries myself.. I thought Guardians was pretty good too.. Dunno why I couldn’t finish it but can just get back to it one of these days.. So I guess Mad Max deserves to be in the same category as Days Gone as far as post apocalyptic gems that work as one offs.. Granted we’d like to see more! I’d also like to mention a turn based rpg on Switch I like playing called Ruined King.. Fans of stuff like Octopath Traveler and I suppose all the other fusillade of classical style RPGs would dig it..

A game I feel totally alone liking it is Cloudpunk. Imagine if Death Stranding, Cyberpunk 2077 and Bladerunner had a real chill baby made of Lego, and hey presto. I just really love that game.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is hidden gem. It's a Vampire battle royal game that's free to play on PS5 and PC.

Sniper Elite is a great franchise. Can be very satisfying getting a long range X-ray kill, if you are a slower player of games like me then Sniper Elite is worth a look as it’s so “please yourself” with the way it plays. Mad Max I loved my play through of and I have no interest in the Mad Max franchise as a whole. While it means I probably missed a lot of references and Easter eggs, the game held its own for me. The rest of the games I can’t give personal opinions of as I haven’t played them.

Does the last guardian still count as a modern game i personally prefer the last guardian over the other two games ico and shadow of the colossus are still good games but for me the last guardian had a greater impact on me as a experience of the team ico trilogy ❤️ 😁

Why isn't Huntdown on here? There are these so-called "hidden gems" and then there's Huntdown-which received far less coverage than most of these games. Shows that when it comes to hidden gems there are levels because while many of these games garnered decent exposure, Huntdown did not and is one of the best gems you've never played.

I think some of the hidden gems I played recently was probably either Warhammer Boltgun which I really loved and prodeus which I liked.Outcast new beginning thought it was going to be but it ended up being a flop, same goes for Elex 2 and biomutant.

I though about my underrated concrete hidden gems on my drive in today would have to definitely call out: 1. Red Faction Guerrilla for just the sheer level of destruction. 2. Scott Pilgrim vs. the world is probably my favorite beat em up. 3. Enslaved Odyssey to the west for adventure pick. 4. Kena: Bridge of Spirits that gets surprisingly difficult with fun bosses.

"NEO: The World Ends With You" gotta be one of the most repetitive games I have ever played. For over 90 hours the gameplay barely evolved. It's a mind numbing repetition made to just waste your time. The game has just a couple of zones that you are going to run through ad nauseum until you just can't take it anymore. Reskinned enemies, reskinned bosses. It's a 20 hour game stretch to a 90 hour one. If you are interested, play the demo. This is exactly how the game plays from start to finish. If you like to do this over and over again for close to 100 hours, get it. Otherwise, stay away.

Sometimes in 1 and 2 Ronpa pace is slow down and third game feels like is boring and low paced as a whole. First two better

I'd go as far as to say V3 is the only objectively good Danganronpa game that could've had mass appeal. But nobody played it because it's a Danganronpa game, despite the fact that it exists to deconstruct the entire series and lampshade the fucked up fanbase. (The weebs will say that's a misunderstanding of the narrative but I couldn't disagree more.)
