@@Gamerx2000CR yeah, I agree. I think it's all a matter of tone. I even found the first saw movie to be very mildly creepy (not nearly enough to be considered disturbing, but I was a bit unnerved at the situation and premise) but after that it all became a cheese fest. Very enjoyable imo (I think its messiness adds to its charm lol) but not at all scary.
Yeah I’m the same way. I’m not scared of Freddy, Jason, werewolves, or xenomorphs. Movies like Last House on the Left disturbed me as it was real people doing terrible things
@@Gamerx2000CR Ive never seen SAW but, Ive heard it wasnt scary. Just like super gross? Like My sister watched and wasnt scared. She just said it was disgusting lol.
As a horror fan from Serbia, I still always feel the inexplicable need to apologize for its existence every time it's mentioned... Similarly to "Nekromantik", its only purpose is rebelling against the strict censorship policies in Serbia, and making it as disturbing as possible while purposefully naming it "A Serbian Film", to spite the government. So, yeah, anyone who tries to defend it and advocate for its quality in any single way - it's not art nor cinema, it's just an attempted (and failed) political statement that used unsettling topics that have nothing to do with its "message". It's not supposed to be liked by anyone, it's just supposed to be hated by politicians.
When I was younger, I was absolutely terrified to even think of going to southern or Eastern Europe because of the large amount of insane horror movies that are set there (particularly the themes of adult human abuse/murder/voyeurism). Was such a mind f*ck for younger me to process. 😖
@@nolaray1062 Hostel making Slovakia look like a crime-ridden grey horrendous place when, in reality, it's a very clean nice country with friendly people lol
@@superwhofancestlavie3664 I've travelled everywhere on a tight budget and never got kidnapped by a murderous group 🤷🏼♀️ not saying they don't exist but I don't think you'd find them in most European countries
I got mugged and hit in the head with a baseball bat, had a psychotic break. The movie Mother was the closest example of what I experienced. The most terrifying thing I've ever gone through.
Mother disturbed me for two reasons: - all the people coming into the house and disrespecting the hell out of Jennifer Lawrence in her damn house ramped my anxiety to a level I can’t explain - that goddamn BABY SCENE MY GOD
There is a biblical undertone to the story. Watch it again and you will see its a story about mother earth, god, adam and eve, and how people are fucked up. It was so disturbing but its really creative
I've only seen the couple repeatedly not listen to her when she tells them to get off the sink. It caused enough anxiety alone to make me not want to watch the entire movie ever.
I had to leave the room after the baby scene and had that scene not been in that movie it would not be on my list of movies I never want to watch again
That's the two most biblical references in the film. The first you mentioned describes how people came into Nature World (which representation is Jennifer Lawrence's character) and quickly become to destroy everything Mother Nature built with her own hands. And the second obviously represents Jesus, who was killed and that was the sacrifice for purifying the sins of all people
What I’ve found for myself is that stories about mortal danger don’t usually upset me too much, they are often exciting but usually it stays firmly in the “fun uncomfortable” zone for me. Stories about pointless suffering, especially torturing of innocents, make me feel a dozen shades of awful. Mainly a mix of depressed, disturbed, and sick with overwhelming anger.
I left the theater after seeing Hereditary thinking I loved it and wanted to see it again but I literally could not bring myself to watch it again for another two years. It is so psychologically horrifying and emotionally draining
My daughter & I watched it twice & loved how well made & truly scary it was then we watched Midsomer. THAT is a movie I can’t get out of my head. I still have a hard time looking at bears.
I think a scene I constantly think about when I think of this movie is the part where the boy freaks out in the classroom and starts hyperventilating. I’ve had my fair share of Panic Attacks in a classroom and that scene of him freaking out just feels so relatable oddly enough.
Mother was definitely biblical. Husband is God, Jennifer is Mother Nature, the people who show up are Adam and Eve, Eve eats the fruit which is that thing he was protecting. Their children were Cain and Abel.
@@JA-ev7om More specifically, Christians, what with the whole notion of killing the son of God and eating his flesh via communion. Overall, it's about the violence caused by religions, as we see people turning into different factions, executing those with different allegiances, full-blown wars erupting, etc.
