Travis Walls this gets brought up again and again and I just don't get why people don't get it. This isn't 2k's fault. The Xbox One and PS4 don't have that feature of installing music to the system anymore. It's a console limitation.
KalUHD ! Thanks for putting words in my mouth bro. I was explaining why it isn't possible. It's been this way for years, and as much as i would like it to return myself, it just isn't happening sadly.
I really miss Season Mode from 06 and 07. It was a bit repetitive after you went through the Championship and non Championship routes. But it was still fun as hell.
I very much agree. This game could be great, however, it is easier to just make a bare bones WWE cash cow and count the money they will absolutely get from it. Why risk millions of dollars making a possible flop that even successful will still probably not sell well because of the niche market when they can just keep releasing this every year with an updated roster and get a guaranteed profit. It is the whole “Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" kind of situation.
Kanyime too bad WWE sees this franchise as a "yearly payday", or else they would take a year off...that and its a sports title and those get updated often
also updated submissions to point where they finish off the opponent for example I damage my opponent 's limb and it red he should tap out and if black that means when applying my hold it should break his limb . also bigger advantage when you done enough to you're damage to you're opponent's limb and create finisher needs return being more refine unique .
who give shit of they cant pc can so way fuck cant pc ivosn of gam ehave it huh ps4 xbox one can have it of do thtor usb make work like memory card in dol you more caw lsot thro ps2 memry cardsso way do some eida btu with custom music no reozn it cant work
On PC it was better, only like 6-10 seconds every loading screens. The console story creator was more like 20-30 seconds if it didn't crash your playstation every five seconds. And when it did you'd end up sitting down and staring at your loading screen for about three minutes before realizing it crashed AGAIN. I want one in 2K18 because it'd be nice to see a new and improved version of the story creator.
-Three Stages Of Hell: Imagine all the match types you can mix and match -Storied Rivalries in Universe mode: With different endings depending on the winner of the rivalry match -Having the Divas bleed or get injured -Mod Support -Gauntlet matches -Create A Story -Make better use of the Injury storylines in Universe mode -Better WWE.Com news -More Universe Cutscenes -Better customization suite for Divas
What are you guys on about SVR is way better than 2K shitty games which are glitchy as fuck. SVR had better soundtrack better gameplay better everything. So to people who think 2k is good or some shit, go fuck urself kients
Julian Buffin I'm sorry but you're just plain wrong about SVR gameplay. Move variety was pretty slim, You couldn't freely move when you ran, meaning if you pressed the run button you went in a straight line, you couldn't stray away, making you fuck up endless times. Submission and pin system had you practically breaking your fingers button mashing to death, leaving you with carpel tunnel afterward. SVR games were always fast paced, however, whenever you got badly damaged you would go from either getting up stupidly quick or being on the ground for the whole match (Ladder matches mostly). SVR does have the best soundtrack to date but 2k has gameplay over SVR...
+BlackoutTVGaming but bro svr was more fun when im playing 2k wwe games its slower paced im bored in 5 or 10 mins seriously. u probs like more of a simulation game im different but yea u have ur opinion
6.Weekly updates, this includes Commentary, Roster, and Attire updates. Like if a new guy comes in, they update commentary to have them announce the name. 5. More customization from hair, to face paint and even height and weight. It would be awesome to do a custom entrance for a tag team. 4. Voices for promo's. 3. More weapons and more uses for them. 2.Create a finisher, There's no way we can't have Eric Young's Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker. 1.More realism; better physics like better weight detection, more realism with limbs, there's no way Kalisto should be able to knock Braun Strowman down with a dropkick just like real life it should at least take more moves to knock him down.
Niko Grimes You do know Madden 17 had weekly commentary updates right? You do realize that NBA does a different roster every week right? I wouldn't have said it if Madden didn't do it.
The Best Raptor Ever: King Andrea Bargnani Seriously, its like there aren't patch updates. If its possible for actual gamers to create attire, then why can't the WWE.
