What’s your favourite Star Wars game you think not many people have played?

I played the new Yoda Chronicles, once you showed the sky diving one, I remembered

me: every arcade place i ever go to has a star wars battle pod Bombastic: their still rare

The GBA revenge of the sith was my CHILDHOOD, and i play it to this day.

Ewok village is very fun, it’s a browser game where you are the new chief of an Ewok village and you build up your village in the trees and unlock new buildings and wonders, it is a side scroller, side map view game, fun, but the time the wonders take to build is massive, even if though it does count down even if the tab is closed or the computer shut down

I remember the new Yoda chronically I loved it

I remember back in the day I would play an online game that let you play as a clone trooper traveling across the landscapes of planets destroying every Clanker you see. Planets like Christophsis and Dathomir if memory serves right. Pretty sure it also had a customizable profile of a clone at the bottom of the screen, and Everytime you’d get shot by a droid he’d react to it. Worst ones to fight were the Magnaguards and vulture droids. Only thing I Can’t remember is the name of the game.

I played Revenge of The Sith on Gameboy, good times. Anakin had force choke, Obi-Wan had a twirl attack. No voices, good music, fun gameplay.

Oh man, I loved playing Yoda Chronicles as a kid. Now the real question is, have you played the Lego The Quest For R2-D2.

I’ve played the battle pod at the arcade and it’s pretty neat. The one I tried had a Takodana mission where it felt like the machine sprayed a bit of water at me as I skimmed the surface of the lake. Pretty cool stuff.

I actually played 2 of the games listed here! As a kid, I owned lethal alliance on the Nintendo DS and at the time, it was super fun! I actually recently picked up a new copy from a retro games store that is close by my house. The other game I played was battle pod. I had the privilege of playing both versions, and at this point will make it a priority to play whenever I come across one. Battle pod is super fun and immersive despite being in rails. At the start of each level you're given a mission briefing and actually control your jump to hyperspace with the throttle. 10/10, would recommend that you play it at any chance you get.

OMG STAR WARS BATTLE POD??? I haven't played that game in years. It's a great experience and something very special. Also, I remember playing Star Wars the new Yoda Chronicles in the car when my parents were running errands. Man, that takes me back😌

I’ve played Apprentice of the Force, Lethal Alliance and Revenge of the Sith off this list. The RotS game on DS was mostly the same, but added a few Starfighter missions within the story, and then the multiplayer was all starfighters as well, I had a lot of fun with that. Could even play in classic ships like the Falcon and Slave 1.

I actually played through handheld rots recently and it was pretty fun, even managed to get through on master.

I remember this Star Wars game where you play as fighter jets from the original trilogy and you can destroy star destroyers by shooting the shield generators and the globe thing on the bottom.

I’ve played and love LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles, which is an amazing mobile game if you don’t have much to do but don’t want to have to commit to completing a level. I frequently find myself you shooting ten Darth Vaders before getting killed by an imperial officer and blowing up so many star destroyers while continuing to get so much health that I just decide to let myself get shot. Falling into the abyss is not my jam, but I can never seem to beat the level where you’re a droid gunship and have to blow up ARC-170s and AT-APs

I played the heck out of ROTS for the GBA as a kid, It was one of the very first Star Wars games I ever played. I honestly still play it every once in a while

My family was in line to get movie tickets and I sat down in this one and pushed some buttons, and it gave me a free round of getting to blow up the Death Star. That was in 2018, and we were on vacation in North Carolina.

I have a number of forgotten and seemingly missing Star Wars games that I recall. There were a bunch of cool Star Wars mobile games like Commander, Force Arena (which had special playable concept art Vader and Luke characters for the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars), Uprising, and Rivals (a 1v1 or 2v2 third person shooter). All of these games have since been cancelled and removed without much explanation. There was also a really cool mobile game, 'Star Wars: Rise to Power' which had a alpha/beta testing build of the game playable for a while before the app was shut down, its social media deleted, and the website shut down, all without any comment or information given. It's really quite mysterious and seems like the project was swept under the rug. Somewhere near the release of the first season of Star Wars Rebels (about 6 or 7 years ago), there was this really cool browser tie-in game game which seems to have been scrubbed from the internet. The game was called 'Star Wars Rebels: Rebel Strike' and it was a 3D, top down third person, turn based action-strategy browser game, built in the Unity engine. In the game, you controlled a selection of the rebels who battle Imperial forces on Lothal in a tile based map. It was honestly amazing for a Star Wars browser game (possibly the best ever made) but a couple of years ago I went looking for it out of curiosity and it was barely even referenced. From memory, there were a few low quality RU-vid walkthrough videos, a short Wookieepedia article, and a number of similarly named Rebels games. The only website that had it (some UK Disney site) seemingly took it down. It didn't appear on any of the sketchy Star Wars browser game re-upload sites, nor any official Star Wars or Disney related sites. It would seem that 'Star Wars Rebels: Rebel Strike' was erased from the internet and there is no current way to play the game.