The most disturbing movie I've ever watched is "An American Crime" which was the same as the girl next door. The story of Sylvia Likens, the girl who was tortured by her neighbor. In this version, Syliva was played by Elliot page. I've watched a lot of disturbing stuff but this movie was so hard to stomach I had to keep pausing it. It's because it was a real story. That's what made it so difficult. Just thinking about what this child had to endure. Still makes me feel sick just thinking about it. It reminded me a lot of the Junko Furuta case. And if you know that case then I don't even need to explain how distressing that case was which is why I refuse to watch any movies about it.
For me without a doubt the most disturbing and upsetting movies I’ve ever seen are “An American Crime” and “Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door”. Both based off the real life torture slaying of a young girl named Sylvia Likens. Truly tragic, disturbing, and heartbreaking films that stay with you for life.
@@dimitrakapa4887 movies have power, you know? that's the whole point of enjoying cinema, feeling what the movie wants you to feel, and mother! does that perfectly
I feel like I'm alone in this but midsommar truly shocked me at some very disturbing scenes and I thought I was going to have to walk out after the first scene. So glad I didn't though because I love that movie.
No girl, you are far from alone. I think it’s a awesome movie (partly because of Florence Pugh’s extraordinary performance!), but not one that I can watch several times, like I can ‘Halloween’ or ‘Rosemary’s Baby’. It kind of hurt my soul to watch it because I immersed myself into Dani’s character (accidentally way too much) & it was like an acid trip where I was experiencing what she was & I was having feelings as if all of that was happening to me. On that note- ALL HAIL ARI ASTER!! It’s an incredible movie though. I’ve watched it twice & one day I would like to watch it again. ‘Mother’ however, was one long panic attack for me. NO THANKS! And damnit I wanted to like that movie. Jennifer Lawrence did a fantastic job with ‘Mother’. She has stated that it was tough on her at times very intense. I think it takes a certain type of actor to nail this role, I can’t imagine it with anyone else. As far as Aronofsky’s other films, I enjoyed ‘Black Swan’. ‘Requiem for a Dream’ is high on my best movies of all time list, but I literally will not & cannot watch it ever again. I’m grateful that I experienced it in a rather art-house type theatre. When it was over, my gfriend & I sat there in silence for about 10 long minutes just digesting it.
the scene with the elders jumping off the cliff scarred me, just because of how nonchalant the cult members were and how it turned the whole movie around...
I think something that stood out to me about this movie is how it could be so beautiful and horrifying at the same time. The stark contrast between how Horror movies are usually set in dark places compared to Midsommar’s Broad daylight background. The realization that the cult truly believes that what they’re doing is justified because they grew up in these conditions. I’ve appreciate how vastly different it is to other movies in the genre.
Eden Lake and Wolf Creek were definitely two of the most brutal, agonizing, and disturbing movies I’ve ever seen. No movies have made me sob to the point I couldn’t see the way those did.
eden lake yes. and watch these it will distrub for whole life "the girls next door" and "an american crime" both are true story movies .... i suggest not to watch as it will remain for whole like it is more distrubing than eden lake....
😐 yeah, eden lake was rough. the ending was absolutely brutal. what's disturbing is that there's real sickos out there just like them. more of them than you'd ever imagine.
I'm glad that you're so outspoken about things that you don't like or can't handle in horror films. I'm also super sensitive to things and so I feel safe in taking your recommendations because I know that we have similar tastes and tolerances.
I really liked mother! So much because I didn’t intend on watching it at all, so I watched a break down of it that went through the biblical references. Half way through I decided just to watch it and I really did enjoy it. I don’t think I would have liked it so much if I hadn’t watched the other video first
Hereditary is one of my favorite movies ever. It disturbed me and I loved it. However after losing someone close to me last year and experiencing grief for the first time ever, I had rewatched Hereditary and realized that now it disturbs me to another level. It’s like after experiencing grief, the movie really affected me.
December of 2023 and I'm only now finding this video. I recently re-watched Hereditary with my boyfriend. He loves violent things and supernatural stuff but couldn't make it through it. He absolutely hated it. I was a little surprised, I'd enjoyed it.
Not the most disturbing movie that i've watched, but "We Need to Talk About Kevin" left me emotionally devastated, some images are still burned in my mind years after seeing it. I loved it so much but can't watch it again lol
i hated it personally and thought it was all laughable but he did much much much better with midsommar even though that wasn’t scary either or really disturbing
I don’t hold many regrets in life. But, A Serbian Film is amongst them. It changed me as a person for a week and it is rare that some of the images don’t cross my mind on a daily basis. There’s some things you just can’t unsee. If you’re curious about the movie just READ a review rather than watch the movie.
