I still have the motor and the boat, but we stopped using it. Local officials have turned our favorite, and only island near us into a bird sanctuary. So we no longer have a destination to go to. I will try to get a new video up this summer when it warms up. Thanks for the interest!
I’m getting ready to test it on Tuesday. I believe I resolved the radio cutting out. I also have a crazy idea I want to introduce on how to make it a lot faster without changing the motor!
@@ScottyNoo0 I had to upgrade to a 12 volt radio because the old 7.4 volt system wasn’t able to control the steering. I think I have it figured out though. I went from 65 kg servos to 150kg! I’m hoping to throw it in the water tomorrow to finalize the testing. If all goes well I should have the next episode out in a couple days

I actually seen something on a fishing boat, but the motor was on the front of the boat for going into lower water, + it's already has a bigger motor on the back, 2 men and the motor you are using pulled all that weight no problem... Try hanging it from the front...

The motor I have is actually 3,000 watts which is 4 horsepower unlike the manufacturer claim of 7 horsepower. I requested there largest motor and 3,000 watt was the largest
