After watching current events of other countries I suddenly became thankful we are living in peace here in Manila eventhough there is still poverty.

It’s crazy to me how many presidents Prime Minister‘s military leaders etc. are willing to have their entire country collapse or destroyed rather than step down or give up power. The greed for control is a common factor in all these places as is the loss of innocent lives. 😞

As a russian myself, I can say it's not that bad if you live in a big city. More rural areas though are fucked on so many levels. And it's been like this long before the war, because the organized crime group which is our government mostly cares about making their friends and families rich.

A friend of mine is originally from Russia. His family left shortly after the Soviet Union collapsed, and his father believed things would get worse over time if they stayed. He told me it was the best decision he’d ever made.

No one wants to see his own country in this list ... As a local citizen I can assure that the situation is much better now in IRAQ (still relatively bad though) where unfortunately there is an ongoing civil war in SUDAN ... Wishes for peace in all of the globe

It’s really sad how Terrorism, Wars, & Politics have created such a dangerous environment for all the countries listed. I don’t know what the future holds, but we can only hope that some higher power can make things right against the Evil that is plaguing the world today.

Not sure whether or not it's ironic that majority of these countries are Middle Eastern or African. Though I woulda thought Venezuela or Ethiopia would he here

I won't be surprised if Venezuela, Syria, or Yemen made it on this list. Seeing these countries in such terrible condition is just heartbreaking and let's hope that they get better in the future. Edit: Dang, I thought for sure Venezuela would be #1 instead of Afghanistan. Damn my country for invading it!

Very surprised my country Venezuela is not on the list, sure we’re not getting bombarded or fighting a war, but we’ve got the highest crime and corruption rates in the world with some of the most dangerous cities/states on the planet. Largest human diaspora for a country not at war, very sad stuff🇻🇪

Imagine if in 1968 everyone in the world suddenly thought all of Los Angeles wasn't safe anymore because of what happened to a presidential candidate (RFK). Fun fact: People all over the world buy insurance against being shot when they travel in the US. It's understandable with what movies have portrayed about "those countries south of our border" and given the fact that a foreign country/culture can feel scary (especially if one doesn't speak the majority language), but if one really stops and thinks about how dangerous the US is and considers that they don't feel unsafe as long as they make smart choices and avoid certain areas/cities/etc. they may find that their feelings about how unsafe a country is change.

I challenge anyone American who thinks we should be on list, to make multiple visits to any nation on the bottom of poverty lists. I have gone multiple times to Uganda which is actually one of the safest nation in Africa. It is a much less safe then this country and if you think otherwise talk to the natives. Like much of the developing world the US is the land of promise. Yes, they appreciate other nations but if asked where they would move to if they had to leave their own it is one sidedly us. This from a nation that was still a UK colony until 1963.

Most Africa and Middle East countries. The blame go to the first world. The latter they climb to get to where they are now was made from these countries. They wreck a continent and a sub continent to accelarate their development. Wreck in every sense; economic, social, cultural. And now, some citzen of those countries like to pretend they have nothing to do with the refugee crisis. Like their prosperity has not a direct link to why so many people are running from their home in search of a better life. Also, remember, not talking about things that happen centuries ago, the US and the europeans still had a lot of colonies in the beggining of second worlld war.

I find it absurd that there isn't a single Latin American country on this list. If you look at murder statistics (murders per capita), on the top 10 there are 7 Latin American countries! I know there are more factors than just murder rates in determining "dangerous", but come on...

So many countries need a stabilizing force, food, education, and civil rights. This list could be much longer with the three biggest reasons being corruption, food insecurity, and forcing religion into government. As much as the Republican party is trying to stop the separation between church and state we have no right to compare our issues with those of most of the world, I question those who think The United States should be on this list, do you really have the silver spoon so firmly up your nose that you do not see how wrong you are? The United States does have issues BUT there is zero compassion, I'll name a few reasons I say this. education is accessible to everyone, streets do not have human waste (you can walk in most places and Not dirty your shoes, do you know how lucky we are for this?), government oversight and accountability, we can get in our car and drive most anywhere we want without asking for permission (I am a where of the police issues we have), you can buy guns and openly say you are doing it in case the government does something you don't like (CRAZY), we can say what we want about our government without fear of being taken in the middle of the night or day, and just like this video if I named every reason you should be happy to live in the United States, we would be here for a very long time. Do you know how many people would die to live in a country like The United States? Maybe we should vote out those who wish to watch it all burn, people who are in government to break it then say see I told you it was broken, and people who know Nothing about the job they have and think there is an issue of people being over-educated, how dumb is that?
