@@Habeev07 Hey, I skate the Roces M12 Chestnut. That was my first Aggr. Skate back in '96 (with CDS Detroit grind plates for Soul Grinds and Royales;-). And I just wanted to give a try with the new one. What shall I say - it's awesome.

Hahaha amazing, you tell ‘em! 11 is a wonderful thing. Seeing it a lot more these day parents getting out there with the kids. My Dad taught me to surf and I still love getting a surf in with him when I’m back home.

Thanks for the comment. Amazing to hear it’s got you pumped to skate after a break. I’ve skated in some very rudimentary skates. They looked like leather sandals with part of a shopping cart attached. Incredible fun but so dangerous. Yea the naming and language thing is tricky. These days you’ve got to consider SEO as well if your putting stuff online. It’s defo skating! Enjoy the skating - hope it doesn’t rain and thanks for the kind words as well

@@TomMoyse hey cheers for the reply man! Good point about SEO - the words 'skating' and 'skate' have become far too entangled with the act of skateboarding (or as I like to call it, plank-wanking ; P). So yeah - I think 'Rollerblading' is the correct terminology really; it's *almost* lost that 'uncool' feel due to being used so much. Funny when the dipskate crew tried to change the name to 'rolling' lol. Didn't really pan out. On a more comical note, what else could we call it? 'Free-Skating'? 'Libre-lining' 'Wheeling' 'free-roll' - oofff - I actually like that one mildly. 'Free-Skating' even would be ok. 'Just off for a free-roll m9' 'wtf you on about mate?' 'Rollerblading' 'gayboi' etc etc. Well sorry for another ramble chaps, stoned as fk and thinking about skating a lot lol. Been trying to think out of the box - one idea I came up with was to completely redesign the concept of the soul plate. First thing that came to mind was making tapered edges. Tapered at the front and/or tapered a the back (for prototypes perhaps just 'sanding' down the fronts and/or backs, without reducing the integrity/safety of the skate itself). So soul grinds would suddenly become way more variable: you'd have three different ways to do loads of new soul grind related stuff. Could even taper the negative soul for more madness. I feel like skates themselves need some new crazy innovation like that though for real. I mean why not? Imagine crazy grinds like a 'nose manual soul' or a 'tail soul' or something. Fk it, could even mess around with the H-block; like two (BiG) wheels on each skate set-up, with a huge area between the two wheels, and a super extended H-block for all kinds of new madness, but nicely curved inwards to avoid the ol' anti-rocker horrors of getting stuck on the mildest of transitions etc. I mean could even come up with something completely stupid like a 'double negative heel manual slide' lol. Wow, sorry for another rollerblading ramble lads and ladettes, couldn't help myself. If anyone has the money and means to create these mad high-concept rollerblades, plleaaassee do it!

Yea I’ve defo made more friends via rollerblading on my adult life than any other ways. There is a great community spirit right now. Hopefully that is maintained as it grows

Yea it’s just great rolling around. At lot of people who have come back mentioned they don’t feel pressured to do anything wild - which I think make a big difference

@@TomMoyse I woke up one day and just had the urge to royale a curb! And was just generally interested to see what I could do. I didn't expect it to be this much fun. Couldn't resist and took it to the skate park. I was happily surprised that my knees didn't disintegrate instantly haha
