This video is just a huge lie I've traveled to most of the places you mentioned ,and the only bad thing that happened to me was that I didn't have enough room in my stomach to eat all of there delicious food ,If they stole anything they stole my heart I will forever be grateful of the beauty and happiness they brought to my life ,you are misinforming people what's not cool
I spent 2.5 weeks in Bogota, Colombia (and surrounding area) when I was 16. Despite it being well-known for drug crime, we were fine. It wasn't until riots broke out due to income and politics, that our safety became a concern. Ultimately, my team and I had to rescued by the Colombian military. It was quite eventful! Even so, it's a beautiful place to visit!
I've lived in Bogota for 4 years and in Rio for my whole life, I'm safe I've gone to the beach since I was 3 I went to favelas many time oml guys I'm alive this guy is kjskjal
This is so stupid, I’m living 40 km away from Cape Town and have been to the Mother City many many times in my life, have never ever been feeling unsafe, never. The people of South Africa have been trying to uplift our country for many years and we are so tired of all the negative media rapport. EVERY city in the world have unsafe areas. Tourists on the whole don’t go to these areas. Cape Town is still one of the most exciting and beautiful places to visit, with friendly people, amazing hotels and restaurants as well as great things to see and do. And relatively cheap for tourists from America, England and Europe. And just for the record, the people of Bangkok Thailand are friendly and it is a GREAT city to visit, I have been there for about 20 times and have never felt unsafe.
I live in Cape town, and I partially agree with you. I wouldn't say it is the safest. It depends where you live. people get murdered, raped and mugged here all day long.
Bangkok..I think this needs updating doesn’t it..you can be mugged or scammed anywhere in the world..why don’t you name the countries where anyone can carry a gun..
I've been taking vacations to Peru since 1996. That lasted at least a month long. It aint as bad as this video says. But it's dangerous there, but then again what place is 100% safe.
i only watched the whole thing to see the crocodiles from the cover pic and find out what that was about. its dangerous anywhere u are if u underestimate people and think crime wont occur
roarfunky seems like u never got out of the house to see the world dont talk about things u dont know for person living in mumbai city it is the most cooperative place u can find urself but ofcourse u aint gonna believe me cause u still living under a rock where ur source of information is youtube n facebook
roarfunky what a fucking stupid ignorant dumbfuck u r man seriously u r the bench mark for it u r like that guy who never got into a swimming pool n is trying to teach michael phelps how to swim u dumb u really really dumb
picture shown in 1.05 is the picture of Thai ppl crying while praying for their King to get well from his sickness. Politic issue occured twice in 4 decades!
I have not been to any of this place, Hope too one day, this video helped me to have peace of mind. I do believe that dangers are all around you no matter where you are.
+Ndalo ziqubu well yah... I mean Johannesburg experiences more murders than cape town... and I know that because I live in Pretoria. I would much rather live in Cape town
LMFAO!!!! this is awesome because as a 53 year old woman born an raised in THE USA none of these countries listed I have NEVER EVER wanted to visit so GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
Just want to add that Cape Town is definitely NOT a dangerous place. There are areas like any city that are not suggested to be in at certain times. But definitely not as dangerous as they say.
+fameallaround Actually, I was born in Thailand and I'm still living in Thailand. Peaceful so far, this RU-vidr's facts are half true and half false. I know several friends who are tourists and they havent been pickpocketed yet, and is still in Thailand.
actually rio de janeiro is next to the city i live in. I go there all the time and walk through beaches and streets (even at night) and I have never been mugged or harmed there
Regarding 6:42, the narrator describes "alligators" in Pattaya, Thailand. However those reptiles are actually crocodiles instead of alligators. Watch the difference between crocodiles & alligators @ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3fdq3-TFT8Y.html
I was in Peru 5 years ago. We drove in locked cars with a experienced guide and only walked around in "good safe places". Never in teh slums or anything like that. Its the most beautiful country i ever have seen and Machu Picchu is magnificent.
this video is ass just go to peru don't wear expensive stuff on you and rio yeah be careful chiefs are every where one time in MY HOTEL i got robbed these chiefs are smart i left my bag under my chair at my table and went to get food from the buffet and they came stole my bag and but another black backpack there to make it look as if nothing ever happened and never go to beach at night theres always crooks armed with machetes and rifles its bad if you do go be careful stay in public areas. but don't worry its a nice city go visit it man
Peru hasn't had terrorist problems since the 1980's and also had major cities through out the coast. Drug cartels are in the northern rural area or even in the boarding countries. Also Machu Pichu isn't the the only source of tourism like you made it seem. Do more research before a video is made next time, I'm sure more people from or that have background from the counties/cities mentioned feel misrepresented too.
Just got back from Mumbai . Walked with my Nikon + iPhone and cash. No issues whatsoever . One cab driver gave me a discount as I was a visitor. Women are safe in Mumbai. If anything New Delhi maybe .
I mean for the most part, if you look like a clueless idiot, some people will try to take advantage of you...otherwise just look like you're in a natural setting and know where you're going. If they perceive your attitude as "Business as usual" they most likely won't even consider you a target at all.
CC-4142 Lock My insight only extends to Mexico and Nicaragua...I spent many summers there, not as a tourist...in the regular community areas visiting family. For the most part it wasn't peachy at all, but it was practically just a matter of making sure you didn't stand out.
