Try the German sausage by slicing it and then frying it in a pan before putting it on a sandwich. Or even eat it out of the pan. It is sooooo good.

fyi: Gardenia's factory was recently affected by floods and they had shortage of bread for couple of days. People had been scrambling to get their hands on every gardenia bread possible. It's just that good.

Century eggs sure are hard to eat, at first. But when you're used to it, it's fantastic. Nothing beat hot congree with century eggs soaked in chilly soy sauce as a side dish.

Century egg is delicious! I often eat it in congee, and it's my favorite part of the congee! I hope that those afraid to try it give it a go when given the chance! It is somewhat pungent, but it is nevertheless delicious!

I've had century eggs multiple times before and honestly they don't smell so bad to me, but maybe I've only had some fairly mild ones. I adore them though.

The beer ham has little in common with our beer ham. It is more reminiscent of canned meat than of a good German beer ham. I can only recommend taking a trip to Germany and getting to know the German food culture. Btw German cuisine has much more to offer than just Bavarian cuisine.

Honestly, Mr. Bacon, the only shocking part of this entire video was you eating the cold (although cooked) whole chicken from the can curry. Tofu and century eggs are culturalist. I think it's beautiful and heart warming that you share your culture with me, an American. In the southern part of the US, specifically Louisiana, we serve a dish similar to this, but it's with a sauce called Tiger Sauce and a block of cream cheese. We usually eat our eggs deviled, which basically means we take the yokes and add various condiments, like Mayo, mustard, relish, and then put them back in the halved, cooked egg white. Again, thanks for always sharing the coolest videos!

DB, for the chilli oil, you press the bulging top (which is actually a button) on top of the dropper. it will drop the oil instead of having to shake it.

I've only had century egg on its own as a side dish with soy sauce but I definitely have to try it with tofu now. It's one of my favorites and a little hard to find.

Some of the earlier food are pretty good for disaster relief situation where access to stove is pretty hard. (or you have to q for stove) Just eat them directly from the pouch, package or can. Even better than instant noodle...