Wrestling games have never been about realism, that's why it's failing now. You're just beating the shit out of someone in the ring. Nothing too complicated about that, which is why they were much more fun back in the day.
the hardy boyz....Sheldon Benjamin...walk back stage on career mode.....all wrestlemainias.....the long ramp in wrestlemainia 33..... defeat the streak mode..... John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, ECW, Shawn Michaels camouflage atire, put your own music as theme songs, Evan Bourne, add more to the creation mode, John Cena vs The Undertaker, CM Punk, in finally Jeff Hardy's attires
True, however the voicing was one dementional and barely any change in emotions when dialog was given. Also let's face it that partcular voice really didn't suit most of the CAWs.
GM Mode (Control the roster in a story mode that mixes with universe mode). The game recognizing if a superstar lands on a chair/ladder/table/etc during a move and give more damage to the area of the body that landed on or was hit by a weapon.
acenace24 The GM Mode you just described was the Story Mode in Here Comes The Pain (still my favourite WWE game after all these years). You could put any superstar in a variety of stories and watch them play out - there was even the option of fulfilling the "Jericho/Goldberg" story that WCW never let get finished. Wish they'd bring that back.
What I'm proposing is like a mix between Universe, GM, Booking, and Story mode. So if you're in Universe Mode you can set the game to have you be the GM/Head Booker and create matches and stories. If you have the game set to Story Mode the game would create its own stories off of the results of matches or interactions. So say you want American Alpha to feud. In GM/Booking Mode: You can tell the game to create an angle where a tag team is broken up, select American Alpha, and the player could decide who should turn heel and the game would do this. The player would then be rated on execution of the angles and matches. In Story Mode: The player would not have to book anything, but if American Alpha had a match and say if Jason Jordan accidentally hit Chad Gable costing them a match. The game would recognize this as a problem between the tag team and then the game would begin adding segments involving the possible breakup of American Alpha. If they continue to fight and/or lose matches then one will be turned heel, but if they win and don't have issues then there is no separation of the team.
fuck showcase. give me Road to Wrestlemania using any superstar. Have unique story arcs and possible rivalries like they did in SvR: 2008. I want to climb to the top using a damn jobber.
2008's season was great, implementing the 24/7 deal with the training and stuff added a kind of RPG element to it which I liked, granted MyCareer has that but it's not the same thing chasing a shirt every month to get sales
I'm completely sober, I never really saw the repetitive cut scenes personally, outside of the post-match ones but I didn't mind them, the side activities I felt added something to the mode, plus they were optional
I think it would be cool to have things like interactive entrances. Where during your wrestlers intro you have the ability to do thinks like tear a sign out of a fans hand and tear it up. Shake fans hands, etc, etc. These choices would give you face/heal points. Having the ability to double crass a tag team partner or stable mate, something to create the cool swerves people never see coming.
A game mode just like "Smackdown!: Shut Your Mouth" again. Except make it so wrestlers age and retire and their stats can change depending on situations and injuries, NXT call ups, have the brand split mid way thru the year, make the first year be very close to real WWE then have it change afterwards depending on rivalries, weight class, championships, when stables wind up together on the same show... Just scrap showcase, story mode, and universe mode and make an ultimate universe mode. You can edit the rosters prior etc. and just thousands of potential storylines and angles that can happen .
jonnyhall1 this times a thousand. ..every year I anticipate being able to play this mode again and every year I'm let down. ..all you'd need is one bloody option for the battle royal and they never give it.
Andrew Anstrom because PS3 and 360 have been using the same base game since WWE 2K14. They just slap a little bit of paint on it with updated arenas, moves, and characters. But it's basically 2K14 with a sucky roster.
It's very easy to be better than SvR 2009. The only thing it introduced was the Inferno match (Which was bad), more interaction in a tag team (Which was bad because it was pretty barebones and you had to do everything because the AI was retarded), probably the most terrible roster in a WWE game (Seriously who cares about half the people on the roster?), and an absolute grindfest of a careermode (Bloody yourself and use weapons over and over for 5 stars and ez skill points) It also didn't have: GM mode, a good Royal Rumble, any legends or hall of famers (Paying money to unlock Charlie Haas instead), remotely good AI, and took out a bunch of things that made the games fun. 06 and 2010 were alright though, I will agree on that. My top 5: 1: Smackdown Shut Your Mouth 2: SvR 2007 3: Smackdown Here Comes the Pain 4: Smackdown Just Bring It 5: Wrestlemania XIX
1. Nostalgia? You never had any, so obviously you don't know. And NO, jacking off to WWF No Nercy doesn't count. 2. All 3 games can be purchased, and their ONLINE features were taken down years ago. Nice reading moron. 3. Look up "SvR 09 Online", "SvR 06 Online", and "SvR 2010 Online". Enjoy.
