10 More Strangest National Park Disappearances - Volume 6 

Lesson learned do not hike alone, have tracking devices sewn in every bit of clothing, Carry emergency rations an blankets as well as flare gun....Hell who am I kidding after this I am never going camping again!

As someone who worked at Crater Lake twice, and Sol Duc Hot Springs once, and grew up in Springfield/Eugene Oregon, I'm really appreciate of these videos. There was a young male who went missing at Crater Lake, but that happened the season before I was first worked there. So I don't know much about the case. But here is what I do know. The male was in his late teens, and had a mental disability. He had gone to Crater Lake with his family, for a camping trip. He had a fight with either his mother or his father, and took off running. It was close to when Crater Lake would close for the season, so there was already snow on the ground. Like five feet worth. So, when the young man took off running, his parents gave him space. But when he didn't come back 2 hours later, they started looking for him. An hour after that, they called the rangers for help. Not only did the rangers come out and help. Anyone who was working at the park, and wasn't on shift at the time went out and searched for the young man. Sadly, his body wasn't found until next spring. His body had been less than 10 yards from when he and his family had been staying. And here's the strange part, no shoes.

That boy should NEVER have been left behind by his scout leader. Horribly irresponsible.

Wonder why anyone would thumb down these videos....the subject is obvious,so if someone doesn't like the topic, why would they watch it? There are no better videos done on this subject. Yours are undisputably the best, most factual and professional.I have watched many others, that are good, but yours are the best by far. One common thread is the bodies are found in locations that were previous searched, now that's just freaking weird!!! A few years back there was a lady in a neighboring town who was back packing with a group in Yosemite National Park. The group was on a day hike when they realized they forgot to put the food up in case of bears so she volunteered to go back and do it and that's the last anyone saw of her. She did make it back to their camp and put the food up. They(park department) did the vanilla search and gave up. Like 2 maybe 3 weeks later they find her body in a dry stream bed somewhere around 12 miles from the camp site as a crow flies and has a mountain between the camp site and where the body was found which they say she couldn't have climbed. The long way around was like 36 mile so how did she end up there? But the real kicker is the spot where she was found is patrolled by the park department on horses every few days and her body wasn't there before and couldn't have been missed. Also that area was never in the original search because there was no way for her to get there!! One last thing, she was like 89 yrs old so no she didn't climb a mountain or walk there! Her death was ruled that she died from blunt force trauma from a fall from great heights. Very strange indeed!!

You're right about the NPS not being eager to cooperate in investigations. I remember the three men you're talking about, and both the local cops and the newspaper had a hell of a time getting a straight answer on anything.

when you look at the vastness of these parks, it is not surprising some people disappear without a trace.

Many years ago when i was 10 and my brother was 5 we went with my parents on tour in the swiss mountains. The trail was not to hard. After approx. 2h walking, my younger brother hade to release some body liquid and went behind a tree. Maybe 10-15m behind us. After 1min i went to look for him, but he was nowhere to find. We searched around 3h till we got real scared and went back to the little town where we started the tour. Immediately a group of 10-15men went on to search for him. After around 15hours we found him near a little creek. He was unconscious. And the shocking thing was his hair went from brown to totaly grey. Now he is 30 years old. And his hair is still totaly grey. He never talked about what happend, ir where he was in the 15h missing :(

Rusty. There are two books I have read. Death in Grand Canyon and Death in Yellowstone. Both were very good.I have worked in several national parks and its strange, tgw park service tries to keep everything so hush hush. Unfortunately I have talked to 3 people just hours before tgey died. All were 20-22 years old. One fell off a waterfall, another fell into a hit spring, last was buried in an avalanche (tried to warn tgat guy). These are dangerous places!

the kid with the scouts does not appear to have taken the pic because he is too far away from camera and his arm is not raised as you can tell from the position of his shoulder. someone else took that photo. Why didn't the police analyze it more closely???again, Love these videos. Great tone and feeing...

Dave Paulidis also mentioned that many people that disappear are Germans or have a German heritage. This seems to be very common, Klaus is no exception.

The last one, the three men all looked similar. In 2005 a group of us searched for a woman who was missing, her car was still parked at an over look, cell phone and keys still inside...

I used to dream about being in the wilderness, but it seems too dangerous. It is the last place I would think someone would be in danger other than from wildlife. The ultimate mystery....all these missing people! The more videos I watch, I've come to realize that we must consider ALL possibilities, no matter how outlandish they may seem!

My wife's sister's family, my in-laws just came back from Pacifica, California. They wen through the red wood forest out there and I thought of your videos and the disappearances out on the Westside coast. She has two little ones. Both are under ten and I worried but felt safe because grandpa was with them and her husband. I'm glad they made it home safely. I didn't tell them about the disappearances because I didn't want to scare them but I told them to be safe and aware. Thanks for your time. Hopefully we can get answers in the future for these families.

If the body was found in a location that was already searched then some one or some thing put them there after. The investigation is on going tells me there is some thing of importance keeping the case open. They know the missing pieces to this puzzle and they are not telling. There has to be some one or some thing or things behind these disappearances... Accidents generally leave a body in its location. Deliberately caused deaths the body tends to disappear and or show up in a precariously searched area thinking they searched here the probably wont be back to search it again.

