@@Flixartist I expected it to be good simply because Black was behind it and I loved Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, etc.; what I didn't expect was to wind up laughing my ass off so much throughout nearly the entire thing simply because of the actors involved. I knew Gosling could handle comedy because of some of the roles I've seen him in, but Crowe played a brilliant "straight man" and it was kind of like watching a modern-day Abbott and Costello: there was even a part in the movie reminiscent of *Meet Frankenstein* when Gosling finds a dead body and can't call out for help. But I was just *not* expecting to absolutely lose it when Crowe and Gosling are in the elevator and the guy just goes screaming off into the night; Crowe's face killed me.
'Sisu' really delivers the goods. Both lead performances, the Finnish and German officers produce a riveting cat and mouse, and the film is brilliant on that simplistic level, coming in at (the endangered species) 90 minute feature. Great for what is is. Did not see this one coming. Excellent inclusion.
I loved Sisu, it was like a throwback to those 80's action films where the lead actor said very little but didnt need to as his screen presence didnt need it. Think Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider or Unforgiven, even if the final fight did really push making you willingly suspend your disbelief somewhat!
Best ride I had in theaters all year Lol like I love horror but this was ridiculous As Joe from Movie Dumpster said It's the B'EST B movie of all time, but had a insane fucking AAA BUDGET Insanity And honestly they really ran with "Based" on a true story 😅
Man it sucked so bad, it was always going to suck, but they tried to tell too many side stories rather than focusing on the cocaine bear which was an odd choice, none of our group made it through the whole film.
Not sure if title speaks for everyone, but definitely speaks for me. Access to entertainment news is limited here under the rock where I live. I think I heard something about the Bob Ross film, but that's it. Now, I'm trying to figure out which videos are going to have an outro, like this one, and which are going to end abruptly.
I'm surprised THE POPE'S EXORCIST with "Father Gabriel Armorth" wasn't sued by Disney, who owns Marvel, as from 1974-80 Marvel had a character called "Gabriel, Devil-Hunter", who was AN EXORCIST.
Blackberry was surprisingly good and I found that I was paying more and more attention as it went. It was nice not recognizing the actors, so I didn't know what they were going to do with the roles.
Growing up, I didn't know anyone who watched or liked Bob Ross. Now people act like he's always been an icon. Maybe in Hollyweird. Nobody cared in Tucson AZ, Tombstone AZ, St. David AZ, Toledo Ohio, or San Antonio Texas.
I still stand by that the main actor playing in Sisu shouldn't have any dialogue until that moment at the end, would've made a bigger impact on the film imo.
@@vishnunair7623 Wrath of Man was so weak that I forgot Guy Ritchie even did that movie. Besides, according to IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, more people tend to agree with me anyways.
I have not yet seen "The Pope's Exorcist" with Russell Crowe. However, I'm reminded of a mini-series I really enjoyed starring Martin Shaw, "Apparitions" (2008). Given my youngest child's observations I'm sure I'll be seeing Crowes latest movie soon. As always thank you so very much for the videos. "Plane"... "Ship"... "Train"... "Automobile"... Bus? "Truck"?... "SUB"? (Too soon?) "Starship"? "Tardis?"
i saw 6 of the the 10 films is cinemas & knew bout them from trailers & posters in the the cinemas i saw them in. Blackberry was great & i loved Hypnotic which felt like Philip K. Dick story....
Sisu was freaking awesome... But i'm pretty sure it had trailers running with John Wick 4, and Marlowe Pope's Exorcist i know at some point NBC/Universal used it to sponsor one of the WWE Premium Live Events... and I Think even paid Crowe to show up on WWE TV so they weren't exactly hiding it... Paint Looked interesting when I thought it was a faux Bob Ross biopic... the more I saw the less I liked... and it just came and went IDK where to even look for it on streaming if I were so inclined
I saw Plane... it was a very "ok" movie, but was WAY too simple. Like it starts and ends and feels like there should be an act after it but there isn't, lol...
I hope if they make a new constantine movie that they'll have the pope's exorcist play a role there... a little whink to the viewers :D 8:58 ^...^ why is the guy with a hat that is closest to the camera running like that? he got way too much arm movement for the speed he's running at