I'm afraid this is a situation where capitalism lets us down. They're used to changing about 10% of the game and charging full price for it every year. That won't stop until people stop buying the game. Another company can't really compete because people want the real wrestlers they are fans of. So... PLEASE... stop buying the game until they actually improve it and it's worth the price of a full game. I know that's unlikely to happen.
Unfortunately a more likely result of not purchasing the game would be 2k scrapping the whole idea of a WWE game. You would need to prove that taking the time to make a significant game will yield more result than a cash grabby-shovelware. Unfortunately, a lot of sport games are restricted because they target a very strong niche (that being those who love the sport and are also gamers). Unfortunately, making a much better WWE game would probably only yield only a small extra push in games as it is still restricted by those would love WWE. Although, this is purely my assumption after some thought. The argument could be made that a game could be so good that it introduces people to WWE, but I feel that neither WWE or 2K would want to take the extra time or money to do that when a yearly release can easily produce some extra dough.
ahh you poor wwe fans have not learned that 2k has a habit of taking away your favorite game modes for no reason in this case fans favorite matches like the Inferno match tag tables etc. They try to put out dlc that should had already been in the game. Horrible horrible online service.
WhatCulture Gaming, I'm not sure if you said this, but why not bring back WWE superstars from the past, not just Kurt Angle, what about Hulk Hogan or Scott Steiner. Also, I'm going to add on to what you said about those matches that aren't in WWE 2k17 like casket matches, 2 out of 3 falls matches, triple threat tag team matches (2 vs 2 vs 2), four corners elimination tag team matches a.k.a fatal four way tag team matches and I quit matches
signerleo snyder hey it's you again I see you everywhere on youtube lol I see you troll a few people with your spelling 😂 looks like your spelling has gotten better 😏 nice work.
I'd really like it if they brought back all the "Create-a..." content they keep giving us then taking away. Such as Create-a-finisher. And more entrance options, as well as bringing back a robust selection of wrestling matches. And voice options for our created characters would be awesome too.
I still remember the Smackdown vs. Raw games story modes, and they were amazing. I still love the storyline of beating the undertakers streak in Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 or something. And one of them had you play through a new invasion angle, which was actually good this time. It was so great, the historical showcases are good and all, but I miss the more creative storyline stuff.
Since I've started playing 2k17 recently, the thing I feel like is missing from MyCareer mode is random events. Go all out with the back stabbing, team switching, getting jumped back stage, etc. Maybe I haven't hit that point in my game, but think that would be cool if you had wrestlers asking for favors, etc. I know that doesn't fit the narrative sometimes in wrestling but would be a fun gameplay experience.
They need to have realistic "firings" if they keep Universe mode...but they need to improve Universe mode back to how GM mode was...have the option to put a superstar's career "on the line" as well as their hair, and even have the option to just flat out storyline "fire" them. Causing a AI recoil of them coming back for vengeance, or just flat out side line them. Tell me I'm wrong, but I still think that would set the Universe mode in motion to be something great!!
Best thing ever in WWE gaming is backstage walking in Road To Wrestlemania. To be able to play as one of your favorites and have story line and have backstage brawls was so great. They should make it kind of like South Park stick of truth, made you feel like you was actually in the show
Environment interaction remember the good old days of being able to do any move on a table, or climbing the smackdown stage. Hell I just wish I could jump off the crowd barriers again, bring back weapon movies like in the older games, and add more control over the created arenas
Being able to add your own music for your superstar entrance, being able to have 4 or more people enter at one time especially if they're in a stable/tag team together.
Take Two should pull a Call of Duty and have multiple developers on this game so he developers get more time on one game so we a get the maximum amount of features as possible.
For me the commentary is one of the reasons I haven't bought a game for a few years. The NBA commentary is really awesome though, just that your personal player gets specific call outs during games that actually right, free throw shots taken, baskets landed etc, is great. I thought it would have been in the game from day one.
