@@jamesfinendale4898 I’ve been saying that to Cowboys fans since they choked against the 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs in early 2023 yet here we are now and Cowboys fans are starting to come to their senses that he should get fired.
Hard for me to see the Cardinals fire Jonathan Gannon in the middle of the 2024 season, even after the season ended. He decided to become the head coach of what we thought was one of the worst situations for a team in the NFL, until the Carolina Panthers stole that title, where he knew he wouldnt have his franchise QB until the end of the season and would operate a team where the only stars on the team were Budda Baker on defense and James Conner on offense. Now Gannon has his QB for the start of the season, made some good moves in FA, had a good overall on defense in a draft where the team had 12 picks and now has a young offense with Marvin Harrison Jr-Kyler Murray-James Conner-Trey McBride who was a surprise riser on the team last year. Not saying they'll be a 10 win team, but this is Gannon's real 1st year to see what he can do for the Cardinals.
Yeah I agree I don’t see them letting jg even if he had a bad season. Last season was total rebuild and this is his first actual chance to shine . Kyler showed some skills even with the offense he had and now he has Greg dortch, zay jones, Micheal Wilson , James Conner, and Marvin Harrison jr. not including our other draft picks. We’re loaded
Because even though post season wise he hasn’t been terrific when you look at the teams we’ve been putting out we shouldn’t have even been there and Steelers have had 3 coaches in the superbowl era we’re not quick to fire
The Steelers ownership is very old school. They pride themselves on having had only 3 head coaches in the past 55 years. The Steelers have also won more games and more Super Bowls than any other franchise since 1969 so the proof is in the pudding.
If Belicheck ever returns, it won't be with the Cowboys. They already can't afford to pay Dak, Parsons & Lamb. How would they ever be able to afford Belicheck?
@@seahawksfan7298 Jerry Jones can definitely afford to pay all the players. The reason he can't because of the salary cap prevents that. Coaches are not part of the salary cap. Dallas Cowboys are the wealthiest sports team in the world. If there was no salary cap they can sign the top agents. Salary cap makes the league balanced.
I disagree with Sean Payton being on the hot seat. I don't even think his seat will be warm for at least another two seasons. His situation merits him more time than he should have but, I don't think he'll get the boot unless the Broncos still look mediocre this year.
Could see Payton get another season after this one, but with that QB room and questions about the offense, I wouldn’t be shocked if his name is on the hot seat but not fired.
I think the writing is on the walls in Dallas. They filled the defensive coordinator job with Mike Zimmer. If things turn south again for Dallas, I can honestly see McCarthy get axed, and Zim promoted.
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl the problem with Dallas isn't McCarthy or even Zimmer the problem with Dallas is they've got an owner that has a 10 million mile wide ego and so much pride that won't allow him to stand aside and be an owner and not a coach

@@jamesp57867 That’s true but if they do make the playoffs with a new QB and new look offense his job is safe. The defense really improved midway through last season which is good for Matt cause he’s a defensive minded HC. We will see what happens tho.
Eberflus isn’t getting fired mid season, the Bears have never fired a coach midseason. Last year is a good example, Getsy was kept until the end of the year even with his awful playcalling. I’m saying this as a bears fan, Eberflus has his seat until at least the end of the season
They don't watch Cardinals games. When Division rival press conference gives Cardinals praise and say their better than record tells you that they respect what Cardinals are doing.
@@garrettclardy943 I actually enjoyed watching the 2023 Cardinals way more than the Suns. Cardinals played with alot of heart and were entertaining. Suns were coasting on talent and played with no heart. Miserable watching that overpaid disinterested team.
Gannon on this list kinda surpised me as he did put up a pretty competitive team despite their 4-13 record and beated 3 playoff teams in that season, he has also improved the roster very well and more the just Marvin Harrison, plus with the how good all those teams are you can't expect him to win all of them, so don't be so hard on him because of the start of the season and last years record
Gannon, McDermott and Daboll wont be gone, as a bills fan McDermott is on the hot seat just needs a fully healthy roster with his best players to perform his best
His take about Gannon makes me question his actual watch time for last season. That defense was supposed to be the worst in the league and he made that team 10x more solid then projected. As a Broncos fan i can tell you that i've seen bad defense.
