Hey Brett! Awesome dude. Thank you for the shout out! Very cool and very unexpected. Couldn't agree with you more on all acounts. I didn't have a hell of a lot of video music exposure, though I did try and catch a program called power hour here in Canada that featured all metal for 60 minutes and discovered bands like Armored Saint, Artillery - I think, Y&T, Dokken, and so many others...but was still very much influenced obviously, as all my friends were watching Muchmusic (same as MTV here in Canada) and playing stuff they'd seen. Was an incredible time to be into metal. Excellent to see you included Heartbeat City. I still have tjat Cassette along with Candy O, Shake It Up and Panorama. Just such great straight ahead american rock n roll! Love that you went all the way back. I actually just stuck to the most spun recently...but it's not much different than all time, but for a few maybe. Been trying to get State Of Euphoria on vinyl but as soon as I save some coin and am almost ready to pull the trigger it just keeps getting pricier and pricier! Damn! Anyway. Thanks again my friend. Hope you have an awesome time in New Jersey as well as my fair city, Montreal. Wish I was free amd able to attend, but the grandson's are here on summer break...it's complicated. No need to bore you Lol! You're seeing both shows here? Pantera opening as well as Five Finger opening? Gonna be amazing either way. Safe travels. Cheers bud! 🍻 ✌️🤘🎶🤘
Hey buddy, I appreciate the kind words and I got to give you a lot of thanks as well because you were the inspiration for the video. I got to tell you I had a whole lot of fun making this one too. As I was getting the records off the shelves to show for the video, it was not hard for me to really figure out which ones I had listened to the most in my life. But as I said in the video, it's my video and I kind of wanted to do something a little different. So I showed multiple albums of some of the bands. As you well know, it's so hard to rank all these albums that we love so much. Very much looking forward to Montreal and it will be my first time ever in Canada. I will make sure to give you the full rundown when I get back and do my merch hall show.
Surprisingly enough, I picked it up on Amazon a couple years ago and it was listed as colored vinyl and when I got it it was white. So that record I showed in the video is actually white vinyl
