I used to be very confident in myself. After 1 bad day, almost all my confidence is gone. I felt like im losing myself. When i asked for help, their response just made it worse. Im still struggling with it. I cant have fun with conversations anymore. I cant make jokes, or being sarcastic cuz im not confident and its just frustrating. Maybe because im starting to hate myself. Wow, the first minute and 40 seconds was all I needed to snap out of the mindset of lack and self loathing. I needed that reminder that we’re all here going through different hardships in life and that none of us are perfect or have it easy in this life, that we’re all insecure about something in our lives. I think you might be overthinking it. Whenever I let loose and stop trying to give the perfect response, things come out. You may not give the right response but over time with experience you will learn to give the response you want. For now though, I would say just don't overthink it and let loose. It doesn't need to be the perfect response, it just needs to be you
