Ikr !! I live in a small place, let's keep the countryside aside, there's no availability of cheese even in the cities. Yt videos make me crave these to an infinite level gosh darnit
@@edgar2457 same here lol Idk how domino's decided to open its food chain here, otherwise there's no such thing like cheese anywhere in the market here
@@angelicasysnila5476 yep I still remember before domino's arrival in small cities it was difficult to find cheese in a small town but now it is available in small cities too.
To all the people saying. We don't see the frozen food here in India. It's because large section of people prefer street food or dine in over frozen packaged food. It wouldn't benefit the company therefore they don't have a variety of frozen food here!
@@Koji-888 We don't have trader joe's in India, but we do have an excess of fresh garlic naan! When Covid dies down, make sure to visit India,if you haven't already🤗🤗
@@donpeace894 It's a type of Indian flatbread, traditionally baked in a clay oven. It's like a pizza base, eaten with curries and other Indian sides.Probably the most popular type of bread here.
Roti base pizza is getting popular here as an "healthier" option. Some shops only sell roti base you if you need traditional bread base then you need to pay extra. Lol. The roti or naan base one doesn't taste the same but making it at home sure helps with time and use extra stuff without throwing them away.
I'm really glad you're trying more Indian meals, and it seems you've hit the view jackpot with them as well. I do hope you'll continue to try different cuisines and dishes!!
@@snowysnowyriver It is very easy you can keep it plain when you are sick or spice it mildly when you need comfort food. Some people add fish or mince to make non veg version.
You just need to boil rice, lentils( I use moong dal) salt and half a teaspoon of turmeric together till it is mushy. I use a pressure cooker for this stage. You can have it plain like this when you are sick. I squeeze a bit of lime especially when my tastebuds or on a strike cos of the medicines.
P.S. if you want it bit more elaborate. Then after boiling the rice, lentil etc, you need to give a tadka. I use ghee, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves and mixture of dry coconut and black pepper.
Nope, It atleast didn't offended any indian ppl coz these big brands take idea after it's sold by ppl in india locally & works well in indian market...Actually this fusion invention done by Indians in india itself. U can find various naan pizza varities in specially Pizza focused indian resturants/food outlets!
The khaman dhokla is sweetened with sugar syrup, so yr bottoms would get wet. There is a nice tadka (spice mix) on it which adds lovely flavor And ofcourse the spicy 🔥 chilli too!! One of my fav items 😃 to eat 😋
Of Course they don't...why would any Indian buy a processed pizza filled with preservatives when McDonald's or pizza huts are easily available...they r intelligent..
The way he used his hand to eat the chicken tikka masala with rice instead of spoon is just like a typical Indian style which won my heart and made me give a like🥰👍
@@iceagepenguinrace9788 Nope. She has a personal lnsta account with lots of photos of her and Shander (they are lesbian couple) I'll give you the account name so you can look for yourself.
Thank you for reviewing indian food once again, just for the information that bottom of khaman is usually wet(little moist) and generally it is consumed with red and green chutney(indian spice and herb sauces)
@@soubpc6735 no you wont find them in normal stores ,as they are sold mostly to foreign countries. but i have seen them in few big stores in delhi(south)
@@soubpc6735 except for dhokla which is sold in sweet shops I haven't seen other stuff being sold. For frozen food in India, we mostly consume chicken nuggets or those fries or onstant noodles like maggi

I've been making naan and pitta bread pizzas with tandoori chicken for years. I also make butter chicken pies which my kids absolutely love! Indian fusion food is a great introduction to Indian food.
Dhokla is definitely a moist cake, perhaps more moist since liquids go to the bottom when heating but it's not just water from the freezing process. I've also had it served to me fresh with chutneys or green sauces (cilantro based I believe) and it's the best thing on the entire planet. I could eat Dhokla every day and never get bored. I love it so much.
I’ve recently started watching your channel and absolutely love seeing the different foods/restaurants and the way you present them. These quick meal videos make me wish my country had these types of stores. Are we ever going to see the guy behind the camera? Thanks for the content😃👋
It’s great to see that you’re eating with your hands. It’s how Indian foods are eaten and you followed it. Great job. If possible do something Bangladeshi foods.
@@catherinebond7474 Cutlery like forks and spoons have never been in India. Though all Indian people do use them now, most Indian dishes do not require them.
In india We usually prepare food and consume these foods immediately keeping more than 24 hours considered as unhealthy freshly prepared food is everything in india.preserving food means pickle, sweets, morabba few other kinds are there.still consuming prepared food within 12 hours is must rule we follow.
For the first time as an Indian I have heard Dhokla being called as "Chickpea cake"! Is it that hard for Europeans to call things by their original intended name? 😉
4:11 the bottoms are usually wet,,, because it contains sugar syrup to enhance the taste of the 'Dhokla'... So that it will taste sweet with tangy and spicy flavour🔥 It's normal!☺️
Very nice! I love cottage cheese when cooked in Lasagna, or even stuffed manicotti. When done right, a person shouldn't really be able to tell the difference! That pizza looked tasty.
Your my most favourite food channel. I watch almost all of your videos. The reason for this is the variety in your content, the ambience and ofcourse delicious food you bring to us. so goodluck and keep going 🥺🤝
@@anixes but here it's a she*... The channel is maintained by two girls, the one who takes a bite of various dishes (we have seen her in many dancing bacon foreign country videos) and then the other one who records ... They both are a couple ig saw their instagram a while ago.....
Well, It's a No in most of Indian households as we have huge culture of having freshly cooked meal...That's why these pre-cooked, packed, highly processed & frozen items didn't sold well when introduced here in indian market in past. Even powder mixture that come in supermarkets to easy prepare desserts & some cuisines..aren't preferred by most homes in India coz it don't taste like authentic home-cooked Indian food. Lol, Even almost of our shop/street/outside foods r all freshly cooked from scratch but developed countries who've habit of consume highly processed, frozen, months old pre-cooked packed items for convenience due to laziness or lack of time..Consider ours as sickening 😶
I'm glad that you are trying Indian dishes.. 😊❤️ For complete dish of Dosa, you will need a sour flavored lentil soup known as sambar and for Dhokla you will need a sweet and sour Sauce (here we call it Chutney) then you will get the actual taste of those two dishes 😊
I really loved the way of eating chicken Tikka masala by showing Indian traditions such as eating on leaf like plate and also eating with hands shocked me a lot😀😀👍💯💯💯
porridge is oats, people have it for breakfast as a sweet and hearty meal. the first dish appears to be a curry, it's *not* porridge. also good one in cutting off the ingredients at 0:28
Porridge is any ground meal or grain product that is steeped or boiled in water or milk. In this case rice and lentils. Westerners most commonly eat the sweet oat based version nowadays.
Shrikhand is literally curd without excess water . It's one of best non-fatty deserts to have. Khichdi is eaten along with dhaniye chutney , aloo chokha ,biagan bharta and papad with GHEE definitely added