Yeah it’s pretty bad.. I hear of disturbing movies and I have to watch, I end up regretting it, but it’s like a car wreck, I can’t look away. August underground’s mordum fucked me up the most.. It’s been almost 10 years and I still can’t get the images out of my head..
After many years I have managed to not think about this movie all that much. I was way too young when I saw it. All because my friend's older sister told me that is was the most disturbing movie she had ever seen. Naturally I thought "Duh, how bad could it be" Well... Hated the experience. There was just no point. People like to pretend it's social critique of just provocative but no. Just no.
No really. That movie got so intense. My mind instantly goes to the middle/ end of the movie, I've still never seen a movie move that fast and fluently.
Darron aronofsky made a movie called the fountain and it's not a horror film but it's phenomenal, I hate Mother but the fountain is so good and has the best score. You should check it out.
idk why but midsommar has always comforted me. I think it might be because its supposed to be like trippy and weird but I just love the colors and the whole trippy thing and then after the movie when I first watched it I felt so weird. its such a pretty movie!
I also love Midsommer. Visually stunning, superb acting, intense and emotional. I also very pleased that it was a happy ending for Danny. She found her place and family. In my interpretation lol.
thats my problem with watching most horror movies 😭😭 even the less disturbing ones i always can experience/feel what the victims are going through and after it leaves me so uncomfortable
Martyrs is definitely one that sticks with you. How it changes gears so frequently and still all works and leaves you with that big question at the end...more than just a horror movie and I think people just give it a try.
It is an impactful movie but I don’t think I would ever recommend it to anyone. I think like 95% of people either wouldn’t stomach it or not really get the point which is understandable because it’s pretty intense throughout.
Hard Candy is a disturbing one that I don’t hear many people talk about. It’s one of those movies that you watch once and never want to watch again. Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson gave amazing performances to say the least.
.... I've watched it a couple dozen times by now. I don't quite get why people find it AS disturbing as they do. I'm not saying it's _not disturbing at all_ but I thought it was a pretty standard revenge thriller. Certainly no darker than the Spit On Your Grave-esque horrors?
Yes, I feel like that one should have one giant trigger warning attached to it. I don’t think anybody with any kind of body dysmorphic thoughts should watch it at all.
In case you need a list to refer back to: Mother Martyrs The Lodge The Snowtown Murders Dead End Hereditary Human Centipede 2 ABC’s of Death (L and X) Oldboy A Serbian Film
Yes human centipede 2 so disturbing !! Years later I still think about it .. I never watched Serbian film thankfully saw enough videos explaining it ..
it is really good if u know what it is about, u should read more about it, it is not all about the "gross" stuff ,i really like the movie but the disgusting scenes really didn't need to be made it is too much tbh 🙄
Whenever I went to see Mother in theaters the guy next to me was wearing a cowboy hat, and when THE scene with the baby happened he stood up and took his hat off 😂
I dunno why that got me but it did. 😂😂😂 (also its cowboy hat etticuit however thats spelled to take your hat off indoors but esp at things where it could keep people from seeing. So it shoulda been off from the start. But thats just how i was raised. Lol)
Recently watched Requiem for a Dream and I didn't think it would give me so much anxiety. Great movie but I don't think I could sit through that again.
I watched it when I was too young to know what it was really about, but no matter, it still terrified me so much that I didn’t ever want to do drugs! Scared me straight! Lol
'Mother!' Is soooo good but randomly deciding to watch it in the middle of the night out of curiosity, was a bad idea. That movie is the definition of ANXIETY! Seeing it a few times since then, I absolutely love it. This is a great list btw!!
thank you so much for including Mother! Jennifer did such a brilliant job playing this character, and the baby scene absolutely messed me up for weeks to the point that i could not eat anything
@@cloudymew in the end of the movie a very big group of worshippers of jennifers husband take jennifer’s (who is just labeled as mother) newborn baby and rip him apart and all eat him
One of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen is Starve (2014). It's about people who end up trapped in a high school and they have to kill each other to be given food. I made the mistake of eating while watching it and almost vomited a few times because it was so graphic. Some of the ways people are injured and killed stuck with me so much that I still have the occasional nightmare, and I watched the movie almost four years ago.