Gannon 100% wouldnt be fired. If you've paid attention to the Cardinals at all this season, everyone is very high on him because he did coach a team up to give some of the best teams in the league losses or near losses. (Cowboys, Eagles, Steelers, Ravens) Not to mention the bond he's had with Ossenfort. Gannon isn't going anytime soon.
No matter what I think the Cardinals are gonna keep Gannon, everyone had the Cardinals being the worst team in the league last year, but they eked out four games and were surprisingly competitive, and they managed to beat three playoff teams (albeit my Steelers played like shiii) and they really started picking up the pace when Kyler returned. I’m excited to see what Arizona can do.

Because he's only interested in the Cowboys being run his way, and his way alone. If a coach acts like a drone to Jerry, then he gets to stay for a long time. Someone said in a RU-vid comment, that if Jones fired Mike McCarthy, it would mean that he was wrong to hire McCarthy, and Jerry is never wrong. (In his eyes) Top tier NFL owners are perfectly satisfied with being figureheads, letting the right head coach and the right general manager run the team without intervention, and firing people when the time is right. Robert Kraft was perfectly satisfied with letting Bill Belichick run all the Patriots operations, and he was rewarded with a dynasty. Clark Hunt is doing the same thing: keeping his ego in check and letting Andy Ried and Brett Veach operate the controls in Kansas City and gives them the credit they deserve. Jerry Jones' worst enemy is his own ego. It has been for over twenty years.

I may get a lot of backlash for this but I think Mike Tomlin and Kyle Shanahan should be in the hot seat as well. It’s been a little over a decade since the Steelers last Super Bowl run and you mean to tell me that over the last 16 years this man only has 1 SB win and a SB appearance to show for it? For Shanahan his lack of playoff success and his incompetence to adjust and game plan when it matters most in those big games should speak for itself.
I wish the Steelers would drop coach "500" ...but they won't,because not being below 500 & depending on the browns to make the wild card is "good enough"😢
The Johnsons don’t fire coaches mid season. They didn’t even fire Adam Gase after his horrendous starts to the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Unless the jets start out like 0-5, I don’t see them removing Saleh mid season.
Cardinal fan here, and its unlikely Gannon will get fired unless we have an obvious failure because of coaching. So he is good for 1 more year. Plus Monti being a new GM he wants to see how this new staff does for the next few years.

Replace the Panthers coach with Tomlin and you've got a solid list. 7 straight years without a playoff win, traded his number one QB pick from 2022, six years in a row with a bad offensive line, and they did something very un steeler like this off-season: spent money on Patrick Queen/Deshon Elliot, signed Russell Wilson, and traded for Justin Fields. It's believed in some circles Art Rooney II gave Tomlin an ultimatum this off-season "to get better on offense and win a playoff game. And if the Fields/Wilson thing goes awry Tomlin's in trouble"
Tomlin's only getting fired if he has a losing season. He's never had one in his long career and as long as he keeps having at least 9 wins, the Rooneys will keep him around. In addition, the Steelers have only had three head coaches since 1969.
@@sirstewartwallace3917 well aware of their coaching line. When the standard becomes accepting mediocrity, I don’t give a crap how many couches we’ve had in 60 years.
