Saying the Packers failed the Adams trade is kind of wild.... i think it worked out for us. Got a first and a second and didn't have to pay a guy 30 Mil+ per year, which would put us in Cap Hell right now. After all, Adams might have been worth more than a first and a second but on the other side we can now rebuild an already pretty good team without the cap space issues we would have had with extending his contract... and we got a fast MLB (Quay Walker) and a good WR (Watson) out of the picks
Agreed. The Packers have one of the best and youngest WR corps; many teams would love to have this many talented and cheap players! Yes, losing Adams hurt, but I would rather have multiple talented pass catchers to throw to rather than one superstar. Look around the league, the best offensives have multiple players.
The other domino was the money that Adams got, made tyreek hills agent ask for more money causing him to get traded. Chiefs used those picks to build one of the best young defenses. Thx packer and raider peeps 😂
The packers and Carr both won their respective break ups, Carr went on to throw 25 TDs to 8 Ints and the Packers made the playoffs after 2 years and have a completely rebuilt WR room
Exactly care was top 10 in every statistical category and Just barely missed the playoffs in his first year with a new team and the packers almost made the nfc championship smh tps is getting worse and worse
Agreed. I guess I can understand saying it hurt them for the 2022 season (not that they had much choice, but if you're just focusing on the impact), but the 2023 situation was another matter entirely. Yes, they struggled early, but it didn't exactly doom them and now they're stronger for it.
As a saints fan the packers take is completely wrong and just proves why people like myself need to stop watching this joke of a channel, in addition I don’t think Carr really played to bad and improved dramatically the second half of the year and put up close to 4k passing yards and a decent td to pick ratio and was one of the best statistical qbs to end the season. Under kubiak he will improve dramatically and make my words he’s gonna put up the best numbers of his career. Going from a washed Sean Payton long time assistant to a shanahan assistant is gonna prove that even though kubiaks only been there for a season he would of taken on so much on board and has playoff experience to
Packers is self explanatory they were back in the playoffs under a young team and Jordan love already looks like a top 10 qb easily, they have a really bright future
@@kevinmckay2483 my thoughts exactly my man its mickey and gayles fault really for giving DA such a long leash along with always kicking the cap down the road, can never bring in big FAs
What are you talking about lol???? Derek Carr had a below 10 interception season this year and the year prior. I’d say it worked out for Carr and not for the Raiders. The guys got almost 40k yards in his career. That’s almost an average of 4k yards a season with also a 24 tuddy average. This list sucks.
One thing that never gets mentioned about the GB and Davante Adams split, we beat the Raiders contract offer to Adams, he just didn't want to stay in GB. This looks extra bad for Adams now as his stated reasons for leaving were he wanted to play with Carr, have a team with a settled QB and didn't want to wait for Jordan Love to develop. Well Carr's gone, the Raiders have no QB and Love is already leading his team to playoff wins. Oops.
Winston was not better than Carr in the game vs the Packers Carr lead them 17-0 but when he got hurt Winston did not scored which allowed Green Bay to comeback and win
Carr had a better record with the saints than he had with the raiders a year before and finished top 10 in passing touchdowns, yards, completion percentage and passer rating and JUST missed the playoffs despite a often injured o-line, bad play calling and tons of injuries to his rib, shoulder, etc His story book is still open after a year wouldn’t say the break up has failed just yet
@@elijahpatterson2596 I’ve been a saints fan for 16+ years… I make it my business to catch every game and carr wasn’t bad at all besides a few games in the beginning of the season… as the season went on and he got more comfortable he was balling!! The last 6 weeks of the season he led the league in multiple categories
Releasing Mack made a lot of sense as we are rebuilding and it fixed our cap situation. Last year we had the most cap space and this year we are top 10 in cap space AND defense also we are on a upward trajectory sooooooo
don't be so quick to say that Carr failed, he didn't have a horrible season, and he finally has a top ten defence and a decent play-caller (hopefully) in Kilnt Kubiak
I feel like the Jets one is false. The Jets got a Franchise Guard and a Franchise Wide Receiver with those picks. Garrett Wilson by himself shows that the Jets won that trade.
Derek Carr had way to much hate this season and saying Winston Played better is just wrong yeah Carr had a bottom 5 year of his career but still was a top 20-16 QB this year more passing YDs and TDs then hurt's Lamar minshew who were All pro Bowers and teams with winning records
This channel sh*t all over Carr every chance they got for years saying the Raiders have to move on to have a chance and now they are saying he was the only thing keeping them together 😂 like please make up your minds 🤡