Two obscure Star Wars games I played as a kid, one of which my cousin had and one I got for my birthday in 2005, were the Star Wars Lightsaber Battle Game and Revenge of the Sith plug and play

I loved playing Rebel Assault 2 off a floppy disc when I was a kid. The mining tunnels mission was infuriating for the longest time until I finally passed it.

There was an old Star Wars flash game (I think on the Cartoon Network website?) based on the Genndy Tartakovsky mini-series that I remember quite fondly. You could play Anakin’s first duel with Asaaj Ventress on Yavin 4 as well as Kit Fisto facing the Separatist Quarrens below the seas of Mon Cala. I never owned a computer of my own growing up, so I would use my dad’s whenever I went to visit to play this game as much as I could. Also, there was a DS Clone Wars game based around lightsaber duelling I used to play. You could play as Anakin, Ahsoka and members of the Jedi Council like Mace Windu, Plo Koon and Kit Fisto. All characters would be utilised in one play through since you would need to pair them up and send them to planets like Rodia and Dathomir. The lightsaber combat involved using the touch screen: I don’t remember exactly how it played but it took me a while to get to grips with as a kid, though that may be because I was (and still am) a complete dunce lol. And does anyone else remember Star Wars: Obi-Wan on the original Xbox? Where you could play through the events of Episode I as Obi-Wan with added scenarios and planets. My older brother beat it and I remember hopping onto his safe file and attempting the fights with Maul and the Jedi Council with no experience with the gameplay at all. Needless to say, I got my ass kicked! This comment is way to long for its own good. It’s just fascinating how many games came from this franchise that no one really played or talks about. I guess when games like KotOR I and II, the Battlefront games and Republic Commando exist, there’s bound to be titles that get overshadowed. Or maybe I’m just a magnet for weird underrated games, as my history with the medium is quite unique and steeped in games that are either best left buried or sadly don’t get the recognition they deserve.

Apprentice of the Force was fun, but screw the mission where you had to travel through Mos Eisley. That was a pain.

There's a battle pod at the Dave & Buster's near me. I ALWAYS go in it when I go there.

Stunt Gungan is literally the same thing as a early/mid 00's flash game that I played when I was younger. The difference is that the flash game was shooting a cat form a canon and this one is just Star Wars slapped on top

Oh man, the handheld revenge of the sith game. That's where my nostalgia was. Played that so much as a kid. Dunno if I was just bad at it or if it was unfairly hard. Can't remember if I ever got to the ending but man seeing this animations fills me with so much nostalgia

Another rare Star Wars game I dont think has been metioned on the channel? Is Star Wars Obi Wan, that game was essentially a prequal to ep1 leading into episode 1 finale. That game was really fun to play with a decent story and gameplay. Most of the time I was in the battlemode in the jedi council chamber defeating all the jedi council members!

3:50 I'm going to have to disagree, Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles had a lot more content than The New Yoda Chronicles. TNYC was basically "run and shoot, run and slice, fall and avoid, fly and shoot" whereas TYC had a wide selection of vehicles decent sized maps, and you had to capture certain points and defeat certain enemies to win the game, and required more thinking and felt less repetitive.

New Yoda chronicles somehow didn’t bypass me. Just watching people play is brings back memories

Star Wars Imperial Academy was my childhood, i really miss it a lot... I also played both Yoda Chronicle games on the ipod too. We have the Star Wars Battle Pod at a Dave and Busters here in my town as well

I haven’t ever met anyone who played “Star Wars: Yoda Stories” for Windows 98. The game’s setting took place in the original trilogy. It was my very 1st Star Wars game I ever played. It kinda played like classic Legend of Zelda.

I actually still have Apprentice of the Force! I loved it back in the day. It was sort of the definitive version of the SNES SW Trilogy games imo. Had some fun parts but also had some excruciatingly difficult moments. But what it did well was letting you play as only Luke, you really felt his growth as a Jedi and you learned new skills along the way. Good summary of the OT and the addition of a few vehicle missions definitely help improve the game some. Not perfect but a worthy game.

Hey Bombastic, I actually used to play the Yoda Chronicles on my phone (the mobile app) when i was still a kid. Also, in my local arcade machine inside a mall, it has two star wars battle pod (Flat Screen) and I actually beat the entire game (All of the missions, also the Darth Vader Mission that was Impossible Difficulty) of Star wars battle pod.

I've played Star Wars battle pod at a arcade. It's one of the most fun I had. I never got to play as Vader😧.