OMG SAME! I’m so happy someone else has the same thoughts because I really can’t find anyone who feels the same about this movie. It still is stuck with me to this day, I believe I watched it over Covid because I wanted new horror movies to watch and I had to fast forward and even leave the room a view times
IMPORTANT NOTICE for Martyrs. Stay far far away from the 2015 American remake. It is awful. I remember if you look up Martyrs on Prime, the 2015 American remake is the first thing that pops up. Do not make that mistake for those who haven't seen it. Look for the 2008 French version.
@@Hello-jm3qq yes, sorry for the late response. but yes it is way better with the subtitles. It's one of those movies where the story is so good , you are used to the subtitles and want to know more.
I watched Mother! when I was 9 months pregnant and 100% do not recommend doing that lol. It was a great film but honestly the most stressful thing I have ever seen. I will probably never watch it again but it is one of the best horror films I have ever seen simply for the fact it truly horrified me.
I watched the original Pet Semetery when my son was the same age as the little boy in that movie. I know what you mean. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the terror is so much more visceral when you relate to it as a mother.
Never had a kid and never will but I have a nephew as of recently and that baby scene literally shocked me at how graphically grotesque it was. I was also with rage (I’m a somewhat angry person) at the husband for not defending his family!!
Currently pregnant and I was thinking about watching Mother! But after hearing about the baby scene I’m SO GLAD I didn’t watch it. I’m already so protective of my baby I would have a mental breakdown
I TRAFFIC in extreme film experiences. It is my goal to see everything disturbing or raw that is horror or horror adjacent. Idk why. It's something I got into as a 14 year old edgelord and the interest has just evolved rather than going away. That said, that scream in hereditary is one that inspired a very real very physical reaction in me. It took me mega off guard I wasn't ready. It was pure pain. I don't know who or what she channeled when she cried out like that but it was intense
It's funny you mentioned being an Atheist who likes religious stories, because that thing is exactly what got me into the music of Lingua Ignota. I think it was Anthony Fantano that described her lyrical content as her exploring a "morbid curiosity with religion" which is pretty fitting. I recently saw her in concert and she played a full set of church hymns with creepy titles like "Satan's Jeweled Crown" and it was just the best. I think that morbid curiosity perfectly describes a lot of horror fans who like movies with religious undertones.
Hereditary gave me the heaviest feeling of anxiety I've ever experienced while watching a film. Like actually sick to my stomach waiting for THAT scene to progress. Imo it didn't even need the visual. The facial expressions and passage of time was enough
14:46 "I can't stand films that are graphic for the sake of being graphic." Same here! Part of the reason why I'm really not a fan of what my mom dubbed "hack 'em up" horror is because it's just people getting killed in gruesome ways without rhyme or reason. My preferred genre is supernatural horror.
@@MentalDeviant I don't blame you for getting sick of supernatural films. We're at a point where so many keep getting made and there are only a few rare gems mixed up in piles of cliched shlock. Believe me, I've noticed, so I understand. And I don't hate slashers, it just depends on what it is. For instance, in recent years I've become a Nightmare on Elm Street fan, helped along but its supernatural elements & Robert Englund's fantastic performance as Freddy.
Yeah, I prefer spooky, psychological stuff. I'm not a fan of gore for the sake of gore. That's why I never got into the Saw franchise. I respect it for what it is, but it never clicked with me. I would rather watch Suspiria or Bride of Frankenstein or something.
I remember watching mother and just being so confused the whole time. I came into it wanting to analyze the plot, but i feel like i just have to sit there and go with the flow of chaos. I want to re-watch it now
I did not watch it, and literally just read it off the wiki (i don't plan to watch it especially since someone 'warned' me about it) but it's pretty clear (in the wiki) that it's about religion and symbolism. About mother nature, God, Adam and Eve and their kids and God's followers/fans, and the house to be earth. The baby I think is Jesus (not super sure) since Mother didn't wanna give them to the fans, but low and behold God gives them the baby and it dies (a reference to crucifixion) and then eating him bc there's a saying where we eat the body of Jesus, you know those tiny flat things you eat at church. We take Mother Nature and her home (earth) for granted. So keep an eye out for those symbolisms if you ever rewatch it. It's sounds super interesting, but I'm too cautious for that bc I don't wanna accidentally traumatize myself.