Jonathan Gannon more than likely won’t get canned cause the team still has a big deficiency in terms of talent on their roster and was competitive last year in spite of it. As for others that should be on the list, I can think of 3, all in the AFC. 1. Mike McDaniel, Dolphins. Yes Miami has made the playoffs multiple years for the first time since Marino was QB. However, they flame out once they start the playoffs, the defense seems to be subpar (not sure whether Anthony Weaver is the answer at DC), and the holes on their offensive line due to free agency, injuries and near retirement. If they’re 3rd or have a subpar record midway through, owner Stephen Ross might more want to be the first team to sign Bill Belicheck. 2. Doug Pederson, Jaguars. After briefly having the best record in the AFC last season, they fell apart down the stretch. Not all of it was his fault (mainly the injuries to Trevor Lawrence left Travis Etienne as their only reliable offensive threat), but the Jaguars missed the playoffs and kind of switched things around, losing Calvin Ridley, Darrious Williams and Rayshawn Jenkins while adding Gabe Davis, Mitch Morse, Brian Thomas Jr, Arik Armstead and Darnell Savage. They’re good enough to make the playoffs, but Pederson’s niche is on offense, and his OC Press Taylor should’ve been replaced after a major regression on that side of the ball. If the Jaguars are behind the Colts (and especially the Titans) at about the midway mark, owner Sahd Kahn might be looking for a new coach. 3. Antonio Pierce, Raiders. He did well enough to make the Raiders competitive after Josh McDaniels was thankfully fired. He also made his mark on defense and got them to play in the top half of the league during his coaching. However, between a subpar cast at Quarterback (not much expectations for the winner of 2nd year QB Aidan O’Connell or the oddity that is Gardner Minshew), Runningback (the misfit Alex Mattison and Zamir White replacing Josh Jacobs), a decent but not great O-Line, and a secondary that seems to be very hit and miss, and that’s already a disaster. Throw in the back to back Super Bowl champs in the division, plus a wanting a quick restart Chargers and not sure what to expect from the rest of the AFC, it could conceivably be where the only teams worse of than the Raiders are New England and Tennessee. Mark Davis might not be in the mood to see if Pierce can make it through a large rebuild in Las Vegas.
The cowboys coach is always on the hot seat because of Jerry Jones the question though is if Jerry is ever going to figure out it's not the coach it's the owner
a lot of coaches in the league called last years cardinals the best 4 win team they've ever seen...gannon managed to get 3 wins vs playoff teams with a practice squad roster i don't think he's getting fired anytime soon lmfao
Im an eagles fan and Sirianni is my guy but i just still cant get over that 1-5 finish to end last season. He should’ve been gone then. Only thing that saved him was we were coming off a super bowl losing season. Yes he has posted a winning record all three years he was coach; but that 1-5 finish after starting 10-1 was just unacceptable, incomplete, and insufficient! He has to win the bowl this year to make me and other eagles fans believers just to keep his job. But i think if we have a bad second half and stumble into the playoffs again and lose, he’s gone fasho.
There’s no way the cardinals fire Gannon. Although he had a 4-14 record last season all 4 wins were against impressive teams, and the cardinals roster was easily the worse. Gannon managed to change the cardinals very toxic culture from Kingsberry and make his team more competitive then they ever did under Kliff.
You can tell no one at TPS actually watches the teams they talk about they just go off a record cause if anyone watched the cardinals they were probably one of the best 14 loss teams I've watched with a lot of their games being close
Once A Upon A Time in New Orleans 2006 to 2020 Sean Payton and Drew Brees were the perfect QB and Coach Duos making excellent magic together they'd won the Super Bowl Championship in 2009 together both of them will be in the Hall Of Fame no question on that for sure but while Mr.Payton went to the Denver Broncos as the new coach you thought that this will be a new beginning in the Mile High City & rightfully so unfortunately Him & Russell Wilson didn't get off to a good start at 1st but now with Bo Nix as a Rookie QB in 2024 let's hope that Payton will remain as coach if Bo Nix comes as advertised we can looking at something good here give it some time it will come cause it's Super Bowl or BUST this season! 8:00
IIRC, Wade Phillips was only one that Jerry had to fire during mid-season because his team was at 1-8 that's when he got fired. I doubt McCarthy will get fired during mid-season unless his team ends up 1-8 or worse. I think Bears and Bills head coaches will get fired because owners are probably impatient with results. Saints and Broncos are good candidates as well.
If Canales gets fired mid-season, the Panthers are screwed for the rest of the time Tepper owns the team. NO head coaching candidate of any worth will ever take the Panther job with Tepper as the owner. Also Gannon is safe, the Cardinals were better than their record suggested and his starting QB was out most of the season. They'd need to go 4-5 wins again and then he'd be on the hot seat in 2025.