I surely thought Las Vegas would be on here. There were so many bums on the streets at night, that I didn't feel comfortable leaving the hotel at night.
@@meerkibaatain4771 India has one of the lowest rates of Rape, recorded per 100,000 of the population, in the world. genworldnews.blogspot.com/2018/04/rape-in-india-seems-to-have-no.html
I went to Colombia,Bogotá and I'm in love with it, the city couldn't be more open with their tourist, so NO I do not find colombia 🇨🇴 a place where you should worry about yourself
watching this video if you are a weak scary type person you would never see the world and all its beauty. you know there are people that have come to vist us in the states and never made it back home this includes foreign college students. be careful anywhere you go and be aware but explore and enjoy life.
You need to do better research. Dominican Republic and Haiti are totally different. I’ve been to both and I fell in love with Dominican Republic. The people are amazing, the food is great and the beaches are out of this world.
Mumbai is uite safe place, even majority of Indian places, as the Indian police cares about the travellers. Kindly update your video. You can find a huge number of happy travellers.
What you said about Israel is completely false. No rockets or bombs have ever "leveled" parts of any city & you can count on one hand the number of tourists have been killed or harmed during the past decade. I have lived in Israel for the past 6 years so I know what I am talking about. I have traveled to many tourist destinations and even Israel parts of the W. Bank and I can tell you Israel is far more safe than London, Paris, Stockholm. Yes there are dangerous parts that should be avoided just like there are dangerous parts of Chicago, LA & NY that should be avoided, but these are not in tourist areas.
yes, there has but it only happened because sometimes tourists don't believe that talking bad about the king and the prime minister will get them in trouble so they got in trouble and also sometimes there are people who hates our country and decides to be an asshole by killing innocent tourists
plzz dont giving wrong infirmation my mumbai because u added my city most dangours city in the world can u explain wht type of danger happen in my city and our police is one of the greatest police force in world they always take care of all foreign tourist very well so i truly not following your bad video.....
You're not being truthful. I do believe some modern cities should have been added. But India has one of the most dangerous borders on the entire planet. Corrupt government officials. Crime is rampant, poverty is rampant. Many videos have circulated the internet of obscene brutality amongst each other. Whether it be rape on the streets or insane mob mentalities.
@@anonymous-jw4nt , Instead of relying on these RU-vid videos better come to India & then talk about it. It is a very vast country & some here and there happens but that doesn't mean the whole country is bad. There are 100 of good videos about India. Seems that you intentionally avoid to see those due to your prejudiced mind.
In India a 13 year girl will be burn with acid because she doesn't want to go out with a 20 year old man... The man does it so he can out his horror back! Ask the women of India if it's a safe place!

Fake video, the the publisher have no idea about India and its places. You just have to change your mindset to see the beautiful world. Leave apart India, Mumbai has been the safest place in the world.
Golden Rule of Staying Safe: 'IF IN DOUBT ... DON'T!' If you are not going all-inclusive for f***s sake know the score and do your homework about your destination. Everywhere has 'no go' areas no matter which nation they are located in especially cities. Know the names of areas and of districts that sources like guidebooks or Trip Advisor tell you to avoid and for what reason so you know what to look for if you wander into these by accident. Remain in a heightened situational awareness or vigilance state by taking the precautions you are advised or know to take - many of the crimes committed against tourists are by opportunists who spot someone who has dropped their guard / thinks they know it all. Stay safe and enjoy your holidays :o)
Born and bred in Cape Town and am wondering if the place being spoken about is the same city I live in. Like most cities and countries around the world, we have our issues but we have amazingly friendly people and awe-inspiring beauty. Facts based on statistics and not real-life experience. Come to Cape Town, it is beautiful here.
Yep it's all bullshit ...how can they publicly announce a country like India to be unsafe for tourists😡😡 nd moreover Mumbai... the reasons they have put r all vague. Shame on them😖
Thailand isn't that bad. I've been there 3 times and stayed in Bangkok in the "bad part of town" with all the gogo bars and aside from the drunk Austrailians causing fights, I haven't seen anything other than the scams that happen in every other foreign city. That doesn't mean you can walk down dark streets alone though. Stick with the people, don't accept offers from people trying to "help" you and you will do just fine!!
Well I'm from Bangkok Thailand but I don't speak Thai because I never learned but I been there to visits my family and I live there not while Thailand or Bangkok is bad there are so many beautiful parts in Thailand just to let you know and Bangkok is not a very dangerous city so please don't accuse my country you know the whole world is a dangerous place so yea there are bad people everywhere 😐
Mumbai is quite safe. I have known quite a number of solo female travelers who made it through Mumbai and other parts of india and they liked it...I myself lived in Mumbai and if you mind your own business nobody would bother you. Same goes for Thailand. There are lot more unsafe places around the world!
i've visited most of those places, except for Cape Town, Haiti, Pattaya and Acapulco. The Dominican Republic is quite pacefull, Peru also, if you don't stray too far from inhabited places. I Nearly died of boredom in Rio de Janeiro, though'
What about Chicago, New York, Detroit, Baton Rouge, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Dallas to name but a few. Don't point fingers if your own backyard is dirty......
I have been to Mumbai and its totally fine for tourists. I have seen the video to know whether this guy is really have knowledge on what he says.. After telling Mumbai name, I came to know wt matters..