Kennedy Morris my roommate showed me the trailer as like a “ha ha look at this stupid movie” thing and I was so disturbed and grossed out just from the trailer I can’t
@Calista Capizzi It's basically The Human Centipede but instead of a few people being forcibly turned into a centipede-esque monstrosity, it's a single douchebag that's surgically altered to become a walrus.
When I was in high school I had heard about this movie called A Serbian Film. Me being the horror fan that I am I thought "there's no way it's as bad as people say it is". I couldn't have been more wrong. That movie is the only movie I have ever seen that actually scarred me mentally. At the end of the movie I felt hollow inside and I felt like throwing up. I will never watch it again. It disturbed me to my core.
u explained my relationship w hereditary SO WELL!! like ive seen it once, and my brother who hasn't seen it wants to watch it with me....and i literally couldn't tell why i didn't wanna watch it again....like he was so confused (as was i). like i thought it was a good movie i just dont wanna put myself through it again
The remake of Suspiria, while I loved it so very much, I can’t bring myself to watch it again. And if you’ve seen it you know the one “dance” scene that makes it that way
I am a huge fan of the original Suspiria. And told myself I would never watch the remake because I just don't like many remakes. But I did watch this one and actually loved it. I thought it was great! But yes, if you're talking about that scene with the mirrors, that was extremely disturbing.
@@1ivingdeadgr189 SAME! After watching the movie, I had to read about it because I did not understand it but after reading it it all made so much sense!
I 1000% agree with you on the “ABC’s of Death-L” entry. I think I’ve forgotten most of the stories but hearing you mention that one reminded me what it was about. I remember it took me quite a while to forget about it after I watched the whole movie. It is definitely something that is NOT ok no matter which way you look at. I felt that way before I became a mom and that feeling was reinforced tenfold once I became a mom (speaking specifically about a certain part of that entry-if you’ve seen it then you know what I mean).
Hereditary is absolutely the most disturbing movie I’ve ever seen. I can’t rewatch it, though just by saying that I kind of want to rewatch it. I really shouldn’t though. I’ve realized I get the most scared and feel the most disturbed when something is extremely sad at the same time as being scary. The Orphanage scared me a lot as well for being both scary and sad.
I agree about the disturbing and sad thing. The movies that disturbed me the most were sad too. A movie can be really shocking but at the end of the day if you don't really CARE... Then it's just a story.
I agree that hereditary was really disturbing. I had no idea what was going to happen before I watched. I don't think I could even speak for 30 minutes. And the brothers reaction was wild. But the mom...OMG as a mother, i cant even!! I for sure wont ever watch it again.
I LOOVE your channel and your horror film tastes are usually aligned with mine, and it's interesting to hear your reaction to "mother!". I actually really liked that movie and have seen it about 3 times and will probably see it again. Yes it gets brutal, but I also thought if it's about what I think it is, it's dead on! Hit the nail on the head and I found it horrifying, disturbing, but also quite satisfying lol
Oldboy is the most disturbing movie for me. That twist is HIGHLY disturbing Also, I haven't seen this one so gonna add it: A Clockwork Orange. Yeah, I never have to see that movie again.
i found a strange sense of comfort by the end of mother, midsommar, and hereditary. typically in my opinion movies w an a list cast aren’t gonna b super horrible
I havent seen mother but i agree on the other two, i think its bc of how the final shot is framed, how the actors look at the camera and the scene behind them, it was like relief after so much tension and anxiety
I get most disturbed by films that feel like snuff. The short “Second Honeymoon” from V/H/S is one of the most disturbing things i’ve seen, basically watching someone get stalked and ends in a horrifying, brutal way. Sinister also freaked me out for obvious reasons; most people consider it disturbing.
I rented Hereditary on Thankgiving. Took it to my sisters and had dinner and decided to watch it after. This movie gave me so much anxiety. I almost puked. Everytime I pass a telephone pole I think about that scene. I will never watch it again. And my family has forever banned me from renting movies for family night.
Same experience, watched The Lodge in a completely empty theatre and the score to that movie, the piano keys, really chilling in. an. empty. movie. theater 👀
The anaphylaxis scene in Hereditary really hit me as someone with that exact same allergy. That was scarier to me than anything else in the film. Its was shockingly accurate.