TPS being moronic as usual. Unless the Cardinals go 0-7 in there first games, Gannon's job should be perfectly safe. This is just them rushing a video out without having topics and teams that actually belong in the video. Gannons first seas was NOT abysmal. They were going to have a bad record with that roster no matter what coach was in charge. Idiocy 🤦
And they're still going to have a bad record with the roster they have now. Murray is a joke. He'll be out of the league when his ridiculous contract is up.
Bills just have the hard part of taken on the chiefs.. surprised he wasn’t fired last season.. they are going into a rebuild.. hate to be Allen.. they went all in.. and now are really trying to hope the draft picks hit.. broncos, chargers and raiders did it.. now all are suffering With cap issues..
I would have been dumbfounded if Matt Eberflus hadn’t been on this list, I think he’ll last the season though unless we start like 0-6, if we win 3 of the 4 home games, Carolina, Tennessee and the Jags which on paper we should at least win the first 2 but the Rams the other home game and trips to Houston and Indie then you would think 3 wins would be the best we should expect but the last 8 are the 6 divisional, and the 49ers and Seahawks. Realistically though I can see a record worse than 7-10, I’m only expect 3-4 wins, Titans, Panthers and Pats and we could easily beats the Cardinals, but we struggled against both the cards and Panthers last year despite winning. We also have the Rams, Seahawks and Jags at home and 49ers, Colts, Texans and Commanders on the Road, realistically wins in there are the Seahawks and Commanders then maybe the Jags. The 6 divisional games, I think we can win all of them, we should’ve beat the Viking and Lions twice of the but easily loose them as well. The Packers we just don’t play well against. So adding them all up 7-10 would be the expectation but any thing from 4-13 to 11-5 is more than possible!
This HAS TO BE AN AI AT THIS POINT. I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS PERSON'S FACE ONCE. These take just KEEP getting worse whenever I say they can't get anymore bad.
We all Mike McCarthy's background winning a Super Bowl Ring with Aaron Rodgers in 2010 year with the Packers but even since he was hired as Cowboys head coach he's been to the playoffs with Prescott but haven't gotten far to another Super Bowl let alone the NFC Title Game unfortunately so it's time for Dallas to pull the plug or cut a man loose permanently! 0:28
Gannon is not on the hot seat. They had a worse roster than Chicago with their QB injured. And Daboll may have a lukewarm seat but it’s not hot as of yet. Everyone else’s seats are either hot or scorching. I think the most likely candidates for mid season firing is Dave Canales, because Dave Tepper is a nut, and Bryce Young may struggle to start the season.
I think Sean being on the hot seat is a bit of a stretch considering what he walked into, he’s a solid coach and I feel it would be a huge mistake if the Broncos sacked him after this year
Kevin O'Connell deserves a mention. After having the luckiest season in recent memory in 2022, the team regressed heavily last season and now have the biggest wide receiver contract ever and no quarterback. This team could struggle to win five games in an NFC North that's looking like one of the toughest divisions in the league. And a big dark horse candidate: Jim Harbaugh. He's been away from the NFL for nearly a decade and won't be able to cheat his way to victory like he did at Michigan. I have a feeling we'll be seeing Urban Meyer 2.0 here as he's going to find the NFL has changed a lot since the 49ers fired him.
I agree with KOC to some extent, but with MN clearing up a bunch of cap in 2025 and beyond and getting rid of the bad contracts of Cousins and Hunter, KOC and KAM can finally fully build this team in their image. And the Wilfs are usually pretty patient owners
@@catusler the 49ers didn't fire Harbaugh - he left because he couldn't get the players he wanted, the shitty GM was the one drafting. Harbaugh has done nothing but win every where he's been a head coach, and it pains me to say that as a lifelong 49ers and Nebraska fan.
Dennis Allen of the Saints is already dead meat. If he makes it to Week 12 of the 2024 season I will be very surprised. Nobody on the team actually respects him.
Kevin O'Connell is the prime HC candidate to get TERMINATED. He's the crappiest head coach in the NFL as the Vikings be lucky to win 5 games this season. So bye bye KOC!
