As a swede who traveled to Phillipines and Asia i love the contrast between the two countries and i consider it best country i have visited. I think above all the filipino weather and people are the best with happiest mentality and openess. Great video and insight, very fun to hear your thoughts !
thank you so much! I think filipinos are raised to be very polite and welcoming at all times and I do miss the warmth of the people here but I've had such good experience with swedes in general so im ok with that :)
Totally agree on your top 10 list. In my 7 months living here still everyday im so amaze from nature to people though language is very hard 😅 but getting there. 😊
Right? Just really thankful we get to experience it and that we are accepted in sweden ❤️ the language takes time but it will come! Thank you for watching🥰
Sweden is like Norway but cheaper to live in Sweden. I am Norwegian and have lived in Sweden, the Philippines, and Spain. I give Spain the best rating for roads, food, climate, and price level, but the downside is that very few people speak English. Sweden and Norway score better in language and the Philippines achieves the best in social interaction. This is my opinion and we are all different.
Regarding settling down and building a family. Not even mentioning the social benefits when it comes to work and staying home with your kid(s), healthcare, school etc :)
This is truly inspiring and informative. I've learned lot of new things from you sis. Next year it will gonna be my first time abroad particularly sa spain. for my master's study and I will keep these tips.
I’m dating a Swede. He’s such a reserve guy. Can you create a Video sharing your experience dating a Swede guy to other nationality (if you’ve had other relationship with diff nationalities in the past) please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awesome! thank you for sharing this. Currently living in Germany and planning to move to Sweden in the future. Can you give us some tips on moving to Sweden? jobs? culture?
Swedish and German culture is not that far apart. Try and get a "personnummer" before getting here if possible. You cant do anything in Sweden if you dont have one.
3:11 "I mean for a every family that has 3-4 people in it, they can consume up to 17 kg of candy per year It's not 17 kg per family, it´s 17 kg per _person_ , on average. It´s just crazy. 6:28 Electricians you should still hire in Sweden, too risky to do yourself, for most people. In a lot of cases your home insurance wouldn´t cover it, if something happens, if you have done the electricity stuff yourself.
This is so informative video and aside from your English is very fluent i adore you. i think my English was still a baby since im still on the process of molding that , in other words most of the words i say are wrong grammar ,..
Ive heard that once before, im not sure how or why but i suppose i pick up the accent without knowing? Haha if you live here for a while i guess its hard to avoid haha
It seems Sweden has been good to you and for you which is just great. I hope you stay here and continiou to be a great ambassador for our counutry. Were not perfect, but we hope to be in the future.
Ate, is it better to just buy an apartment in Stockholm instead of renting? or is the rental market better in Uppsala and the outer areas of Stockholm? Lastly, are winters really THAT miserable? btw, this video just pulled me closer into choosing Sweden as the country where I’ll immigrate to in the future :>>>>>>
Hi, its always best to buy /own your apartment in Sweden since rental is so expensive and its really not that easy to find a place to rent. There are many sublet apartments too but can be located far out of the city, or can be overpriced. Altho it really depends on where you're going to be based and for what purpose. :) I mean if you working in the middle of the city and don't mind the commute from the suburbs, then I guess its fine. But if you're coming here as a student, then buying a place can be pricey too. There are student housings for those who study. :) Also, winters aren't miserable. I mean yes they could be tough for new immigrants but nothing you'll not get used to thru time. As they say in sweden, there is not bad weather, only bad clothes. :) thank you so much and I really appreciate the comment! :)
Love your channel. But to my knowledge the first heart pacemaker was invented by a Canadian scientist John Hoops in the year 1950. Hoops completed his training as an electrical engineer from the University of Manitoba when he was just 21 and started working with the national research council in 1941. In 1949 Hoops started his research on hypothermia where he worked with radio frequencies to increase the temperature of the body and understood that cooling stopped the working of heart and it could be restarted by artificial stimulation. This discovery led to the invention in 1950 of that of a pacemaker. The first pacemaker was too big to fit in human body internally. It was first tested in 1949 at the University of Toronto’s Department of Surgery on a dog. The earliest form of catheter electrodes used vacuum tubes that were later replaced by transistors. The first implant of pacemaker in human was done in 1958.
Thank you! Haha yes i mean thats why i wrote ”almost” 🥰 its hard to generalize but ive never experienced people not being able to communicate in english, even if its a struggle 🥰
Hi Titin! I'm a Filipina living in Germany. I love your vlogs. I wish you'ld make more vlogs because I've watched all your vlogs and I find them all very interesting. You're a good narrator /speaker/ presenter.
Bra video. Bra reklam för Sverige. Snygg, vältalig tjej som pratar väl om oss 😍. Du borde skicka videon till Turistrådet. 👍 Bra tempo också- du vet vad du vill säga och ser till att få det sagt utan att pladdra. GJ
Im happy that you enjoy living here, it can be very tough to move to another country. But you are almost a true swede already😁😁😁 With regards from Michael
if you take look at swedish family names you will fund that a majority of them is derived from nature. Ak , gren, lund, lundberg, björkgren. mossberg. and so on. 3,
Swedish candy is trans-fat free and do seldom (or never) use american corn syrup. But gluten free? Never heard of that. I don't think or candy is healthy, but swedes walk alot :)
I say 10pm because im used to that, and even now i speak swedish i still say 10 pm 😅 well i guess not to generalize but most swedes ive met if not all love coffee and tea 🥰
@@TitinHurtado I don't think many Swedes say 10 PM, but many Swedes still say 10 when they mean 22. Some say ”10 på kvällen” (”10 in the evening”) to avoid misunderstandings, which I feel a little unnecessary, since ”22” explains it all in one shot. I'm probably a bit unique in this, because I'm the only one that I know of who say ”kvart i 22” (”a quarter to 22” - 21:45). I know quite a few Swedes who don't drink coffee, but I think most of them drink tea.
Lördagsgodis is sweet with a bitter history :( Poor ppl in lunatic asylums provoked or forced to eat candy and get their teeth and jaws destroyed. Therefore. We nowdays say to our children. Sweet One day att week. It´s kinda sad. Otherwise Sweden is great ♥
Jag är gift med en Filipino och hon älskar att vara här men hon har aldrig stannat längre än 3 månader. Hon älskar våra saker men har aldrig blivit van vid dom
Bor hon kvar i filippinerna? Va synd hoppas ni kan va tillsammans här mer! Jag förstår om hon blir aldrig van med saker här men säkert kommer hon ändra sig när han väl bor här 🥰