You are absolutely not alone in finding Hereditary disturbing. *That* image (don’t wanna spoil it but if you’ve seen the movie you know exactly what I’m talking about) has stuck with me for a long, long time, longer than any other scene from a horror film
”A Serbian Film”, is the absolutely, by far, the worst movie I’ve ever seen. and probably ever will see. wish I could erase the movie from my memory and mind.
Didn't like it at all. Seemed like it tried way too hard just to offend. I did like HC2 (Only the second one), and you can probably say the same about that one. I think that one is much better. I like it black and white aesthetic and that it build on the first one in an original way. Plenty gross as well
Funny that everyone has such a strong reaction to a Serbian film- after hearing so much about it, I finally sat down and watched it. Not nearly as horrifying or disturbing for me personally, but I see why it would upset people, because the content matter was just gross. Even if the director claims the movie was made to “fight” child abuse in the sex industry, it just seemed like it was glorifying rape and child abuse for fun.
I read it was a social commentary on Serbian culture and how indifferent Serbian society was becoming to violence, sex and depravity. Someone on Tumblr made a really good post explaining all the different scenes and I thought it was really good especially explaining the ending and what it represented. Personally I think the commentary can apply to most western cultures as well.
I think most people have a hard pass with anything involving children. I know I do. It's just something I know I'm not up for. And I genuinely get upset when I watch anything with the abuse of children. I think it feels to real with children of my own. I can watch some pretty disturbing stuff, but that's just a line I don't cross.
I don't think it glorified it, it was made to callout how so much of the major film industry, sex or otherwise, just completely ignore when abuse like that happens within the industry especially when the people doing it are major figures. It shows people who glorify it, it doesn't glorify it itself. If that makes sense jksdfa
I’m so glad you put Hereditary on this list! I have been watching horror movies for a long time and this movie…I just can’t. I can’t pinpoint exactly why, but it messed me up! I was thinking about it days later. I thought maybe I was just being ridiculous…now I feel better. Lol. Love your channel!
“Dear Zachary” isn’t even a horror film (it’s a documentary) but the subject matter and turn of events it captured stuck with me for days!! It’s such a good documentary so I still recommend it-I just don’t think many people would want to rewatch it.
The movie that disturbed me was I Spit On Your Grave. The rape scenes turned my stomach and the revenge . And the revenge is not that bad. I guess cuz the one gun was violating the guy and it was like another rape. I dunno if anyone gets what i mean. But as a rape survivor it was hell. And that you know anyone is capable. Irs totally realistically possible. Its not like ..ohh i dunno a creature movie. The violence against one woman is just jarring. Oh and another one that also shook me was Last House on the Left. I can never look at the actors that portray these just horrible men that just steal a womans soul away the same after. I know its " not them".. but they do a damn good job of the part.
@@ms.ladywilliams5800 im guessing because it is relatable and so raw and violent. It grabs you. Its an effective ( although extremely terrifying and ptsd enducing) imagery. And thats what they want to do ..grab your attention. Shake you to your core. I can do without it though so i hope they come up with a warning that is more specific than just r-rated so those of us who would rather not have the horrible thoughts and feelings of discomfort we can skip these films.
@@DG-ez4bo No not that one the remake from 2010. Although i had seen clips at some point of the original but they obviously werent allowed to show much. Theres been several movies in the franchise.
It's so interesting to compare what is disturbing for one versus what is disturbing for others. It's why the horror genre is so cool to me. It's really fun to dig into why things upset us or disturb us in a good way or in a bad way! Like ABCs of Death, to me, Y was disturbing in an AMAZING way that stuck with me, whereas I'm with you, L was NOT my disturbing cup of tea! Mother was one that I think could have bothered me but I was so frustrated with its story that I think my own bad attitude kept me safe LOL. And I won't revisit it because I think we would be on the same page. But as usual, a dope vid!
I literally could not watch that scene in Hereditary when I saw the movie for a second time. Not necessarily that exact scene, but the aftermath. The son just going on really killed me.
when i saw ''mother'' i felt like i was actually going insane omg. i dont think i could ever watch it again. i saw martyrs maybe ten years ago, and i will never be able to forget that movie. the whole thing has really stuck with me

@@beccamason3712 there are def worse movies out there. This movie just felt very real. That last scene where the kid is putting on the man's sunglasses. Man that scene haunted me.