Hardcore matches, Road to Weestlemania, gm mode, more story options and unpredictable events, better commentary, cruiserweight division, ruthless aggression era and characters entrances music etc etc, and custom character characteristics (laid back, expressive like Orton, quiet like Kane 98, silent and deadly like taker, heroic like cena etc etc
My top 10 features for wwe 2k18. 10. New OMG moments ie (Apron brain buster. Diving senton from apron) 9.Create an OMG moment that'll be cool. 8.better promo engine if possible add voice to it 7.Getting interviewed on MIZ TV or Ambrose ASYLUM in my career. 6.Remov Universe mode and give me a great story based GM mode 5. Create custom stories mode that was a great mode 4. Create a finisher 3. Better My career mode with a long story 2. 2k Showcase on Undertaker or Angle 1.Uploading custom music to use it in the game
1. Hair length slider 2. Change superstar facial hair 3. Create a story 4. Attires that encompasses the full careers of superstars (ex. Hbk, Jeff hardy, taker, trips, orton, etc. ) 5. Keep showcase out 6. Better crowd 7. More entrance themes 8. Career threatening matches in universe
custom entrance music, more match types, better universe mode, and bring back old features like creating ur own finisher and creating ur own crowd signs, id be happy with that cuz I know the roster is gonna be good this year with the hardys and kurt angle both back in wwe
1) Better Create A Superstar mode (let your mind go wild) 2) Return of Create a Finisher. 3) GM mode 4) increase ring capacity (no more just 6 in the ring, 10 at least.) 5) More options on Create an Arena. 6) Allow the updating of current roster members. 7) more match-types (Battle Royal, 5 man tags, THE FINAL DELETION!!) 8) Better online play 9) Customise Backstage areas 10) Martin Kirby
The game most definitely WAS NOT better with the showcase mode. I couldn't stand playing as Stone Cold after last years showcase. Plus you could choose who you wanted to unlock with your VC. A season mode would be great though
Samantha Gutterson I want to see that cause I wanted to make yang from RWBY in 2k17 but can't play her through the career mode which sucks, I want the female wrestlers for career mode to happen
10:more health 9:more moves 8: buried alive 7: better special referee 6:40 man royal rumble 5:more character cutimization 4:better commentary 3: more teamwork on online tag team 2:a new campaign mode 1: more stuff like riot shields and glass bottles in backstage
I wanna see create your own finisher that feature back and in the audience if you become famous enough you can customize your shirts that the audience could buy if your fan meter gets high and they would wear them to your shows and everything and they should give more clothing options and logos or make it easier to make them and for intro music let us use the game soundtrack Because when your in the menu listening to music it make you wanna use that on your superstar on my career and if u make a super star period
For years, I've wanted to be able to have more guys in the ring. Come on, we're at the Playstation 4 and can still only hold up to 6? Would like to see 8 and maybe finally give us Survivor Series Elimination matches. Also, I think a fun little tweak for the Royal Rumble; how about being able to toggle how long between intervals. Like having new participants come out every 10, 30, or 60 seconds.
Thinking about online aspects, the one thing I'm surprised is that 2K hasn't gotten around to doing something like Spectator Commentary. Think about it, you could have two to four people spectating a match online and give them the option to be the color commentators instead of the standbys of JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.
Texashighflyer If you do a break up tag team promo you're done. YAY! I did that, worked perfectly but no.10 contender for the US championship. Sad thing is you move up the ranks _really_ slowly
my top 7 things i want in wwe 2k18 1: ambulance match 2: buried alive match 3: casket match 4: good storyline (kinda like wwe 13) 5:better graphics 6:gm mode 7: entrance in elimination chamber
take a year or two off and create a new engine for the game. we will survive one year without a new WWE2K game. I still haven't retired yet in 2k17. Also the WWE Universe mode needs a complete overhaul cuz as of right now, it's boring
Is story mode good this year bro ? I was very disappointed with the career last year so didn't buy it . If it has more cutscenes and good rivalries ill buy it..
1. Let 2K finally utilize a text-to-speech engine so that names will be fully customizable. 2. The story mode of Here Comes the Pain, SVR 2007 were awesome.
