just wanted to clarify my comment in the beginning, my cat has diagnosed OCD from his vet! you might know I’m a mental health advocate and have a degree in psychology, I am the last person to throw around a term like OCD as a descriptor.

What Keeps You Alive is currently on Netflix. SO GOOD. Fear Dot Com, Starry Eyes Triangle are on Amazon Prime. Frailty is available to watch for free on RU-vid and Tubi. At least in the U.S. for all of these. Also, have you seen Strangeland? It's a cheesy '90s horror with Dee Snider. It's similar to Fear Dot Com and super bizarre.

eden lake might not be one of the most visually disturbing horror films there are however when i was watching it, i had barely gone through the first half of the movie and i encountered myself doing something i think i have never done for a horror film, i was hoping and praying that the protagonists wouldn’t encounter the antagonists, and the fact that it was barely the first half of the movie therefore they were bound to meet at least once again made me so anxious and nervous, that it almost made me happy that a horror film made me feel stuff again… it was definitely hugely disturbing to me because of how it put me inside the story. huge recommendation

Not sure if some of these are more thriller than horror though. Also, your kitty may do better with one of the inflatable collar/cones than the plastic one it has right now-its easier for them to eat. You could also try a cat booty for the one foot. Just a thought Id share in case its helpful. I know what works for one pet may not work for another.

Sarah, is there any chance you can talk about We Go On? It's on Shudder! I recommend watching it with headphones specifically since it's very audio-driven. I have been _BEGGING_ horror RU-vidrs like yourself to talk about We Go On since it first came out, it _never_ got any attention on RU-vid which is so sad. It's not that it's a mindblowing story or anything but the audio-driven fear atmosphere is so incredibly well done. And the makers of the movie are really interactive with the tiny audience that did see and love the movie. Especially now that it's on Shudder I'm really hoping more people will talk about it.

Love the channel. I think more love for 2002's 'May' (why does no-one speak of that film anymore?), and 2012's 'Excision', if you're looking for the more obscure killer horror/thriller films. :)

I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen/ talked about this movie before but you should check out (it’s a zombie movie) Dead meat released in 2004 it’s an Irish horror that takes mad cow disease and twists it into a very interesting take on the genre. Please share your thoughts with us?

Yeah agreed, I’m actually a big fan of zombie films, but I like them a little bit different, like the scene where the lead female actress sucks out a zombies eye n whatever else with an old school vacuum, can’t say I’ve ever seen that before this movie or after this movie.it is definitely a fun watch!!!

Session 9 (2001) in my opinion is very underrated. Honestly the area it was filmed in is more famous/infamous than the film and it's actors. The Danvers State Mental Hospital. That's right haunted central. The Danvers State Hospital is believed by literary historians to have served as inspiration for the infamous Arkham sanatorium from H.P. Lovecraft. Once you understand what really happens it's very disturbing. A second viewing helps connect the dots.

This is the beat list you've made (as in I agree the most) besides FearDotCom and I haven't seen It Stains the Sands Red. The Loved Ones is horrifying, in the best way possible. Robin McLeavy, Xavier Samuel and John Brumpton give extraordinary performances, it's one of the most disgusting movies I've ever seen, and it isn't my type of horror, but my God is it expertly executed and terrifying. FearDotCom is one of the worst movies I've ever seen haha. It literally makes NO sense, is hilariously cheesy and it's incredibly boring. Triangle is also one of my favourite movies of all time. It's perfect. Melissa George is up there with Jamie Lee Curtis, Essie Davis and Kathy Bates in female horror movie performances. She's mind-blowingly good and it's heartbreaking Eden Lake is relentless and that it goes on and on and on and it's amazing. Fantastic performances (fun fact, the female star, Kelly Reilly bullied my mother in school), especially by Reilly and it's visceral as f***. Antiviral is fine. It's beautiful in a gross way, and it's very interesting. The plot doesn't go anywhere and Landry Jones is very good. The interconnected aspect of Southbound is what makes it work for me. It isn't perfect, as always with movies like this, some of the stories aren't as good as others, and it is silly, but it's entertaining. Starry Eyes doesn't work for me, but the acting is really good. I think it's too shallow with the commentary, it's just the most basic way show themes like this. It's also really entertaining despite my issues.

A horror movie that I don't think I ever hear anyone talk about is Nine Dead. Came out in 2010 and is more of a thriller-mystery kind of thing with a realistic setting. Nine people are kidnapped and have to figure out why they're there before the clock runs out. Pretty simple plot, but the story, I find, is compelling enough that you want to keep watching just to understand why they're all there. I don't know where it can be streamed, but I'd recommend it; it's a good time even if others were to say it's good, bad, or meh.

Satan's Little Helper is a pretty obscure horror movie that was on Netflix years ago and I have not heard anyone talk about it before. I found it scary simply based on the concept alone which is a little boy following around a serial killer and helping him because he thinks that he is from a video game that he's obsessed with.

And when I talk about it with anyone and how traumatizing it was they haven’t heard of it. So I’m SUPER EXCITED to see it on this list and being discussed.
