This guy gets hooked. Editors note: Aside from Jason Momoa... the Aquaman I’m acquainted with is late 80’s, Justice League of America. He was vanilla af. I assume it was that depiction that inspired Family Guy to do their pistake (he’s coloured exactly the same in both). In saying that, I don’t think I’d be too keen on exploring the adventures of Aquaman the invalid. ‘Summon any creature in the Ocean to do his bidding’.... that was his hook. Coming off second best after trying to fish his flat mates fiancés engagement ring out of the InSinkErator draws me into the plight Whether you’re Pro or Anti hook, ‘debate’ will go on... Well, to be honest, I find it good they not just ignore potential good characters just for the name and design. It shows some consistency for once instead of, you know, things like, why certain heroes not ask the Justice League for help when something big seems to happen and no one seems to notice or be around at all for example. Showing that yes, those characters are existing for a reason and can be useful with their skills and not just be some one-shot character like so many before.
What about when Batman was merged with the Joker by machinery, where one side of the head was Batman and the other Joker? And Batman had to watch the Joker commit so many crimes, but couldn't stop him? (I think it was New 52: Future's End)
What's messed up is that Batman even tried to stop him by firing a Bat Rocket at him, but they made the Joker so OP in this issue that he "deflected it with his sick sense of humor", he's so strong he can affect physical objects with freaking personality traits ? This man is like on Dr Manhattan levels of strength I think, and it shows with the level of savagery he followed it with by sending the coupons
What about the horrible incident where black mask killed Selinas ward Holly' s husband, then fed her some of his corpse, that was awful. Oh or the horrible incident where superman and barda were mind controlled to film a porno that's #1 for me
@@MegaNightmare4 idk, do YOU want to answer that question? Seriously think it through on which is worse, killing people, or seducing a minor? Come on, give us an answer
I would say Identity Crisis was a seven-issue long messed up moment. What happened to Sue Dibney was definitely the worst of it, but there plenty else in the series that was pretty messed up.
And I'm still pissed off by Ryan Choi's unfair death that was only brought upon by whiny toxic nostalgia-blind fans, and pissed off by the entirety of Heroes in Crisis.
Justice league dark apokolips war was basically just a Dc horror movie lol like it was dark how the Teens Titans (children basically) got ripped apart like sheesh
I don't think Batman wetting himself should ever be a thing so I'm going to say widening gyre should not exist. Not as gross as some of the things on this list but I treat it like it never happened, and I think that the world at large would agree with me.
Idk about Nightwing but I'm assuming with Batman you're talking about Damian's mom. People will argue against that because it doesn't fit the legal definition of rape.
@@theteddy1487 yes because the legal definition was made so that female rapist get off scot-free and only implicate men. can thank misandrist feminists for that.
@@theteddy1487 from what I understand it originally was written as consensual but Talia hid Damian's existence. Then it was retconned that Batman was roofied when they made Talia more antagonistic in modern portrayals. So yeah, it basically was the equivalent of a daterape scenario.
They should really give us dr. Manhattan in the dc universe. He sees how grotesque things can get and just goes around vaporizing everything you disagrees with. Even gods.
Am I the only person who liked Identify Crisis? Yeah it was a messed up story, but every channel on here that talks about comics says it’s hated by everyone.
I think Identity Crisis would be better received if it involved a pastiche of the Justice League rather than the actual characters. IC just caused so much damage that, whatever quality there is to the story itself, it's overshadowed by its consequences.
Handicapped, not disabled...or 'less than whole', 'not fully functional', 'lacking full capabilities', incomplete', or 'invalid' all work as well to describe handicapped folks.

@@dominicbuck3744 Well one of the main story lines of Justice league 2011 was the Trinity War arc, which lead to the aftermath which was the Forever Evil miniseries. The premise of these two story lines was a crossover event between Earth 0 and Earth 3.