So sad, Glad you made more of these, They're so interesting and we need to get the word out that something strange is happening in these parks. I can't imagine what the family feel when the search is called off. a least while they're searching they have hope. Once it is called off it's like saying you will never see your loved one again, how do they go home and deal with that. I pray their bodies are found a least to give the family some peace of mind and to hopefully have a abetter understanding of what happened.

thanks again for a poignant video of these mysterious tragedies. my family and i were in yosemite camping and hiking 13 14 15 of sept 2015, i was struck by the missing people posters, just a photo and brief description, they were in diferent areas, bus stops etc, i thought it strange three young fit healthy men seperatly missing. i wondered if they had been found and safe, sadly not, my sympathies for a the loved ones, and i do hope we get to the bottom of whats going on. very odd indeed. your doing a great service, gone but not forgotten god bless.

The locations where bodies are found, the disappearances while in close proximity of other people, and the shoes!? WTH is going on in these places? The Kenny Miller disappearance/reappearance/disappearance has to be the most bizarre one yet.

How is it that when they came back to get the boys body it was gone? WUT KIND OF SORCERY IS GOING ON! I cant help but shake my head after every story. IM NEVER GOING CAMPING OR ON A HIKE! SCREW THAT!

Is there anyway we could put up broadcasting video cams and motion video cams night and day vision in the parks by water snd right off trails. I've saw this done before snd they work well. Can even hook them up to the internet to view anytime like the college in Norway does to search for UFOs. There is so much we do not know that exists out in the world. I know accidents happen. People get lost. But experienced, survivalist people park rangers seems like somethings up. I would before anything get am appointment with some of the elders/chiefs, medicine/holy men in Indian tribes. I promise they will know what is going on. That is if they decide to tell. I encourage David to do this maybe they will tell him even if he cannot print it or talk about it. At least he would know.

every time someone goes missing in a national park.we should start putting up there pics and worn people the great risk of you take by going in to our national parks. the government knows what going on.but they will never tell you the truth.what's really out there.it's so sad cause our life's mean nothing to them anymore.keep track of. who goes missing and where too.you just might save a life.it could be yours.

I was almost killed by a hairy giant aka bigfoot in SE Oklahoma while camping. Several people have went missing within a few miles of this spot near the Kiamichi mountains. If we would have been killed by this creature, we would be on the missing persons list and nobody would have known what happened, because bigfoots don't exist. We returned to the area with assault rifles to exact some revenge and pissed this thing off and he destroyed a vacant mobile home with his bare hands, knocked down a power pole and snapped several trees in half. The night of our violent encounter he pushed over or snapped a 2 foot diameter tree and knocked it down in the spot I had been standing moments before. After hunting these things, I've determined an ET ufo connection. I'm convinced we have a takeover of planet earth underway and these hairy giants are their foot soldiers that they're breeding up. They know most people aren't aware of their existence and an enemy that you don't know exists is an enemy that can continue without interference. If people ever become aware of what's going on, it would make their covert takeover harder to implement. They may be looking at an all out takeover a hundred or two hundred years from now when they eventually breed up sufficient numbers of these giants. It's like the war has started on a low level when people are out in the middle of nowhere with no witnesses present.

You do such wonderful interesting and professional work. I wonder if you would consider doing one of Top Ten strangest Cases of Amnesia. There are some odd stories I have read in the past of many people, perhaps suffering an injury or for whatever reason one day not knowing who they are and sometimes, they never find out.

#4 Kenny Millers body was recovered and buried.. You can find his grave at findagrave.com under the name Kenneth Franklin Miller year 1992. You can also read his obituary where it states he died from hypothermia.

I mean I get that quite a few of these disappearances are questionable no doubt but when I think of a person by themselves do you know how many wild animals are out there? I mean when a human being is alone it can be a snap of a finger and your a bear or a tigers dinner. I mean think about it. Like that boys body suddenly vanishing after they saw it below; sounds like a wild animal drug him away at ate him. Out there your a piece of meat to a wild animal.

Hi everyone. I've had a few responds to my post below but can not see those replies or contact those, please leave me a message on my channel here on YT. Don't understand why this happening, thanks!!

I have a theory. Honestly I think there are Indians that are still living in the wilderness. Or some type of tribal wilderness people. I think these people are abducting people alone for some reason. Maybe there is a ritual of some sort, or reason for the abduction and these people die of fear or starvation I don't know. At this point it's a mystery. Somebody knows or least has an idea on what's happening but it's probably too frightening or unbelievable to share with the public. My solution is to get a group of X military trained in stealth and survival. A group of at least 6 men. They'd probably have to be out there for a good 2 to 3 weeks. I know there's a report out there that shows all the hotspots in these disappearances in the national forest. Somebody back in civilization would have to track them at all times and be in some sort of radio contact. Along with several satellite links and so on. I guess whatever the latest greatest Technology is. my guess. Until there's a witness.
